Hi James, POV are a good idea to show car drivers what you can and cant see while you are driving a truck , have a safe week at work James and wishes to the family 👍👍👍🚛
It actually is so sick. To see people driving where I live. Love the content James. Be seeing you on the roads I’ll be sure to give u a wave and a flash 🤌🤌
Am I the only man-child that got excited about the crane POV, and even more giddy about the popup monitor in the dash?! The POV looks mint, I like how to red glow hits everything, takes away the drab dash look. LEDs in the footwell would add to the Feng Shui in there IMO.
Haha cheers Gary, really happy you enjoyed it bud! By the looks of things I’ll be doing a lot more POV if people are enjoying it 😁👍 The pop up monitor in my truck is one of my favourite things 😂 and I would get the footwell LEDs but they would get destroyed unfortunately 😂 cheers mate!!
Yes i now the river dart bridge on the way to dartington from buckfastleigh where you left the a38 at the dartbridge junction From andy in buckfastleigh
Been going through a rough time lately I can't lie and recently I've been getting into trucks. I've been binge watching all of your content. Please keep it up James, thank you so much for the vlogs. I really thoroughly enjoy them. W x
Saw your most recent DVSA vid pop up on my recommended, loving the channel so far. Truckers will ALWAYS have my respect. As a motorcyclist (I don't even drive a car), anything that big scares me a bit on the road but christ, I definitely wouldn't wanna be going down those country lanes in a truck! lmao. Also, while I already respect blind spots of large vehicles, the POV really does show how little you see out the left hand side. What a madness
Hey James I used to drive a 40' straight truck myself here in the states, with a 72' hiab knuckle boom with jib delivering roof materials to the roof. I miss running that truck. We don't use stub nose trucks over here so I had about maybe 6-7' sticking out front unlike you guys in the UK.
Hi James, Just came across your video, I'm and ex class 1 HGV driver thinking of coming back to the UK again I noticed on your dash display it having your current driving hours which is such a great thing, I wondered tho do all the newer trucks have that system in the dash in the UK now as I remember always having trouble keeping a correct I on my driving hours and something I was worried about coming back into driving as I know VOSA are more stricter than 10 years ago
Hi mate yeah it’s a very handy feature! That’s awesome that you’re thinking of coming back to it 😁👍 yes you can check exactly how much driving etc you have done on either your dash or your tacho machine. 😁👍
Hi,I've just found this video this morning as I live in South devon and for some reason I'm sure I know your face from somewhere(not here lol)🤷♂️used to I've the river dart Bridge quite often to go to Tigley,I personally love seeing this sort of pov especially the smaller roads to see how you and others deal with it,I watch alot of truckers vlogs including trucker jay in the uk and he got pulled by them and the bloke was a knob to jay unfortunately, great video and I'll subscribe as I leave🙂👍
Hi mark cheers for your comment mate 👋 That’s awesome, I’d love to know where you recognise me from mate 😁 glad you enjoyed the POV mate much appreciated!
@@TruckinWithJames I'm not sure if it's you just have one of those faces that you think you've seen before or have you driven for any other company in the past🤷♂️👍
When you see a blue not suitable for heavy goods vehicles sign do you just stop and reserve ? Do some drivers not pay attention ? Only ask as I live down one here in Cornwall and the other day a 7.5 tonner drove down and got stuck no idea why he ignored the blue sign unless he wasn't paying attention
I drive a similar vehicle. It’s mainly experience, but it comes quickly. Starting out you do scape your wing mirror, especially down tight lanes, but after a while you get comfortable with the vehicle and its size. Very similar to tight turns, you quickly learn how your vehicle turns and swings around and can make very tight turns confidently.
For sure it’s experience mate, but also all the mirrors help massively! Once you’ve driven a vehicle for a certain amount of time, the width of it becomes second nature 😁 glad you enjoyed the video mate!!
I am surprised he can see anything with all that crap at the top of his windscreen all illegal then you have all the stupid lights in the back of the cab
Huge part of UK roads only good for horse and buggies such a undeveloped country, feel sorry for them ...rest of the world developing much faster and UK trapped in the past.
The Tesco driver was a LEGEND!No messing about and reversed quickly !
Yes he was a proper driver you want to meet in the countryside!!

@@TruckinWithJames I enjoyed driving it most of the time. You guys have a lot more tiny roads then us though.

Cornwall, in August, on a friday
Oh damn not a good time to be in Cornwall
I'm a big fan of @truckertim.its nice to find a trucking vlog in my beautiful county
New sub,
You can also get out of cornwall on the a39,through bude

They’re only there for precaution mate, it’s just a warning. Been down loads of roads which are perfectly fine and some that are definitely not fine 😂
The word from up north bloody 😂the bloody
😂😂😂😂
Love POV'S

Love the pov. How do you judge how far away you are from things on the left, you have a reference point or is it just experience?
I drive a similar vehicle. It’s mainly experience, but it comes quickly. Hi Susan!! Im currently in the midst of getting some more in stock, Will be ready in the next couple of weeks!
I love Cornwall.
So do I 😁👍
Are you by chance in a hire truck at the moment? Sure I saw you again today in cheddar
No not in a hire truck bud, I’ve been in Cornwall today!!
like the personal view
Thanks you 😁👍
Defo have a wooly hat of you bud 😜
James changed your team please to Manchester United 😊😊😊😊😊
No can do mate!!
Somerset Devon and Cornwall roads are a joke. We have wider farm roads in the Philippines
Here in England we do not have or drive "trucks" that would be in America. What we have are "LORRY" drivers.
That’s so cool, I wish I could drive lorries but we have trucks 🤷♂️
I am surprised he can see anything with all that crap at the top of his windscreen all illegal then you have all the stupid lights in the back of the cab

most uk roads are fine, but for sure there are too many unsafe roads for trucks!
