- This is my sons new Apollo RFZ 125cc X18. This is a 2021 with the new stronger frame. This bike kicks over first kick, takes a bit to warm up but once it does it runs strong all day long. We have only taken this bike riding one time so far but after the season we will do a long term review. He is coming from a Tao Tao db14 110cc. i got one of these a few months ago, have been loving it, but the idiots who shipped it lost half the parts i needed, it was missing the front wheel axle, left foot peg, shifter, gas cap and i had to order those parts seperately and wait longer for those to show up, did that happen to you? the bikes awesome! i race motocross and this bikes a great little ripper around the yard but those no life delivery screw balls dont know what thier doing, i got some road rash on my bike too btw lol! oh i forgot to mention, for the carb upgrade you want the Mikuni vm22, i got that and it woke the bike right up! thats the one you need :D im a tiny girl, 5'2 and 99 pounds and it wanted to pick the front wheel up in 3rd gear lol!
I purchased the bike already assembled and it was damaged in transit. Sorry you had a bad experience. Don’t know if this bike is worth the headache
@@SeanSR ohhh no no it definatly is worth it, trust me once i got the parts and got it together its held up since and still going strong lol, i hope i dident give you the wrong idea haha its just the dumb delivery service that sucks, but the bike with the upgraded carb is awesome! :)
what jets are in that carb
@@kyushka. I honestly have no clue, i never opened it up before lol, it runs good with just a little a adjustment to the idle mixture screw and it was good to go and haven't had any problems since :)

yall need to mess with the idle and when you warm it up you need to be lightly revving it the whole time,but its idle is way to high and i can hear it idling high and low at times its supposed to be quiet as hell with no revving.

I googled it! Went with the cheapest one I could find. All these chineese sites are the same. As far as the difference I dont know bought the x18 cause it has a clutch for my son.

No, your bike is running lean. I bought a 27$ replacement carb off Amazon. Search china pit bike carb on RUclips and watch some vids of people upgrading carb and jetting. When you get these bikes dialed in they are amazing. Good luck.

Might want to search how to jet your carburetor. I know the stock carbs can be replaced with something cheap off Amazon.
When I drive slow. I hear a noise from countershaft. I can't find anything wrong with. Except, the shaft can move in and out just a little. No wobble. No noises from bearings. Just in, and out. Is normal?

It’s been awesome. Had a problem with the carb cause the stock one is not made to be taken apart or adjusted but for like 30$ you can buy one off Amazon or eBay.
Sean SR.... do you have rear shock clanking? My rear shock clanks real bad.. any recommendations to fix it
Sorry but my sons rear shock is good, no clanking. I would check the bushing and make sure everything is tight!

It’s a good starter bike if you already ridden a semi auto. Once you get the clutch down you should be fine.

I have no clue. Sorry. You could google it, I’m sure there is tons of factors. Like bike running to lean or rich, conditions your riding in, type of fuel your using etc…

The carb gummed up by the end of the riding season last year, ordering a new carb off of amazon. They are like 20$ shipped! My son loves this bike but he is getting to big for it already.
