    Really spectacular!!!
    These types of patterns are wonderful, just as you have tied it. In certain areas of Spain, the wings and the hackle are tied with Leon's hen (It is the hen of the Leon's rooster or Coq de Leon), it is a very difficult feather to find, but the result is spectacular, very similar to yours. Congratulations!!!

    Hi George, in these dark and dismal days I have been continually watching out for your posts whilst look back over your previous ones. Always enjoy them, the most recent included. Can I ask though, where do you get your coloured indicator nylon from for the nymphing leaders? Wishing you and yours a Happy Christmas and better 2022. all the best

    Out of interest George what tippet do you use for nymphs and dries ? what brand? And what floatant for your dry flies

    • @springerspanielful
      @springerspanielful  2 года назад +1

      I use the old maxima ultragreen,a little bigger in diameter than a lot of the more modern tippet,but reliable,I use gink as floatant.

    great tying point.. do not make your flies thick and "over dressed".. naturals are thin and delicate
