MY OPINION : SYLOSIS is one , at the time, of the best metal bends ! Everbody who did not have a chanse to listen Sylosis ( any of their 3 albums) SHOLULD do that if one claims to be a metal fan ...They are bigger with Monolight , and is these guys keep doing what they do day will be MONOLIGHT metal Bend....Epic band
+Frachmaninov I think a lot of bands down tune before even trying to write a heavy riff in standard! I don't play in a band, but when I try and write my own riffs, I always start in standard and will only down tune if I can't get it to sounds how I want to. But I am more likely to discard the riff and try something else than I am to down tune. Not being an elitist, I just like the challenge

I MET THE WHOLE BAND! alex was there selling shirts and like you warned me i didnt even recognize him! but i realized after he started talking aha i got a pic with him and the bassist, met the drummer and said hi to josh :) josh didnt stick around though, he came in and out quickly. i got everyones signature too except for josh :/ i met the singer in after the burial and caught a drum stick from the drummer in trivium. great fucking night :D
I was told Anterior split up right after I saw them with Sylosis in Glasgow last year. Shame. I really liked them. Still, at least we have the beyond awesome Sylosis. I just can't get enough of this band. They deserve to be huge. They just have a certain something that's missing from a lot of modern metal bands
Real fans paid to see this and to hear Slings & Arrows. There's no excuses for not having money. No matter how broke u are, u can still come up with 10$
These guys are coming to my town in a month or so! I really look forward to seeing them as they have been a big inspiration to my music writing! Gonna be brutal and epic!
@sonicslaughter Thats because they use a guitar with a floyd rose during recording. But he implements the squeal with the proper note live, without floyd rose. But some shows he uses his kramer or esp which has the floyd rose, to make them very accurate.
They are in Toronto on the 24th. They are opening for Trivium and Devildriver. I saw them in Vancouver on the 14th. Best night of my life. I got to meet all of them. Really cool dudes. Josh said they will be back next year.

To be honest it's up to the band regarding if the video should be shared but as they state in their pledge bio, it's for everyone who pledges. And I'm assuming due to the fact I have Sylosis videos means I wouldn't appose the fact someone had uploaded this video but then again I didn't bother doing it seeing as I'd be pissed if someone else uploaded, hence the conversation taking place.

@David15Gomez It's not promoting it's just uploading the video for the song that some people can't afford or can't be arsed to pay to see and regardless if it was to be released at a later date, people paid so that could view it now and you've made it available to everyone regardless if they have paid or not. If you upload this video why wouldn't others upload the other videos from the pledge which in turn makes it completely void.

I saw them here in the states and the crowd response was bullshit. I'm surrounded by hardcore and metalcore assholes who don't understand real Metal. I was born in the wrong country.

The Edge of the Earth is one of the best metal albums ever written. I can't believe more people don't know that.
