Bare in mind this guy is communicating a complex idea in a foreign language beautifully
Ur comment deserves way more likes
He certainly is
how is this complex? lol please
German intelligence
He used a metaphorical term 'pregnancy' though. That is one way of putting it. That fits your post Lee.
Just hearing a coach speak like he understands what he's on about is so refreshing. United have a serious guy on their hands
🤣🤣🤣
let's see
Me too
Shame it's for only 6 months. Hope we don't bring Poch in after
I think he'd better as director of football.
Not just a coach.....A talk for those who seek excellence in any field....absolutely brilliant
somebody send this video to ole so that he can learn something while he is on holiday
Just listening to him, you know the guy has a vision of the football he will implement in any team. I would like to see this coach in the Premier League.👌
Yes
While Klopp and Guardiola are coaching players, Rangnick is coaching coaches.
Top coach. Would do class for any premier league club.
He is interested in man utd!!
For any Premier league club and one in particular
@@rohit2571 We should get him,let him implement the Gengenpressing
I just love this guy he should come to Manchester United I believe he will bring his own philosophy to the team
As of now, this video has been watched a bit more than 1300 times. Amazing. I thought every United fan had already watched this
Yes love this guy .
this guy is beyond brilliant, i can listen to him speak all day long
HOW CAN YOU HAVE A COACH LIKE THIS AS INTERIM ? I STRONGLY BELIEVE UNITED WILL GIVE HIM THE PERMANENT JOB.
He's perfect for a Director of Football role for United after his interim period ends. A man with such a good footballing brain shouldn't be wasted, and with how abysmal United's current board are, the next manager who arrives in the summer will need the support of someone like Ralf from within the administration if they are to get anything meaningful done.
He is possibly the most perfect individual at the moment who United could've gone to for structural change, now let's just hope they give him the time, resources and control that he needs to do it.
Ralf would make wonders with the current United squad.. The likes of donny, sancho, rashford, bruno, greenwood would turn to absolute beasts
VdB already has that in his DNA the pressing football
The real work would be with Rashford and Greenwood
No dms
Nah everybody's having too much fun watching United fail, it needs to stay that way. They've had their time in the sun🤣
I think his best position is sporting director. He built Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig from scratch and made then into quite good sides. As a coach he has a rather mixed history, happened more than once that he fell out with the players and/or fans
Sure I just hope he came to united
would love to see rangnick managing at a top club, he'd work wonders
He is a pretty good coach thats for sure and tactically very flexible.
Man u
@@tayeebhussain5014 “a little bit of this, a little bit of that ?!”
Walaa Ur dream came true finally coming to United !!
So why hasn't he? He admits he's not cut out for coaching. He finds it too stressful.
The godfather of gegenpressing. Roger Schmidt, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Ralph Hasenhüttl, and Klopp have cited their main coaching influences as Ralf Rangnick. It would be dream to have him at Man United.
yess from my point of view it should be ralf or ten hag
But he is kinda like Conte he needs complete control Utd Hierarchy needs to give that then he will change the club
Tuchel doesn't play his style of football
Clearly not tuchel and nagelsmann, because their main influence is guardiola
Kloppo actually never mentioned Rangnick being his influence, they're contemporaries.
Kloppo's main influence was his own manager at then second division Mainz who has the first man to play 442 and a high pressing game in Germany. The other being Sachi, Milan's manager in the late 80’s early 90’s.
3:55 GOLDEN Quotes
Ralf Rangnick's probable first words in the Manchester United dressing room: "What is a little bit of pressing? It's like a little bit of pregnant. Come on!"
Every word of it is absolutely right by Ralph Rangnik on the different coaching style. Once you know the style of a coach you can say who's the coach of that particular team even which team is playing because it gets imprinted to your mind. Iam so addicted to Jurgen Klopp's heavy metal high pressing & counter pressing game & style that the other football styles just don't get interested even if they play well. You know what type of game you're going to get when Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is going to play win or lose, it'll be attacking football which is pleasing to your eyes.
The most important thing that klopp and guardiola have brought in to football is to get the ball back as soon as you lose it. You can't score without the ball.
That's called high pressing
High press football isnt something invented by Klopp or Pep. They just happen to have the right philosophy during the right era.
