This song went through my entire marriage, through my divorce and now, unfortunately. my ex-husband has recently passed away. I always loved him. I still do. We were young and stupid but we knew love and this song was ours and forever will be. Be careful you youngsters. 40 years feels like 6 months. Love your life and live it with no regrets.

I remember when patty was just getting popular i took my wife of 45 years to see her in Gainsville FL. At a concert she had. Patty signed a tee shirt.we enjoyed the show. I lost her last year to demencia after strugglig for the last 2 years of her life. Trying to work taking care of her. It took a toll on me. But i wouldnt trade those days for nothing. I would not wish that disease on eny one. That song just tears me apart . Ya'll stay strong love ya'll
