Amazing guy, I think that he’s the best thing that’s happened to LFC in a long time.
definitely, they haven’t won the league for 30 years before him!
I'm 26, and I can confidently say that he's the best thing that's happened to the club in my lifetime. Benitez was great, and obviously we've had a lot of amazing players, but Klopp's impact has been unmatched in the Premier League era.
@@RenegadeShepTheSpacer Just the entirety of his being shouts LFC. I love that man. The passion, the love, it's indescribable.
@@RenegadeShepTheSpacer completely agree in 23 and god it was a painful experience following the reds
Best thing since Shankly

Wolfgang Frank, Christoph Daum, Volker Finke, Ralf Rangnick were some of the most influential footballing minds for the modern day german football.

Jupp Heynckes destroyed the prime Barcelona in a 7-0 aggregate victory

What about Otto Rehhagel? Is he only famous in Greece?
This guy is good. Gonna be one of the best managers of the world.
Yeah I think Pep's gonna come to Manchester City and he will have a great rivalry with Jurgen.
I dunno man. He might fail to meet expectations. Will his tactics work at a physical and fast Premier League?
He already is one of the best. Imo he is the best.
@@awaischaudhary1162 i think his comment went over your head
@@awaischaudhary1162 there’s always one 🤦♂️
Many people saying that he lost too many FINALS, but what people forget that his team are not the very best team in the FINAL all the time. He just unbelievable, he can make a FIAT run like a Ferrari.
One hundred percent true. His teams were almost always underdogs going into any final. There is only one case where he wasn't really an underdog, but still lost and that was against Sevilla in UEFA cup final. But that was very early in his Liverpool development, and teams like Sevilla and Villareal just seem to find an edge when it comes to that competition.
Its another point where English media should feel ashamed of itself. Always trying to pull down and demean people to get more views and reads. Maybe its why England never produces great coaches. The whole country is too busy to burn them on a stake after a few bad results.
@@artrain11 I disagree with you on the UEFA CUP FINAL. LFC that time is a mess, defence are not great... Sevilla have more experience than LFC, LFC is just a mid table club during that time.
This should be in a big quotebox in his wikipedia: "He can make a Fiat run like a Ferrari."
I remember Klopp getting back into shape after he left BVB. Thought he looked so sharp!
Is this the retro admin telling everyone to shut up about how Rangnick created Klopp? I was expecting him to mention Rangnick in the video but he clearly cites Wolfgang Frank as his biggest influence in coaching.
@Tahmid Ahmed deluded united fans at it again, do you seriously think that rangnick is even remotely as good as klopp or even tuchel
P.S. 5-0🤫🤭
@@allegrifan hes something else isnt he this ahmed fella 🤣🤦🏼♂️. Got beat 4-1 and went over to the other manager and said “ ay mate do us a favour show me how you play and that fella” 🤣🤣🤣😭😭
@@Cosmic-Wanderer From a German perspective this is hilarious to watch and I thank the algoritm for allowing me to see english fans go crazy over these coaches lol
I think Klopp is here specifically talking about his influence _to get into coaching_ and that is Wolfgang Frank. Ralf Rangnick is also an influence of his from _after_ he had started coaching, so his name was never going to be given as an answer to the question he was asked.
Ask all the clubs that he has managed whether they will want him back whether Mainz, Dortmund or even Liverpool one day - a definite "YES" will be the short and quick answer.
More of these.... Would love to know Conte or Ranieri influences... Italian have a Rich managerial history too.
Conte probably loves Marcello Lippi, had most success with him as a player.
probably Arrigo Saachi
For Conte it's definitely Lippi but at this point Conte himself is a huge part of football history in Italy. In the same conversation as Lippi if you ask me. The last 10 Scudettos were won using his philosophy. You just can't put into words how good this guy is in a league format.

back four and space coverage. Branko Zebec influenced Wolfgang Frank who influenced Jürgen Klopp.
Never heard such a great manager admit he wasn't a good player.
Most of them pretend they were or hope nobody remembers how bad they were. Great touch Mr Klopp.
“I had the talent for the fifth division, and the mind for the Bundesliga. The result was a career in the second division.”
Jürgen klopp
He is still the third highest goal scorer for Mainz. I dunno if that's a good thing tho
Would be great if he could win a champions league and a premier league in the future for liverpool
Yeah but he is going to need time.
Give him at least 4 years

Is it only me who finds the 5 year younger Jurgen Klopp exactly like the present day Tuchel ?

German and Scottish managers are the most elite, my mind won't be changed on that. I can see Spanish getting there with Arteta, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, etc... due to the influence of Pep.

I thought rangnick was his mentor???
No rangnick was only his inspiration the style that klopp use was his style the gengenpressing
@@KEN-tf9sr Rangnick didn't come up with 'counter press' though
@@jcshy yeah i know
Clearly not
No, Klopp just highly respects Rangnick's work in German football and was inspired by his gegenpressing at Hoffenheim, Klopp said something like "We need to get to where they are now" when he was at BVB. You probably confused the information online. Tuchel was the guy who Rangnick hired, he got him into coaching at VfB Stuttgart, and then Tuchel slowly climbed up the ranks afterwards. I don't know to what extent Tuchel was "mentored" by Rangnick but I assume it isn't a whole lot as they don't have a similar style of play. Rangnick is a good coach (doubt world class; but): I believe his strongest attribute is his eye for talent ID. The fact he could identify Tuchel could be a coach in the future, and the likes of Julien Nagelsmann. In fact I find it crazy coincidental that Tuchel retired early because of a knee injury, then was hired to be a coach by his former to be new boss at Ulm/Stuttgart (Rangnick) and then Nagelsmann played under Tuchel's Augsburg but also retired because of a knee injury. Nagelsmann had worked as a scout with Tuchel, and then ended up working with Rangnick at Leipzig.
But also, Rangnick has an eye for player talent, not just coaches. He signed Haaland and Mane at Salzburg, Kimmich, Sabitzer, Konate and Upamecano to RB Leipzig and Alaba and Firmino at Hoffenheim, who are now highly rated players. All these bar Sabitzer, Konate and Upamecano have major trophies and these two will get it anyway because they now play for Bayern Munich, and under their boss at RB Leipzig. It's no doubt this guy has a good ID for talent, which makes him a suitable sporting director for a football club. As he said in one of his interviews, he doesn't sign all the right players, but a 50% ratio is probably accurate which is better than United post-Fergie who have made virtually no successful signings (by that, I mean players that became more valuable during their United career). Haaland went from £7 million to what looks like a £150-200 million player now, Mane, at least £100 million in his prime if LFC sold, Kimmich, probably £80 million or more, etc.
The question is whether the United owners will give him what he wants. The RBL owners did what he wanted.
Whoop woop 😁😁😁 his expression 😂

This guy seems to have good knowledge he can be a great manager if he manages liverpool but i don't know why i have a feeling he may have a bald rival from Manchester.
