- Hello all! Today, we do a performance analysis on a Stage 1 tuned (atm chip) Skoda Octavia 2.0 CR DSG (L&K)
Performance gains, BHP, Torque and 0-100 timings analyzed !
Do check with Likwid tuning directly for all your tuning needs!
Update: It is 190 bhp, not 195 bhp (not that it makes much difference :-P)
I also give you all the update on the Kushaq review, which was supposed to go live today...
Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Very useful video many people 😉 doesn't post diesel automatic review with ecu alterations, you have done . Hates off to your passionate work
Thanks so much buddy😊😊
skoda octy diesel....hmm interesting! thanks for the review bro!
Most welcome bro! kutti video only, but useful i hope :-)
@@JRSCars really useful..I was thinking that Octavia's TSI engines were the famous in Tuning culture. Now, coz of you, I'm planning to choose the diesel octy as my first car to stage 1 and daily drive to college...What's your opinion??
@@2jc_gte Go for it bro. You can't beat performance + mileage + reliability (if well maintained) combo in Octy diesels
@@JRSCars Thank you so much bro..😁
Any improvements in mileage? How much is km/ltr in stock vs tuned?
Great video bro.
I too own the same 2019 octavia 2.0 tdi L&K octavia, which is also running on a stage 1 map, but produces 190 hp/400 nm, and i managed to clock 7.37 seconds. Will this stage 1 2.0 tdi outrun a stock 1.8 tsi, as their power figures are almost similar.
Thanks bro.
Interesting question, coincidentally my friend who filmed everything has a 1.8TSI 2018.
He said this felt almost as fast as his, and he's done a 7.00 sprint from 0-100 recorded by the cars performance meter.
So yea, almost as fast, but not yet there :-)
But TDI is a mileage + performance champion!
@@JRSCars bro but if im not wrong, 1.8 tsi clocks 0-100 kmph mark in 7.7 seconds right bro?
That what even I thought bro. But 7 seconds is what the in-built meter said. Shocked him and me as well
You can ping me on insta bro, I'll send the pic
@@JRSCars sure bro, and what would you suggest to extract more power from without upgrading to stage 2 and will stage 2 have any negative effects?
How much will the transmission be affected after Stage 1 tune bro?. Can the the DQ220 take the load (correct me if I'm wrong).
Stage 1 will not do any damage bro, as long as the tuner is capable.
In this case, the car uses a DQ250 gearbox and can easily withstand upto 500 nm of torque safely.
You were referring to the DQ200 on the 1.8TSI, that is rated at 250 nm, but can take 330-350 nm safely and 400 nm at max before grenading itself.
So to answer the question, Stage 1 on TDI won't do anything at all. On TSI, you gotta trust your tuner :-)
@@JRSCars See, this is the reason I always look forward to your videos & replies. The information you give out, no one else does. Shamelessly, I have a follow up question bro, I have a car and no parking in my apartment so its parked on the road, any tips on taking care of it.
Haha, thanks buddy. And no such thing as shameless questions, all questions are questions only :-)
Best solution would be to cover the car (but make sure u use the car everyday, or every 2 days max, else rats will play havoc)
Second option would be to find some shade and park bro
@@JRSCars bro so the 2.0 tdi gets the dq 250 gearbox.? (Sry to disturb u, just a little confused 🥲😅)
@@JRSCars and how much did it cost for stage 1
Bro you can tune you laura a stage 2 with downpipe and Intake which will produce around 200hp if you can add up is 20 or is is38 and changing of intercooler and which will go bonkers will produce around 300hp
Just a suggestion
True buddy. But sadly mine is an old 1.9PD... so stage2 (with downpipe + intercooler) will get me around 160 bhp max.
Also, the Laura is still the long distance family car at home, so maybe in future will do all those mods :-)
Ok bro I just suggested you
@@rithikrajasekar1782 cool bro👍
Fantastic man!! TDI is always ❤️
Couldn't agree more!
@@JRSCars why bro ?
@@digvijayjagtap3776 performance and efficiency
@@JRSCars means ? Millage gets decreased ?
Which DSG version Octavia used? Because if its DQ200 then there will be a reliability issues
This is the DQ250. Only the 1.8 tsi got the DQ200
Those wheels are stunning. Are they OE or aftermarket ? 16 or 17 ?
Aftermarket buddy. They are the wheels from the global mk3 vRS (the pre facelift one)
@@JRSCarsoh! What’s the size and cost ? Any idea ?
Hey bro, again i have a small concern. Does doing a simple stage 1 affect the life of the car and well being of the car? Will it last lesser just by a mere stage 1 ecu remap?
If remap is done properly and serviced as per schedule (or slightly before) nothing will happen bro
Bro you we can face any problem after stage 2 tune ? Octavia 2.0 TDI ?
If done properly and with proper maintenance, all would be fine bro. The tuner also matters
How much mileage drop after tuning bro?
On regular driving, it'll be around the same. Hard driving, 3-4 kmpl drop maximum
Wherd u got alloys?
Bro you said inbuilt performance meter…can you explain how to activate that i cannot find it in mine
Unlocked via vcds bro
@@JRSCars thanks bro, haha silly me
How's revo tune for Octavia diesel
No personal experience with it, check if any customer reviews or personal discussions, you can have with a user
So this is what you meant when you said 2.0 was better, lel xD
Haha yes. You get your moneys worth with it😂
Big fan
😊😊
@@JRSCars I have a superb which is tunned stage 3
By seeing you vedio I tunned it up
Makes about 400 hp 400 nm
Wow bro. Where are you based?
Is the dog having a shit on the porch? 0:10
