Interesting facts about Jonah Hex:
∙ Hex has time traveled on several occasions. Teaming up with the JSA, & more.
∙ One of Jonah’s first missions was in Gotham City, He helped Amadeus Arkham track down a serial killer.
∙ In his mid 30’s, Jonah married a woman named Mei Ling.
∙ Jonah learned about the “Court of the Owls” way before modern-day heroes.
Poor guy.... all he’s known through his entire life was abandonment and abuse especially at the hands of evil, no wonder he’s been a lone drifter his whole life, as people and society have failed him time and again when all he wanted was acceptance. And yet.... he’s still manages to defend others against evil, despite nobody had saved him from his tormentors and he still goes out of his way to defend those in need. Sometimes you have to step outside society’s apathy and it’s corrupt limits that protects criminals and you have to bravely seek justice yourself and be that concealed outside force for good, as fear only helps oppress evil power in it’s actions, and you can be the light that shines down and reveals evil’s corruption concealed in the darkness.
Jonah Hex is one of the most obscure characters in DC I wish WB would give his movie another chance.
Considered how many dc characters there is he definitely isnt one of the most obscure....he has a movie ya know
@@PatternLand he definitely seems I'm scared since DC hasn't use them that much. And that movie was ass cheeks
Ikr. Best western comic ever.
If we do get another movie, can it be more of traditional western like in the early comics, maybe introduce the time travel and supernatural stuff in a future sequel.
Jonah’s obscurity has saved him from being overused (like Batman) or from going through the wringer he is unrecognizable as a character.
Wow his mom is worse than the father.
No, not really. Bouth were wretched, just for diffrent reasons.
The fact that Jonahs mom left him by himself with his abusive dad pisses me off and shows that she most likely only cared about herself when she told her husband to leave and not come back until he's sober
Jonah wasn't 'raised as an Apache' like he was adopted. He was a slave.
It was only after he saved the chief from a puma that he was essentially adopted.
Idk about “slave “
Jonah Hex: The Two-Face from the Wild West.
JONAH HEX Bounty Hunter of the Old West ⬅️ Birthday November 1 Birth Card Six 🕕 of Diamonds: Bounty Hunter Jonah Hex operates along the wild frontier of the American Old West ⬅️ Though ruthless and brutal,he abides by a personal 💻 code that protects the innocent 😇 Hex bears terrible scars on his face 👀 legacy of a punishment from Native American Apaches. He's a lone wolf 🐺 by nature but has a sharp shooting girlfriend named Tallulah Black 🖤! Jonah Hex reminds me of Clint Eastwood! Blessings and Hugs 💖🤗🙏🤗🙏!
Jonah is obscure no doubt but that obscurity has saved him from either over use (like Batman or Joker) or character assassination/mishandling like so many other characters from comics. Jonah had his story, he lived his life and it ended (somewhat) after he canonically died.
It's sad that so good quality video isn't getting enough views😥
This was really good. Add real story telling voice actor for the dialog and you would really have something on this Chanel for sure my friend. Excellent job though. Seriously though, consider my suggestion. ✌✌
I do like this Story 🤩Rock on Jonah hex
I just found your channel you got a new sub 🥳 this is great content thank you I enjoyed this very much please make more I am sharing this video
Thanks so much for the support! I’m glad you like the vids!
I thought Jonah's origin had some super natural elements to it?
Like? Didnt he die and come back from the grave or something like that?
Only if you believe the movie
In every comic book issue of Jonah hex there's no supernatural or magic thats why Jonah hex movie starting Josh brolin was shitting because of that, if they ever do a reboot movie of Jonah hex(which they should by the way), then the Jonah hex movie has be like classical country western movie it'll be a version of Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, or the style of Quentin Tarantino, even though it's DC but still you don't want to disappoint the fans, they want a cowboy western movie of Jonah hex rated r
No. That was made up for the movie. He was just a bounty hunter in the comics.
Correct
@@markcraft Not a bad idea! I like to see QT take a shot at Jonah Hex. They can have Martin Kove or Ron Pearlman play Quentin Turnbull.
Just wanted the story to keep going with this character. Thanks again for posting.
Jonah Hex should be a tv show. And i think Scott Eastwood would fit in as Jonah Hex.
