i don't know about all of this "Services" Stuff. Really seems like just gathering Data from the consumer and not letting the consumer own their home appliances?
The app is at best at telling me when my dryer and washer loads are done, I will never pay for that, and then tracking my facial expressions, big no thanks
Hey LG - Turn that transparent TV into something useful, IE a heads up display for glasses so we can wear augmented reality all the time. Google glass was just the beginning.
A robot only needs to resemble a maid to feel healthy. Every time I forget to turn on the washing machine, forget to turn on the rice cooker, forget to turn off the TV, turn off the computer,... so many things, but when I go out I remember, now I just need to tell him, He can solve everything for me. Then every time I buy an item, electronics or technology, I have to install an app to control and manage it. There are tons of apps like that, throw it all over for him to manage for me, just tell him if you need anything. My phone feels so much lighter, I also have less headaches. Those things are very practical and useful. Once you get used to it, surely every family must have such a robot in the house, both a family member, a friend, a maid, a housekeeper... in the true sense and very practically.
God that nauseating new Apple style has pervaded every announcement or show. Its like theyre reading from a script. Can we have genuine presentations interacting with the audience again?
This is discusting.... When the quality of the products has fallen so low.... We don't need fancy AI to tell us how to loundry or lower the tv volume when someone is asleep.
I believe the micro lens are one of the reasons why your eyes are more tired after watching something on your smart phone. The short focus distance is obviously a well known reason, but I believe the micro lens are the other reason. Because it focuses the light. Like a laser which isn't bright can hurt your retina because it's focused.
What happens if you buy one of these trash washing machines and cancel the subscription does it shut you off from using it What a distopyian he'll scape buying premium products you don't own
Why do executives submit to getting on stage, reading from a prompter in a language they probably never are going to master, while making unnatural gestures that make me think the sound is out of sync?
It is like an echo chamber for lg It is sad as lg holds patents for rollable tvs which could be used in everything from watches to laptops to phones With some of this tech you have to wonder why ? Why do i need an ai assistant when i have a dog and it cant climb stairs like most robots What they dont understand is customers hate subscriptions for everything, i hate subscriptions for eveything With the car it was pointless you are going to be doing some online shopping and crash the car Where is the practical side of this tech as when are these companies going to live in the real world where we are not going to have an lg fridge and dishwasher Lg have some cool tech with there rollable screens that could be used in every device with a screen They are becoming like the xerox parc of tech
LG 2024: Lifes a subscription
You win the internet today! That is an awesome phrase. Get 5c every time someone uses it.
A dystopian nightmare
Can't wait to pay for laundry even though I already own a washing machine.
“Your car has been disabled because your Lg subscription has expired. Please contact customer service for assistance.”

I would like to use those OLED-T's as my windows in my apartment.
AI Agent: "How do you feel today?"
Me: "How about you leave me alone, I'm trying to relax in my home, bro."
A subscription do laundry 😂. No wonder this company is slowly dying
They actually tried to put AI into a laundry machine…
*dies from cringe*
If my washer turns off mid-cycle cause I'm late on a bill, imma be pissed
The app is at best at telling me when my dryer and washer loads are done, I will never pay for that, and then tracking my facial expressions, big no thanks
My robot is going to snitch on me to LG
A subscription to do your laundry/dishes is CRAZY

Yea this presentation was quite useless
😂

I like Frank Lee. This guy is full of enthusiasm.
Beautiful Oled Tv
Transparent TVs, the things that never made any sense in SciFi movies, now for your living room!
God that nauseating new Apple style has pervaded every announcement or show. Its like theyre reading from a script. Can we have genuine presentations interacting with the audience again?
Subscription service for white goods? Get stuffed LG
I stopped listening after AI, getting so tired of hearing everyone throw AI into the mix. It’s the buzzword of 2023.
Like it or not, AI is the future!
just wait for AI HD and AI 4k to become a thing
Why would anyone want a tranparent tv The whole point of a tv is to look at the screen why the he'll would I want to see threw it
This is discusting.... When the quality of the products has fallen so low.... We don't need fancy AI to tell us how to loundry or lower the tv volume when someone is asleep.
UCES 2024: Useless consumer electronics
All i can hear is, we will sell even more of your private information.
kinda crazy to see the iPhone as the choice for showing a phone connection now that LG doesn't make phones
Omg yay maybe their ai home robot can show LG some empathy for how dumb this all was… cause I got none…

i am a big tech fan, but honestly, who the f needs all of that, is honestly boring
What happens if you buy one of these trash washing machines and cancel the subscription does it shut you off from using it What a distopyian he'll scape buying premium products you don't own
Oof, about the only practical thing from this LG presentation was the production of EV chargers.
I want the thing robot
All this and they make an app that cant turn on your TV because the network card goes to sleep.
LG's idea of updates are seasonal tunes for the washer/dryer and other useless garbage; as a subscription. Kiss my assistant.
home appliance subscription is a mass fail..
20 yrs for now it's a hologram
Oh boy, here we go again. We saw what happened with their last robot.
“home as a service” made me vomit a little bit 🤢
What are the humans doing on stage?
I don’t care about LG and the Apple Vision Pro literally just stole all the hype from this event
The fall of LG has begun
Bunch of boomer tech, *bring out the 300-500 hz OLED monitors!* 😂
Just what everyone is clamoring for in 2024, ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, but it's your washer dryer or maybe your oven! 🙄 Dead in the water.
As a long time LG consumer; I’m hoping they essentially started from scratch with their smart system.. ThinQ is AWFUL…
It's futuristic
IMO mostly if not all vaporware. Why bother getting excited?
meh....
I still dont understand why anyone would want a transparent TV lol
It's futuristic
I love it since we dont need to have a big black item in our family room.
Why do executives submit to getting on stage, reading from a prompter in a language they probably never are going to master, while making unnatural gestures that make me think the sound is out of sync?
Oh, a subscription to use your own appliance. No thanks.
Why would I have a robot like that in my living space? Useless!!!
It is like an echo chamber for lg
It is sad as lg holds patents for rollable tvs which could be used in everything from watches to laptops to phones
With some of this tech you have to wonder why ?
Why do i need an ai assistant when i have a dog and it cant climb stairs like most robots

Boring
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Everything here was a terrible idea.
LG T will change the world forever
damn LG was hella good
I hope they stop using `affectionate intelligence` for describing AI in their future keynotes
Meh.
Needed a new phone 😂 new V70 😢😢😢
Useless LG presentation. The people wanted to see the 42 inch LG C4 with MLA technology.
LG are digging their grave 🪦
Remember you will own nothing and be happy. - nice dystopia🫤
