I totally can relate to this. I am at work because I work there. So I like to get my work done. But others think it is a spot to socialize all the time without getting their work done. I am not very into suprises, I have my social life quite well aranged. Every monday I met my mother, on thursday a gaming group, every two weeks on friday another gaming group and once a month I met a pal for wargaming. These are all real meetings not online-stuff. So overall I met family or friends 2,5 times per week. My husband thinks that is not enough and I should go out more. He is a extrovert. Why is it always introverts have to change? Do we ever say extroverts should change? No we don´t. You may have it your way, I have it my way.
on "Why is it always introverts have to change?", totally, right? That statement from the start make it sound like there's something with introverts. I just started embracing my introvertness, if that's a real word, for good. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Loved this. I had to share an office aften a return from extended sick leave and I could not focus at all. People drove me mad and I did feel like I was in a zoo. I was made redundant 6 months later and that was my best day ever as it meant I could take up self employment and not have to share my work space ever again!. I hate socialising and am so relieved when an event is cancelled.
@picking4profit Totally get that! Sharing a workspace can feel like pure chaos for introverts. That redundancy sounds like a blessing in disguise-it gave you the freedom to do your own thing and stay in your own space. I hope to be self-employed someday too. And yes, the joy of a canceled event? Absolute gold. Sometimes I secretly hope for the same with our neighborhood get-togethers. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel ❤️ - I love connecting with people... as long as it’s online! 😄
