Hehehe, told you it was a Mystery box 🤣. May have another Mystery box in the near future 😮, and as you would say Happy RCing 😅
Thanks so much my friend, loved opening and going through this one 😅
To funny.
All awesome stuff. Caleb has the plow on his crawler. Plows the deck off. Servo controlled.
Haha that’s awesome 😎
30:33s. I’ll be taking my dark green Mercedes TGX-10 nitro out for a good clean and its first run of the summer tomorrow. Today was spent cleaning my Wild Willy, which I bought as a 17yo schoolboy in 1985… With a Techniplus controller 😊. I wonder if I go poke around in my mums attic if I might find that very catalogue as well. ❤❤❤ my TAMIYA.
The Futaba Magnum was the race radio to have back in the day. It was one of the first with all the end point adjustments, dual rate, wheel angle adjustment, sub-trim and all that! If you can't find a manual online for it let me know and can scan mine and send it to you! The FP-R102JE receivers you have are for that radio.
Fantastic information thank you 😊
Very cool box of parts, really like the vintage car books.
Love your enthusiasm..and a few nice items for your collection.😎
Those Tamiya books are awesome. Brings back so many great memories of cool cars.
I had a magnum junior as a kid still have it that magnum is just gorgeous!!! One of my favourite childhood memories is going into toyworld and going through the tamiya catalogues not many publications were made so beautifully back in the day! Snow plow would look good on my midnight pumpkin chrome edition! thanks 🙏👍
Wow 😲 absolutely awesome mate 👌 lucky you 😁
Wow, what a random assortment of RC stuff!! I love the Futaba Magnum AM set, I've actually got a similar set but the FM version. I sold it years ago, then I got gifted it back this year which was totally awesome!! Brilliant video, love those Tamiya guide books!!
That’s some awesome stuff there Glenn….love the old skool Magnum
Follow your passion and more will come!
That huge futaba was the ultimate radio back in the day!$$$$$
Wow! Better than Christmas day! Go to 29 min 55 sec, the rally cars in the guide book, and then the next few pages of on road cars, incredible! As you said, I think you need a separate video on the guide books! Please!
You’re so into that Futaba Magnum radio you definitely need to get an Airtronics XL2P! It was my main radio back in the day and I still love looking at it and playing with it.. it’s artwork.
Wow, what a box of goodies. Loving the old tech. Mega cool!! I am only half way through the video but wanted to drop a comment now as I am emersed in this video. Those brushed motors too 😍
That Magnum AM in spec was actually the second tier of Futaba high spec radios with the FM 1024 PCM version being the top dog but basically the same design either was a dream radio for me at the time.
Awesome info 👊🏼
The part in there for the Noble I believe is a wall mount. You can then slide the transmitter into there and display it. Lots and lots of other great stuff in there! I am with you and could look through those books over and over again! That was a load of great stuff!!!
Yes he confirmed it is indeed a wall mount my friend 😅
@@TAMIYALegends I was confused at first but then it clicked to what it was! Great haul Glenn!
Those HUDY F1 tires are awesome! I have been trying to get a set for ages, they are hard to find at a reasonable price. Great score there Glenn!
Goodies galore!!!!!!! I bet you had a blast opening that box mate! The Guide books are super awesome! Just Wow! I bet you didn't know what to look at first opening that Box Glenn! Some lovely brushed motors in there as well!
That Magnum radio is gorgeous that's epic!
Love the stickers also
I remember having some of those little stickers of the cars back in the day!
What a fantastic box of treats to receive! Well done to that guys what a star!
Great vid my friend.
Love these videos 😍👌 congratulations Glenn👍
G'day Glenn you got some awesome stuff the Futaba magnum radio I can remember the pro's using them they are like a 27 meg 4PK of the 90's would be awesome to have in your collection mate cool video bro👍👍
Lovely bit of random RC goodness 😍
Haha isn’t it just Rob 😎👊🏻
I think it's time for a Super Clod build with that snow plow! Get some 4:1 gear reduction boxes and have some fun come the winter 😃
Or I have a few more ideas 🤔😂
Nice score there Glenn. Those Tamiya guide books and catalogue are awesome. Back in around 87-88 I scored a couple of those small stickers, the Striker and the Mustang. They are still on a mirror in my old room at my folks place.
Hey Glenn! The lights are for running on your chassis. Depending on what kind of chassis like the Tamiya orv you can run them underneath. It's super cool when you run your rc at night. It just glows. Lol
Toyota,(Ceeeel 'ika')Celica. Like (CELL)PHONE.😂😂 super cool video and goodies
What a cool mishmash of stuff!
