Damn, Jonah Hex has had it rough. I love his appearance in Batman: The Animated Series! Such a great way to include a DC anti-hero from the 1800s by crossing paths with an immortal villain from modern day. One of the best episodes in the series! I hope he can make it into an Injustice game. Playing as Jonah Hex would be awesome!

DC could have a whole roster of good western films if they wanted to. There's lots of great characters. They could also have some great WWII films to if they wanted. I don't know why they have such a hard time making a movie when they have so much amazing source material to work with.

@@austinnowak5414 Agreed. I'm a DC comic guy through and through. And I'm tired of seeing such good characters get crapped on. Green Lantern could have been it's own franchise if it has been done right. As much as I like Ryan Reynolds, he's not right for Hal Jordan. Ryan would have been a terrific Flash. Hal is more stoic. I think Karl Urban or Nathan Fillion (He voiced Hal in the animated movie) would have been better suited for the role. At the end of the day, it's like you said, they're trying to be Marvel or anti-Marvel when they should just focus on doing their own thing. Hell, I could have planned a path to a Justice League movie that would have been coherent. It's such a shame. A JSA movie would have been awesome.

Josh Brolin was great as Jonah Hex, but the movie sucked and was pretty inaccurate, especially him having supernatural powers! WHO I ENVISION PLAYING THE NEXT VERSION OF ANTI-HERO (JONAH HEX) IN A MOVIE & MORE:
Now I still envision actor star (JASON ACKLES) to play the character role of anti-hero (Jonah Hex) in a movie, and I hope that I do get to see him playing (Jonah Hex) someday.
Now I imagine the version of (Jonah Hex) that is being played by actor star (JENSEN ACKLES) he is gets his fortune read, and I imagine the mysterious Fortune-Teller reveals to (Jonah Hex) that one day he will be sent into the future.
To add I imagine a scenario in which (Jonah Hex) gets transported into the future, in a unique type of way, and the way I imagine it is that he is trapped in a school house, after he had successfully rescued the kids from it when it was burning, and so I imagine that while he was trapped inside all of a sudden a mysterious light came upon him.
In addition I imagine then a few minutes later the mysterious light started doing something, and what it did was it transported him into the far future, and to add I imagine that the ones responsible for transporting him from the past into the future.
Now I imagine the individuals who are responsible for taking (Jonah Hex) from his time, they are a group of alien beings who worship (Lord Darkseid) & they didn’t mean to get JONAH, they were really trying to target someone else, but they miscalculated, and these tried to manipulate (Jonah Hex) into working for them in order to try to make good out of a bad outcome, but JONAH said no to their offer.
In addition when the evil alien individuals tried to capture JONAH HEX, so that they could do brainwashing to him, and boy did they pay the price for trying to mess with him, and to add I imagine that while (JONAH) was escaping he came across a prisoner who was still alive, and she helped him with learning to what he needed in order for him to be able to get off the planet:APOCALYPSE.
Plus to add I imagine a few hours later while (JONAH HEX) is traveling through space with his female alien ally, the two come across SUPERMAN, and BATMAN, and I imagine that both of the heroes help guide JONAH to where he, and his lady ally can find the planet:EARTH.
