As a brand new player, my eyes kinda glazed over about halfway through because of the information overload. Saving this to come back to it again, and again. Thanks!
This is precisely what I was looking for, thank you for the effort that went into this and how you've tried to understand what a new player wants to be focusing on when they start out. I watched a couple other guides before this aimed at new players but 80% of the tips were about checking out third party software, subreddits, discord channels etc, and as a new player I simply couldn't care less about any of that. I want to experience the core of the game and decide whether I enjoy it enough before I choose to explore deeper into the game world (or galaxy I should say 😅), and you seemed to understand that better than any other newbie guide I've seen so far. So again, a massive thank you from me, you've taught me a lot in a little amount of time without spoiling anything either 👍
CMDR Arrok Trarr here. I've been an Elite game pilot since 1984. I listen to RUclips videos and the like while at work. I just want to commend you sir, on a very well presented and informative introduction to the Elite Dangerous world. Any newcomer to the Elite game will benefit greatly from watching this video. Thank you for your community content and well done CMDR o7
I watched this entire video and was immersed the entire way through. I'm 10months late and 7 years late to elite dangerous but thank you. I will be looking forward to getting into this game
Dude, your explanations are so freakin' clear and easy to follow. I'm starting to get into ED and loving it, and your videos are making me feel way less overwhelmed.
Horizans is part of the game now
A 50 minute video with no ads? You deserve the monetization.
The game was free on epic games, and never thought it would be this complicated
For the 7 second rule, bind a key to 75% throttle and hit the key when you're 7 seconds away from your target.
The difference between NPCs and players is that players have "CMDR" in front of their name.

Seeing this makes me want to start over from scratch.... again
Tip: Don't try to rush the game.

Watched 3 other ED beginner videos that were full of memes. Your video was first that actually provided very useful info, thanks!

You know you're making good vids when a veteran will watch this just because. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Been playing EVE Online for hundreds of hour, now that I got ED, it feels like I'm breathing a fresh air
Side note: The best term for don't be afraid in sci fi is still "DON'T PANIC" in a nice friendly and confidence inspiring font.
