im so excited for crash bandicoot. im 14, so my childhood is still happening - i wasnt here for all these games when they came out. its kind of hard navigating all of these elitist reviews saying "oh.. its not as good as the $1000 10ft GFIGH12 handheld, but..." like seriously. this is so real of you honestly. for my first handheld, it seems awesome.
Have you receive it already? How is it so far?
@@unforsaken552 yeah! its pretty good, but you do have to account for me romanticizing it a bit much. it came with a bunch of dupes and uninteresting games i ended up deleting to make more room for the stuff i wanted to play by downloading roms. havent gotten it connected to wifi yet. my favorite thing has been playing DS games, but everything below that runs great. i havent changed the OS, been doing fine, might later on if i see it improves performance on n64 and stuff. skip the android OS, honestly, its not all its talked up to be. n64 is a bit laggy, but fiddle with the settings and it works. i probably could've gotten a slightly better emulator if i waited to save a bit longer, but im satisfied in my position. its great! i always pull it out - way more than i do other handhelds like like the switch lite ive got. best part is that the games are free.

@@unforsaken552 like holding it? its a bit awkward at first but you get used to it in a couple minutes. even friends who've used it say "this is so weird" and then play perfectly normally after about five minutes of holding it.
I’m 30 but I’m so excited to get mine soon.. I can’t wait to play again the games during my childhood specially street fighter Throwback memories!!

Got this and a case with shipping for under $60. Perfect to take to work cause my Switch is too bulky & expensive if something were too happen. My first emulator & its a great little machine to play all these classics from my childhood.
Where did you get yours from? $60 seems a steal for most prices going I've seen
@@dylane1278 Just got mine on Temu, it was $62 and i had a $25 off a $60 order coupon i used and it came out to $37 with free shipping! Sadly i think they are sold out now on Temu all i see are $100+
i have the miyoo mini plus and it has opened my appetite for retro handhelds so if this ever goes on a slight sale i will definitely be getting this one next.

Are they all made by Anbernic? Ive seen the same model so cheap, wonder if there is are knockoff models
Hmmm I've only heard of the V and VS models which are both made by anbernic. Curious to know where you saw the knockoffs though might be an interesting review lol
How are the shoulder buttons? Being side by side does it work well when playing certain ps1 games or whatever makes use of both L1,R1, etc.?
Shoulder buttons work well with all the ps1 and psp games I play. You may have to adjust your finger placement when playing certain games but None really have you use both at the same time like modern day first person shooters. N64 however has a weird mapping which requires you to use R2 as the "Z" button but your finger naturally sits on it so it's no strain
Shoulder buttons are something to be desired, pressing the L1 and R1 are kind of awkward tbh.
Are game saves allowed or always start over?
All game states save on the stock OS! Main reason why I refuse to update
is Pokemon, Tekken and SuperMario Bros pre installed already here in rg353vs?
Pokémon Gold, silver, yellow, crystal and puzzle challenge. Tekken 5 and 6. No Super Mario bros you would need to add that yourself

How many games were on the VS out of the box? I want to buy one for my son and introduce him to the n64
Too many to count lol classic rom dump with most of the games being SNES, Sega and Gameboy titles. N64 had about 8. Also it doesn't come with any Mario games so you'll need to add those yourself
Its horrible for n64 the VS version. Fps drops every 5 seconds
How’s Dreamcast performance? I’ve heard it doesn’t work too well, do you have to switch OS to get Dreamcast to work?
I have the vs model (which is linux only) and dreamcast is stable. I mainly play sports and racing titles and haven't had any issues outside of controller mapping lol. Vs>V and leave it on stock!
been trying to play turok on the n64 but the left analog stick is the camera and idk how to change that. can anyone help?
You can change in turok settings but with every emulator you must change the buttons but it works proper then

Hey bro - I am getting my console today finally!
I downloaded a few Roms on my MacBook. Can I just drag and drop the the memory card that came with it? I got the 64 GB with around 5000 preloaded games. Can I fit like 10 of my own Roms on that?
Or should I buy a new memory card
Finally! You should be able to drag and drop your games with no issues. (Depending on the size of your games)
I just got mine today and there is basically nothing preloaded 😐 I don’t even see psp or PlayStation options Any idea why?
Where did you order from? Some resellers don't send units with games on the SD in fear of copyright lawsuits. Usually when I order my anbernic devices from Amazon they're loaded with games

I understand. Currently playing gamecube through dolphin on my Surface Duo but having a dedicated handheld device is sweeeeeet. It's like adopting a pet... The right device will speak to you then boom you're hooked.
