20,000 leagues Under The Sea! A classic :) Douglas' face as Ned Land when Nemo tells him what he is actually eating for dinner is a brilliant bit of cinema! :D
Can't wait to put my hands on it...it is actually coming to my house...but...I'm at work !!! maybe i'll get it tomorrow sure I will play it this week. I've already played with 2.0 rules...but it was a little bit hard to follow them. This version seems really nice.
In fact they were comprehensive, but they looked like a military wargame manual, it was hard to find something in it. This game is really different from last night on earth, I also played a lot of LNOE, but it's more like a Z movie than Dawn of the Zeds. DotZ is more like an defense tower game with a lot of tension, and less killing Z than escape Z..but you're first fight in the video shows it. You use your civilian to fight against Z...Big Mistake ...in Dawn, you run, you hide, you avoid combat if you can :-)
Indeed a very good comparison. LNOE is a B-Movie that you need to enjoy with your friends, some beer and popcorn :-) And I guess you're also right with running as fast as I can - at least with my civilians, already something I learned from my very first episode :-D
Hey Doug - great to hear from you! Those are standard Ultra Pro sleeves - nothing special. Unfortunately I have not figured out which sleeves I need for the character cards.
Markus you're so awesome! I plan alot of my evenings around your great videos with snacks and drinks.Your videos are so fun,and informative.
Thanks so much, David. That's really an overwhelming comment, really appreciated!
This is a game I would love to get my hands on. Thanks for the playthrough, Markus!
And thanks for watching it, Stasia! Been waiting for this game for quite a while myself - pretty sure it was worth the wait :)
I bet it was!
Great stuff as always, Markus. :)
I got this as part of my Nemo's War KS pledge thing. Eagerly awaiting its arrival!
Thanks so much, Paul! Also waiting for Nemo's War - just recently watched the Kirk Douglas flick again in order to tune in ;-)

Just setting my game up and watching your fab video. What size sleeves did you use? are they FFG?
Mark O'Reilly Thanks, Mark! I believe those are standard "american" sleeves.

I hate this! To know something will get delivered and I am not there to receive it :-D But indeed the rules are well written and pretty comprehensive!