When I raced oval in the 90s everyone had 'the brick' which was the Futaba Magnum PCM1024. It had even more dials than the AM!
If I had to guess, it looks like that T-max motor is Yokomo based.
Great vid Glenn!
Excellent thanks for leaving a comment 🤩👊🏻
The tamiya Spoiler is for the Mustang Cobra SVT
The Magnum is the old top of the line Futaba. Really nice.
Nice bit of parts there :D
Fantastic information thank you 😊
@@TAMIYALegends I was looking for an "unknown" wing a week ago, and had to thrawl through some tamiya wings/H-sprues, the odd shape of the sides on the mustang wing kinda remained in my memory from that. Someone had stuck a 99 subaru wing onto a Is200 body I had, and I fits super nice, so I had to figure out what wing it was. ;D
That was fun.
oh my god.... the peak to peak device goes between your charger and nicad pack...... it drains the cells to their lowest capacity the charges them to the top capacity...........
I would say the flysky noble piece might be a stand for it. Curiosity shop vid :-) Lovin it.
Excellent thanks for watching 😊
The futaba magnum radio are excellent, and super smooth operating radios
Fantastic 😊😊😊
@@TAMIYALegends you’ll love it if you do decide to use it. And these days there’s not really any interference in signals like there used to be using am or fm radios
If your going to build your mountain rider that’s now plough would be perfect 😊
Christmas in July 😊 lucky you 🎉
Hi, very nice Magnum (did not know there was a AM version). Strangely, with the same code, they are also called Megatech (outside US ?). There's also a FM version FP-T2PDF and the top of the line FP-T3PB Magnum (or Megatech...) PCM 1024. The latter I think is from around 1990 (+- 1 year) and is incredible with even more potentiometers, switches and buttons; I'm lucky to have one now (as I had one in my "youth") 😊
The snow plough will be great in winter
Haha yeah I definitely have to get that fitted to something for winter 🥶
Peak chargers used to be used to get the absolute tip-top out of your batteries. After their main charge they got five minutes on the peaking machine to fill our the bits the big charger missed. Allegedly anyway. It was another go-fast bit for racers and the very few times I did race I stole my mates' peak machines. I think the difference would've only ever been psychological, but that's just an assumption as I'm no electrical engineer. I know this is really late and that someone's probably written it lower down. I just leave it here for those that were wondering in case they missed the 6 other explanations 😀😀😀
i would be very interested to see you use that old radio in a future vid and see how it performs , it just looks way more cool than the modern one i use haha
Must have been from Socal, Orange or something, live near Ultimate Hobbies, its been around since the ninties. Those Futabas were the shit when they came out, also that Novak RX. Cool come up. Good RC'n
Those little tamiya stickers look awsome, dont think ive seen them before, very cool to have in your collection 👌
Yeah don’t think I’ve seen them before 😎👊🏻
I just bought the same radio and I use the crap out of it. It is wonderful. The radio has so much customization, but it does not like the Hobbywing 1060. I can't get a good setup for the ESC. The 50/50 or 70/30 throttle dose not like the ESC dead zone.
Good Morning!
Good morning 😊👊🏻
The futaba radio was indeed a pretty high quality transmitter. The only one i can think of that might have been cooler was the ko-propo ex-1 mars.
The little Tamiya stickers are my favourite. The Egress one is so cool
Thanks buddy 😎
I think Zack was trying to hint at you trying to get you into crawlers.
Those first tires ( not the F1 tires) look like from an old Jerobee car....... or some very old RC brand
Thanks buddy 😅
I’ve never seen the controller before but used too seen them in videos all the time back in the day.
Yeah it’s a really cool handset 😊
that took me back
gr8 magnum radio
Those tires are for crawlers and there is an actual company called falcon that they are based on that it allowed to be made in their image.
Think that’s a snow plough attachment
The wings and mirrors look like theyre from an sn95 mustang cobra kit
I bid on a lot of tamiya catalougues hoping to find the one with the top force evolution that started my love for the top force and tamiya.
Its the middle of summer...why in the world are you wearing a hoodie
I have a picture of me as a child with a classic tamiya if I could some how send you the picture would u be able to tell me what the model was or is pls I’d love to try get one again nostalgia
Lol
mirrors and spoiler look very porsche 911 to me and i would say the light bars are like you say under car lighting
Mustang SVT cobra.
Thanks buddy 😊
The lights are under car under glow lights
Traxxas is eyeing that brushed motor-- Litigation to follow😂😂
Omg can I buy a sticker assortment
I think it's a wall mount
Anyone know if the tmax motor is worth anything