High press managers in the 80s/90s were equally if not better than Klopp/Pep.
The only problem for high pressers was that the entire sport of football was geared towards defense. (Italian pivot era)
High press football, Defensive pivot football,
. these are all just genres of football which were effective based on the generation...
Man united needs Ralf Rangnick
One of the most influencial coaches for germany. The godfather of gegenpressing.
Now he's our manager, and he's brilliant so far in 3 games 2 wins and 1 draw.
2 clean sheets
1 goal concided
now also he is good but our team is playing awful not like ole's united but they playing good and need to do better
lol
I could listen to this guy all day
This man knows what he is talking about the man is total football 💯
I was so excited when there was this sureshot rumours that rangnick was about to be ac milan new head coach
It wasn’t a rumor, it was actually gonna happen but then Milan had an amazing run of games and after that you cannot sack pioli
But keeping Pioli and Maldini turned out to be masterclass decision
I hope the Man United players are ready to get whipped into shape ! Non of this just go out there enjoy and express yourself that they've been used to over recent years !!
I still remember when he was the coach of a small club in Germany in the 90s and everyone wondered what he was talking about. This guy did a great job in all those years, sadly he never coached a real big club
Now he is
He will be now
You were saying
So united is smallest club in the world
True, but Rangnik is a coach's coach. He taught the guys who now coach at the big clubs.
He speak and explain in good english!!
This guy is genius in Football, serious talent, would like to see him in premier league ✅🌎
And now he'll be Managing United!!! Can't wait for him to weave his magic and impart his knowledge in the Premier League❤💯
The more I get to know about Mr Ralf the more I found his football idea so fascinating and I can feel that Manchester United will become a very difficult team to play against. Great coach. He is like a professor for me I really enjoy his lecture and insight football knowledge
Welcome to Old Trafford 🔴
I’m already inspired AND motivated
. This would be such an amazing signing of ManU!
Hasn't mentioned Mourinho whose central philosophy is "it depends" rather than "my style". He still succeeded and won everything possible.
The managers with clear idea are in mainstream of football
Rangnick would be the perfect coach for United
I saw a football pundit in Sweden speak about wanting this guy as United manager, at first i thought maybe it's not the best choice, but now i understand why he would be a good fit for United.
This guy is a coaching genius. Hope he succeeds at United and ultimately becomes the permanent manager
when you see your a team start from normal/moderate performances into a world-class performances , it means the manager is doing more than what the job mean
This man is exceptional. His understanding and insights on the game, is surely going to have a lot of managers concerned. Can't wait to see what he will achieve at United.
BRING THIS MAN TO OLD TRAFFORD
When he says having a clear idea of how to play is what all the top coaches have in common, what he highlights is that 99.99% of coaches do not have a clear idea of how they want their teams to play. This is obviously true when you look at transfers, interviews, punditry, in-game changes etc. The vast majority are grunt soldiers who are chosen to become generals by people who have never served.
No wonder so many coaches look up to him. He’s the one coaches turn to when they seek advice.
While I loved Ole and was absolutely gutted when he left, I have to admit that I'd be much more confident knowing that a person like Rangnick is in charge. He is the exact opposite of Ole. Reminds me a bit of Van Gaal.
This interview broke all over the internet, that's why Manchester united board are interesting.
Thanks CV for the interview 👍
4:55 this is exactly what klopp talked about few years back.
This guy will save us.... #MUFC
One of the Footballing Brains in the World 🙌
Who else
& now we are lucky to have him at United. Get IN!!!
As a lfc fan and how much I loved olle at the wheel I must admit I'm now on my toes when we play man u
Wow his level and use of English is exceptional
The way he explains I understood one thing,he admire more JURGEN KLOOP football very much.
Really inspirational.
It is not only a clear idea of style. But to transmit those ideas effectively in training. That's what differentiates elite coaches from others
Was eagerly waiting for this. Watched a 1 min video some time earlier. So glad this came out.
Incredible man!!
Rangnick at the La'Theatre 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥✨💥💥🔴🔴🔴🔴
His words can make a person from non-football background get inspired to lead a football team ❤️
#LuckyManUnitedFan
Wow 🥺😳 he is taking our job couldn't be any better finally a good decision by board.
