    This was my favorite part of the campaign. We didn't even know anything about Vladmir, but running through the Paris streets with all the chaotic sound around Dima muffled with this song playing, with Dima and Kiril chasing after the nuke even though they were gonna die.
    This was a very powerful moment in my opinion.

  • @astr0hax173
    @astr0hax173 4 года назад +204

    This sound makes you feel so numb..
    Perfect for Vladimir's death, how everything fades, your target is that douchebag and the nuclear case. Revenge.
    And once you realize the nuke isn't in there, it's all the more devastating, as you hear nothing but the nuke going off.
    Mastermind of a campaign, honestly. Left me speechless.

    "Radiation is like life, a uniquely damaging event. Perhaps i will live another 30 years. Perhaps i will die tomorrow. I am telling my story here. the story of how Solomon used power hungry men like Al Bashir and Kaffarov to set fire to the world. And the American Marine. Who like me, Chose the hardest path of all. But i have no regrets. I have always served Russia trying to make a difference. Sometimes i was forced to make, difficult decisions. Many lives have been saved. Many have been lost. I am certain moscow does not view it in the same light as i do. But enough is enough. As Vladimir would always say, you can only die once. Make sure it is worth it." ~Dima
    Battlefield 3 had one of THE BEST campaigns i have ever seen in a shooter. everything just seems kindaa copy paste now. BF3 had a unique campaign, and you actually felt connection to the characters and the weight of what was happening. The sound track is fantastic and really adds to the story. You couldn't see plot twists coming and voice acting was phenomenal. over all a 10/10 in my books and i dont just slap a 10 on anything i like. i sincerely enjoyed the campaign and would play it back 100 more times.

To stop the Paris Bombing, because if the bomb went off, NATO would blame Russia meaning war, which the GRU was trying to prevent, so, really both stories are on the same side just without either of them knowing till the end

    I’m here because I heard a rendition of this on Battlefield 2042 and I was transported back to this place in time. I think I was in high school when BF3 came out, logged more hours on that game than any game I’ve ever played.
    When I first played the campaign after a lot of online, I loved it. This moment tho. I’m not sure anything has ever made me feel like the character more than this. My stomach dropped. I was devastated. Between the mysic and shell shock effect, I felt I really witnessed a friend die. And the revenge I wanted after
    This is one of video game history’s most masterfully crafted “feels” moment. I miss the old DICE

    Vladimir was my first friend who died in front of my eyes, this game is more than just a game. When I was a kid ı was not that smart for the death but when I grow up it making so much sanse; the music played in the back and a friend who death at your hands is really so much for me when I was a kid.

    It's supposed to do that, why do you think at the beginning of Comrades, Blackburn says, "He didn't stop it."
    Dima was supposed to go after the Paris nuke, and Blackburn was supposed to go after Solomon.
    A lot of movies start at the end, then go to the beginning, then progress to the end again, then the conclusion.

    This track captures the essence of warfare in the modern age. The passive bass ringing in the background is menacing, reverberating; I imagine a massive helicopter, the bass being the swinging of it's blades. The sharp high 'beeps' that fade are like bullets whizzing past. There is a numbing sound, maybe it's my helmet, or maybe it's the sheer noise of 2 .50 cals of the helicopter and utter mayhem below it.
