Interesting facts about Hawkgirl:
∙ During Dark Nights: Metal, while assisting the Justice League, Hawkgirl was transformed by Barbatos in a dark-hawk version of herself named Lady Blackhawk.
∙ Hawkman and Hawkgirl were once killed during Blackest Knight and resurrected as White Lanterns.
∙ Hawkgirl has had a couple children who eventually became heroes such as: Silver Scarab, Dr. Fate, and Sandman.
∙ In the New 52 relaunch, Hawkgirl appeared as Kendra Munoz-Saunders from Earth-2.

Yes. Especially in this SJW era in cinema were they are so insistant on gender or race swapping a character who was originally white or male.

That's such a romantic story! Well told sir. For Hawkgirl, her greatest struggle with her memories is truly a "did the chicken, or the egg appear first?" I never looked into Hawkgirl before, and didn't know about the nnth metal- could you do a orign on this material sometime? :D What is it and why is it one of the most powerful substances around? Take care.
I LOVE How Bruce Timm combined these origins for the JLU universe. Making them Thanagarian aliens that arrived to Earth and be reincarnated from then on makes so much more sense than this separated Reincarnated OR from Thanagar.
When the current resurrected Shiera met the empress Hawkgirl(Shiera) from Thanagar, I was like, "Oh come on! What!?"
It's so convoluted and confusing. They need to do a light retcon and just combine the two. Make it make sense.

In the Justice League animated series and the Justice League Unlimited series, what was up with the writers making Hawkgirl cheat on Hawkman with Green Lantern John Stewart? Did that show do a great job in portraying her?

Sometimes they do it amicably, not really cheating, a thing called "separation" and an often hostile way called "divorce". When it's not marriage, it can be done in a breakup or a "break". One thing that I find funny is that both hawkman and hawkgirl origin is from Egypt, they are Egyptians but they always reincarnate in America only. Why don't they ever reincarnate in Egypt or the magrebies countries.

The thing with Hawkgirl that everybody seems to forget, there were two. How, you may you ask? Before Crises, there were many multiverses but the two that DC focused on more were Earths 1 and 2. Earth 1 covered the Golden age heroes, which the reincarnated Hawkman and Hawkgirl were a part of, along with the JSA (Justice Society of America). Earth 2 had the silver age Hawkman and Hawkgirl, two aliens from the planet Thanager. They became members of the JLA (Justice League of America). Then, Crises happened. That got rid of all the multiverses and condensed it into one. That event reconned everything. Then things got worse with the mew 52. DC thought they had fixed things, but they didn't. It just made it worse.
I really like the work. I mean a lot. So Cinematic and entertaining! Thank you

That was the Justice Society (Pre-crisis Earth 2). You mentioned The Justice League. The Hawks from earth 1 (pre-crisis) were space cops from Thanagar. If you're going to do these origins, do it right to avoid confusion. Thank God I a DC comic book fan!

I’ll always think of her origin as Shayera Hol from Thanagar. She is one of my favorite heroes.
