She was talented and beautiful. She aged so gracefully. That gray hair was beautiful and didn't age her one bit.

Amazing how much I miss Ms. Wilson already. It's only been a couple of days and she had not been in the public eye as much as prior in this last decade but, that speaks to the impact she made on my life. Her existence here on earth was truly felt. I am truly saddened by her passing. I will celebrate her life and reflect on these interviews and her musical performances for as long as I am alive. I send my condolences to Ms. Wilson's family. May she R.I.P.

Many Wilson was a natural woman whom did not dye her hair nor wear wigs she spoke well there didn’t seem to be false butts false breast false lips 👄 nor heavy makeup 💄 she was a natural positive image person our Black kids especially could be safe to emulate her style and behavior It’s ironic that positive images and people R no longer promoted now adays until they pass away I give Nancy her praise now thank U Nancy U served well. DPitts❤️💕🤙🏾

Class, elegance, beauty, style, real, etc... I attended her "Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame" after party. Such poise and grace shedisplayed. I was blessed to get close enough to tell her that she has remained my favorite artist beyond my grand-aunt Ethel Waters. And how much she favored my mother in looks. She will be missed. My heart hurts and yet prays for her family as they learn to walk on minus Nancy's presence. Thank you for finding your gift and sharing it with all of us Ms. Nancy. -FAB-

Her speaking voice is very much like her singing voice. Even if there wasn’t video, you could tell it’s Nancy Wilson speaking. That’s not always the case with vocalists.

I'm 56. My mother had Yesterday's Love Songs/Today's Blues, Hello Young Lovers, How Glad I Am, Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You.
My aunt had her initial release with Cannonball, Now I'm A Woman.
Another aunt had A Touch Of Today.
At 5, I would play Miss. Wilson's albums while waiting for my mother to return home from work. I'm grateful to be an only so I could listen uninterrupted.
Now they've all transitioned and I play all those albums frequently, wistfully and lovingly.

My uncle Rusty Bryant gave Ms Wilson her start back in the day. She and my mother sang with his orchestra a lot before his career got started. My mother was Barbara McCarroll. He once told the story of Ms Wilson wanting to go with his band to California, but there wasn’t any room in the van with all of the equipment. She was upset. About half way through the trip they kept hearing noises in the back of the van. He pulled over to see what it was and discovered that Nancy had hid behind the drums. So they had to take her with them. The rest is history.

Nancy is a great scatter, when she wants to scatt. Her repertoire was all tailored to fit her vocal creativity. She always improvised according to her signature styling. I can never not speak to her beauty and natural disposition. Her aging was refined better than the choicest wine. She defined beauty in its most natural form. She was 15yrs my senior, and I will always crush on her, even in her death. Her hair is so beautiful in this interview. Her skin is beautiful beyond the brush of any artist. No earthly hands can ever be creative enough to duplicate what heaven has perfected. Y'all better leave me alone while I'm crushing 😍 on Nancy. 😅😂
