You are right about that! Especially when it comes to South Florida. The elevation is only 6 feet which means trains cannot be built underground. And this has only occurred because of so many torrential rain storms that has happened here. And don't even get me started on this Aventura Station. You will LITERALLY walk 20 minutes from the mall to the station (especially if it's hot with high humidity). And there is no walkway to connect from the station to the mall. Brightline should definitely fix that, but otherwise, it's a great train company!
@@bernardfriedman532The shuttle for Brightline's Aventura station to the mall could be a little better. They used to have tracking for it, but these days it is so patchy. It is great for station to the mall, but very uncertain for mall to the station.
@@bernardfriedman532 Actually, I just looked at the website and now it says this. The shuttle leaves the station at :15 and :45 after the hour. It leaves the mall stop at :00 and :30 after the hour.
@@bernardfriedman532 They are going to build a covered elevated walkway between the station and the mall. Probably in the permitting state. The station was designed to accommodate it. If you notice the low level platform at Adventura next to (south of) BL's high level. The South Florida Transit agency plans to build Northeast corridor commuter rail there too (2026?) hence the low-level platform. No word on who will operatate it (Tri-rail)?
What's up, man! I'm glad that you had fun traveling to Orlando. The video reminded me about the LYNX Bus ride on Route 350 from Disney Springs to LYNX Central Station. BTW, have you heard about the new Tri-Rail Shuttle service from Metrorail Transfer Station to the MiamiCentral (located inside the Brightline Station).
What’s up man! Yes, I did heard the new Tri Rail Shuttle (or Gold Line) has opened between Metrorail/Tri Rail Station and MiamiCentral Station. It is about time! I’ll take a train ride from there soon. Also, I heard there is a long skybridge that connects between Metrorail Government Center and MiamiCentral Station.
@@HOUExplorer Joel Franco mentioned it on his Tri Rail video. ruclips.net/video/tZ1Llo03tWI/видео.html&pp=ygUUZnJhbmNvIG1pYW1pIHRyaXJhaWw%3D For some reason, the connection is not mentioned by either Metrorail or Metromover.
This is the best video I have watched about train travel between Miami and Orlando. You did a wonderful job of making the video long and showing details about the entire trip. Children and even adults were too noisy but this is not your fault but the parents . Brighlgline needs to offer a quiet car or enforce its own rules.
It was great and looked forward in riding the train between Miami and Orlando. I’ll soon have the return trip from Orlando to Miami (I did a small tour of the Orlando Station).
Excellent video! We will be taking the Brightline from Miami to Orlando in a few months. This video has helped me 'get my bearings' for this trip. Thank you!
I hope brightline and others continue to expand rail in the country and maybe to even light rail or trolleys in cities and towns so we can reduce car usage and get rid of these huge parking lots, roads and highways.
Thanks for the video man, I've been wanting to see a video of Brightline from Miami to Orlando. But why were you skipping through some parts of the video?
Thanks. I had to skip some parts because it was mostly trees and empty lands in between West Palm Beach and Orlando. But I do have several full ride videos between Miami and West Palm Beach.
Although I do think the Brightline extension should have run through Downtown Orlando instead of the airport (considering it connects the Downtown areas of all the other places it runs through e.g. Miami, Fort Lauderdale & West Palm Beach - although if SunRail opens to the airport with a direct Downtown Orlando connection, it would be a good compromise for that) before later running to the Convention Center, the theme parks (Universal & Disney) & eventually Tampa, its still nice to see a modern intercity railway like this being developed in the USA. And looking at some of the modern facilities the train has, train companies back here in the UK could definitely take note of that (especially the on board service & reliability). But anyway, great video & analysis and greetings from across the pond in England.
DIsney World really ought to consider extending their monorail line so that it connects with Brighline when it is eventually extended from the airport station through the Orlando region before it reaches Tampa.
Wonder what the train announcement is saying and this RUclips is certainly not gonna tell you. I like the little bit of info printed at the bottom of the screen---- it is too short but at least present.
I don't understand all this music copyright syndrome crap on RUclips videos or any other platform lately. Everybody seems to have become outraged and overly sensitive which leads to greedy. Lawsuits everywhere over any little thing. How putrid will this world become before it's all finished ??? 🙄
If you are trying to relax on this train I don't think it's possible. Seems to be a lot of chatter going on. You also need to have a face mask with you in case a persistent cougher is sitting behind or near you.
Father who made this RUclips knows nothing about evaluating travel. Show how much room there is behind the seat fully laid down and then where's the tray table Lord can you open your laptop computer or does it hit the full back? Those are the things you wanna know about the comfort of seating that really matters. 2---1 otherwise or two two seating otherwise looks like a bus.
P.S. This might be the best Brightline to Orlando video. It's nice to see you riding Brightline once again :)
Agreed
I never would've predicted Florida of all places to have something as good as the brightline. Great work!

I think it would be good to see the entire expansion of the bright line train ride from Orlando to West Palm Beach.

Nice video. I've ridden this train WPB to MCO, but always with my noise cancelling headphones on. I like to be in my own private Idaho.😊
Does Miami Central have the same X-Ray scanner for your luggage as the Orlando station?
You and I both.

Would it be possible to make a video of a brightline ride from Orlando to Miami
Yes. I will have that up in a few weeks.
Nice! Did you got to ride Broward County Transit Bus, during your stay?
Thanks! No but I rode Miami-Dade Transit new bus routes (Better Bus Network).
I'm spanish and I love trains but our trains are subsidized and the bill is crazy high.. I hope Brigthline to be profitable..😊