This is the right man for Man Utd if they want to hire a interim manager and after the season end, they can promote him to become a director of football. But we all know Glazers will not let that happen, they want full control at the club.
two ideal players that fit Ralf's style at united are Fred and van de beek... They both love pressing. Pogba, rashford and greenwood have a lot of work to do.
Hope he gets rid of the useless overpaid prima donas but maybe not
And Martial
The man just said Firmino etc weren’t natural ball winners … He took the job he knows he can lead them there …
He would like cavani more than Ronaldo.
Not really they have speed its maguire who has a lot of work to do
he speaks surprisingly good english .. respect ralf
Being a football coach vs. manager are very different jobs. The latter encompasses so much more than the latter.
I’m really inspired by these man to be a coach . Woow
What a legend this guy is 🙌
Love this guy! His vision is so clear
Good to have you in United Ralf hope you find success in here
Finally so excited for having the best coach!😍
United are so lucky to have this guy.
There’s nothing that would make me happier than seeing this man get involved at United. Literally nothing.
I'm sure you're happy haha
I'm very impressed how this guy speaks I'm worried as a LFC fan
His honesty and understanding of the game is so refreshing
This sounds brilliant. Let’s hope his personality is big enough that this transfers to the players at ManU!!
Great material.
This man is a legend in coaching. Nd the way he says thinks nd explain is just absolutely beautiful
That’s wonderful insight from a revolutionary of the game.
Am glad 😀 that’s he’s coming to Manchester United. Hearing his speech alone tells you, this is a manager that knows what he’s doing.
Am so full of joy 🤩
Not often do we see an important documentation. Such a talented filmmaker and passionate presence.
Agree i like to watch his conversation many times.
Thanks guys for the video
i just wish united would get him and make him the director of football end of the season
Brilliant words there.
Great insight
Ralfy at the wheeel 🥳🥳
More and more Ralf is coming out. Thank you Ralf.
Absolutely spot on. Exectly what has been missing at Man Utd the past decade
I wish I could just bring him to Manchester United
Nope- United need to continue failing. You lot have had enough time at the top. Stay in the mud for a bit lol
Wish granted!
@@yinyang8259 cry now
@@yinyang8259 I WILL BE IN UNITED CRY SHHHH
Hello then!
Ralf is a genius coach/manager, however its difficult to see him in a big club. The big clubs wants instant success and always have external influence from owners/directors. Ralf's idea is to build a squad and that needs patience, time and dedication from players.
The Newcastle job then. F**k United, they had their chance. Imagine this clarity of vision with all the Saudi billions. Madness.
That’s what united needs, yeah I know they are a big club but patience is key
A day later…
Well this aged well🤣
He literally says that he requires weeks to transform the thinking if players in this video. If you already have good players like most big clubs, Ragnick doesn't need all that long as long as the players buy into his brand of football. He'll get them ready in weeks
I can listen to this guy talk everyday. His English is very good, and the way he passionately talks about football is inspirational
His understanding of football is immense and will be a great help for Man U !! highly intelligent man .
Him as sporting director
Ruben amorim as manager
Perfect
If this guy got his hands on the keys at united he would make Greenwood, Rashford and sancho “pressing machines” as he calls it, like he did with mane and firmino.
Well well well… 👀👀
Oh without a doubt! You could still have Ole's 4-2-3-1 with Ronaldo upfront, but those 3 in the midfield my God... they would win every ball, while McTominay and Pogba would only have to sweep and create.
@@theportugueselegend if Rangnick had the keys at United, you wouldn’t see McTominay in a United shirt again. Nor Pogba.
@@theportugueselegend Pressing starts upfront though
sorry guys, but this princess is in our castle
@@theportugueselegend McTominay creating? Nah. Also, Pogba is going in the summer.
Incredible.
He is here boys 💪
elite info. Top quality interview
Fascinating! 👍👍
Ragnick could be the best Manager to continue MUFC victorious after SAF legacy. He is a specialist in football philosophy
I’m already loving it
fantastic mentor
This Guy!! Genuis. I really want him to coach United for a long time. Cause i would've loved to see his team vs Tuchel, Klopp, Pep and Conte
