I will get to all the levels for sure on this one. The difficulty spikes up nicely as you get into harder levels, as I'm sure you know! ;) Ha ha. Thanks for watching along! I hope I don't make too many errors!
How awesome! I was wondering if you'd ever get back to this one. I was with you from the beginning and thought you'd shy away from this. Give the naysayer's revenge, my man. This playthru helps me as well because I can't remember the rules. Thanks for this and good luck!
Cool, I Kickstarted this back in the day, I havn't played it of course because I am mainly a lazy hoarder. Great seeing it played! Maybe I'll get inspired and try it for myself after your playthrough of it is over.
I managed to grab the base game and all expansions from Amazon 2 years ago but didn't have a chance to play it yet. Perhaps, I was simply overwhelmed by the rulebook. Your video makes me want to pull out this game and play. Thanking for covering DotZ!
I have an entire box of card sleeves and so decided to sleeve the cards for no particular reason. I think they are pretty good quality cards though, and I can see myself playing this one quite a lot.
Interesting game. Heard about it, never played it. One thing though, could you explain again how the actions work ? Your ''clapper'' indicated 1 action. Yet you moved 2 characters and a unit. How does that fit in 1 action ? Or is it 1 action per character ? If so, I think the mayor and the sniper didn't do anything.. Sorry, I didn't grasp the mechanics of that part.
Okay here goes. The card shows a number of actions. These actions can be used by any unit including heroes. The Deputy has his own special action only he can take for himself every turn. And the Player Action Token (you get 1 in solo play) works just like the clapboard action so anyone can use that action. So, for this first turn we had 1 general action, 1 Player action, and 1 Special action only the Deputy can use. So, the sniper and mayor didn't do anything this turn because we decided to not use any actions for them . . . Hope that clears that up! Thanks for watching along!
I've never played the 1st edition, but I still own and will never get rid of the 2nd edition. I do love the bigger board and tokens in this 3rd edition though so far. Thanks for watching along!
Thanks so much, Paul!! Nice to see just the basic game being played.

Starting off again with the basic game so lots of rules just skipped for now. Thanks for watching along!

Always worth a play. This game is nasty and oh so sweet if you can win. Ha ha. Thanks for watching along!
Hell yeah, been waiting years for this.
I did 2nd Ed. literally 9 1/2 years ago. It was about time to try again with 3rd Ed. Thanks for watching along!
Good luck with the game, Paul! Thanks for another playthrough!
This one is always a fun challenge, and thanks for watching along!

It can get pretty complex and I hope my playthroughs can make learning it and enjoying it a bit easier. Thanks for watching along!
Can’t wait to see what happens! ;)
It usually gets very intense . . . thanks for watching along!
Hurrah, probably my third favourite Solo game of all time.
It's a great game for sure, just can be very difficult. But this is Basic Game, so we shall see how it goes. Thanks for watching along!
Im surprised to see your cards are sleeved. I have this coming and was debating on sleeving or not.

@@PaulDarcy Yes, clears up nicely ! Thank you so much 🙂
the only "Victory Point" solo game with a deluxe new edition where I prefer the original. Keen to see how this goes though.

Best of luck. I have never, ever beaten this game.
