Will it be possible to install a hybrid system, Oceanvolt 15 with Fischer Panda diesel generator ? But electric engine in waterproof crash box compartment?
We actually installed two Oceanvolts and a 8 kw Fischer Panda on a Sirius 40 DS. The generator is only capable to extend the range, it is not a full hybrid system. But it works very well, the owner just got back from a cruise around the baltic sea (2500 nm) and is very happy with the system.
Of course you can also order a furling mainsail. We have built in Yanmars but they are commonrail diesel-engines and could do this, but do not like the further complication. The engine is also too long for the existing engine compartment and we would need to change it a big

Yes it is. We have installed shaft drives on a couple of boats with lifting keel. But it would make it necessary to change the interior layout a bit, to move the engine a bit forward.