I think the guy who plays Dean on Supernatural would be a great Jonah
Loving your videos! Keep up the good work.👍👍👍
Thank you!!!
I only just found your channel and I love the intros for every character. Also I love Jonah Hex, I have one of his older comics and thought he was cool in legends of tomorrow.
Thank You for making such videos and Happy New Year to you.P lease upload the origin of vixen, vigilante.
Jonah Hex... My favourite western anti-hero of all time.
He could walk up to Boba Fett and call him "WIMP".
Jonah Hex needs a Netflix or HBO tv show thats gruesome and compelling
Realistically Jonah hex is my #1 favorite dc hero
If they did do another of jonah hex movie it has to be like country western movie like in the comics not the supernatural shit they did in jonah hex movie starting Josh Brolin even though he did amazing job as jonah hex I'll give him that, but overall I want a movie to be dark and gritty rated r mixed version of john Wayne and Clint Eastwood western movie, revenant, true grit, red redemption, deadwood sereis and those two movies that quentin tarantino directed which is Django and hateful eight that's what I want jonah hex movie to be like
Remember buying these comics and GI combat for .25.
Damn he suffered from beginning to end!!
They must have retconned his origin as I remember reading that after realizing the Confederates were wrong, he left the to turn himself in to Union soldiers but was double crossed as Union soldiers told the Confederates he ratted them out by giving up their location.
First she protects Jonah from his abusive father but then she leaves her son to deal with the exact same man who brutally beat both of them frequently? That makes no sense to me. Does she suffer from scizophrenia with multiple personality dissorder or was she blinded by love for this salesman?
I watched the cinematic version and it really leaves you wondering about this character having a Confederacy origin. His wife that is murdered does look like she might have been native American but it's not exactly spelled out. The timing of it is probably what makes it all seem strange. This answers a big question but it also leaves a REALLY large gap.
J.Hex goes from betrayed by a tribe member to being adopted (I guess?) Frontiersman to...joining the Confederacy? Can someone fill in THAT nutty gap to me? If someone has a link to a more complete history of the character. He's interesting and new to me.
jinny hex is related to this man
Jonah Hex had a rough life..
Like the scar didn make that obvious already lol
Sucks for him
the only guy who could possibly play as Jonah Hex is Clint Eastwood,,,,, a young 300x more gritty Clint Eastwood
Yeah cause josh broiling was shit
Jonah Hex was based on the man with no name if you want a decent Jonah Hex movie watch The Outlaw Josey Wales it's jonah Hex in all but name
@@thomassutherland377 I agree, and the movie came out just as Hex was becoming popular.
Cool
interesting character
My number 1 DC character is John Constantine from Hellblazer but now I have found my number 2. Look batman and that lot are cool but I don't like overpowered do gooders. I'm British we are negative by a standard at least iny circle
I Wish Future New Justice League 2021 New Comic Book issues #1-56 With Superman Batman Wonder Woman GL John Stewart Peacemaker Black Lighting The Question (Renee Montoya) And Jonah Hex as Join The Justice League Heroes
I thought he had some kind of supernatural power
😢😢😢
I have a question why did the mother leave hex?
The salesman hate children so she has to leave her son in order to escape, she did love her son but she is also selfish,so she chose to escape than taking care of her son
Why does every superhero have to have abusive parent 😡👊🏻🤕
I know lol that is a very common origin theme!
Comic Origins jonah's got the worst bad luck every were he goes it's all ways Tragedy Heath break and Abandonment I hope one day he finds
Peace
Or they end up dying from a tragic death behind other reasons.
not all of them lol superman and batman almost had the best parents ever. both of their parents sacrificed themselves in order to save their kids.
Yeah. Thomas wayne was a monster. Dont even get me started on how neglectful the Kent's were to Clark.
Posta a animação completa por...
His mother is the worst, i thought she take him with her but no, he left him with a drunken man who almost killed him
No, not really. Bouth parents were wretched, just for diffrent reasons.
Do Killer Croc
Woodson was really harsh
His story is really dark.
guts
Wait you missing as whole lot how about his seemingly ability to not be killed
Totally different from the movie
all my life experiences pale in comparison
