    He costs very less to nothing. Get him at United as interim. Promote him to DOF at the end of the season and let him decide the right man for the job because he’ll coach the team in the meantime in the way that would suit the next manager. He’s just brilliant to listen to. Imagine him giving instructions to the United players! Woahhhh!!!

    • @finosuilleabhain7781
      @finosuilleabhain7781 3 года назад

      Who are you talking to? Because the people who matter ain't listening - a DOF with their own mind seems to be the last thing on earth they want.

    The five situation in football:
    1. How we want to play if we have the ball ourselves
    2. How we want to play if our opponents have the ball
    3. What do we do right away after we are losing the ball to our opponent?
    4. What do we do right away after we win the ball?
    5. Set Pieces

    • @OezgeSebisteri
      @OezgeSebisteri 3 года назад +9

      They say he demands a lot of power and control. And he is not the man for short term projects. That why he usually takes smaller teams and turns them into serious competitors. Last year he was considered to be the next Milan coach but they had a good run so they were stuck with the current manager. And a few years ago, just before Flick came, he declined the job at Bayern.

    • @vuongquanpham4501

      He took only more than 5 years to bring Hoffenheim up to 4 divisions lower to Bundesliga. That's freaking crazy! Not to mention what he achieved at Red bull's teams. He's called "professor" in Germany, and Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp, Julian Nagelsmann have all been using his "Gegenpressing" - the unique philosophy invented by Ralf Rangnick himself.

    • @theslugboiii5969

      He's a builder of teams. Look at his work with Ulm, Hoffenheim and Leipzig. He wouldn't be someone that wants to stay as manager of Utd full time but as an interim that can help build a play style and mentality he'll be fantastic.

    Having Rangnick as the DoF would be TRANSFORMATIONAL for United.
    We need people above the manager who know football, and have clear ideas of how to progress the club, Rangnick would be a great option for that.

    Don't know much about this man aside from his influence on prominent German coaches such as Tuchel and Klopp, but from this interview alone I can sense that he is someone who seeks to construct an identity at the teams he supervises, and that is exactly what Ole could not achieve! i am behind him for the next six months, hopefully we see glimpses of a new reformed united as a team that has a vision and a structure!

    He needs TOTAL control in order to shape the club from the inside and out. Hoffenheim gave him that but it is something that the truly big clubs like Bayern and Liverpool or even Chelsea would not. The reason Man United hired him is because the team and the club is in a spot of bother. I would have been intrigued if he was in charge of Aston Villa or Newcastle but they seem to have opted for shrewd operators like Christian Purslow and Dan Ashworth (known for his work at St. Georges Park and more recently, Brighton and Hove Albion in Sussex).

    Rangnick is the real deal. United's Board have made a very good decision to engage him. He has a clear idea of how he wants his Team to play. He mentioned ", rest defense" which means the defender must be marking and already defending in his brain even though the ball is not in his Team's half. Gegenpressing high intensity Football that would put the opposition Team under pressure. The higher up the pitch the press is, the better the chance of scoring. He said that with RB Leipzig, of the about 75 goals scored at a point in time, over 60 goals were scored 10 seconds after they won the ball back! Wow! This man is brilliant! He also knows how to set up and improve the Football administration and management of a Club. Honestly, the United Board has done well by engaging Rangnick. Manchester United are definitely back on track! Maximum respect to all Manchester United fans worldwide.😀🙌

    Out of 18 teams in Bundesliga Div. 1 this season, there are 9 managers who have either have worked/learned under Rangnick. The famous example is Nagelsmann.
    Thomas Reis of Bochum is not included in the 9 managers mentioned above but he has played for Stuttgart’s youth academy as a player in which Rangnick was the program director at the time.
    Adding likes of following managers who worked for Rangnick in the past makes him the godfather of modern football.
    -Schmidt, PSV
    -Jaissle, RB Salzburg
    -Wagner, BSC Young Boys
    -Hasenhuttl, Southampton
    -Tuchel, Chelsea
    Klopp’s relationship with Rangnick is more indirect but the two are both from Stuttgart area and they were connected through the group of football philosophers who admired Helmut Gross, the teacher of Rangnick.
    Most German born players in the Premier League past and today are from Stuttgart academy and there’s a good reason why they are so good at nurturing talent.
