Quite a few years ago my late angling companion Allan and I started experimenting with spinner patterns using bodies of Veniards Firebrand floss, red or orange, completely overlaid with horsehair, spent blue dun hackle point wings, a single red hackle turn behind and a single turn in front of the wings - we had many fine trout using this pattern. Great videos George, thanks. GeoM
Just watched this again George to remind myself how you tie it,I have had loads of success with fly, probably one of my all time favourites,Hope your keeping well bud ,Paul
Good evening ,finally we have recived enuff rain fall to put current back in our streams here in Pennsylvania USA, I HAVE HIGH HOPES OF SUCCESS with your super spinner pattern we get bwo's in the spring and also mid fall here ,so in a month or so they will start hatching again so looking forward to trying this pattern I tied up 4 dozen to start but I have a gut feeling I'm guna burn through those 4 dozen! Thanks for the PATTERN
Hi George, thanks for getting back to me. Are there any shops in your part of the world where I could get the materials for the wing and the ultra wire? Looked over here in the UK and can't find the colours anywhere.
Good morning George, it is very kind of you to make the offer. I am wary of sending you details because of a bad experience I had last year. If you could give me some indication of the make of the materials I can try to source them through my local fishing shop who are still operating on-line. I do appreciate you help. kind regards

Beautiful little fly George. I tie something similar but with a hackle quill instead of dubbing and wire ... cheers - Shaun
