Seeing them live is my personal version of going to church. It fills my soul with so much positive emotions that I feel absolutely bathed in light afterwards.
I'm seeing them live for the first time this summer. I feel this way just listening to their their new album, so seeing them live will be a divine experience.
Also hats off for the soundengineer. Every clip I have seen so far, professional or amateurs with a smartphone, sounds incredible balanced. Never heard that anywhere else.
I just saw them 3 nights ago for the first time. Plain words are too small to say how their music moves an entire auditorium of people. The amount of talent gathered on one stage is astounding. It feels like a privilege to be present. This song was a true highlight.
I had the wonderful privilege of seeing this band in Melbourne, Australia a few years back. Susan said she'd lost her voice mid way through the set and I never would've known, she was just amazing. I was lucky to get to jam with Derek when he was 15 (it was at a NAMM show event and our band backed him). Derek certainly wouldn't remember but I'll never forget it. I saw him again 10 years later and it was like a religious experience for me. Probably what it was like for people to see Jimi Hendrix for the first time all those years ago. Derek is definitely the greatest living slide guitarist and one of the greatest musicians as well.
@@flyjarrett there was actually a pretty good audience recording on the archive that I downloaded but I would still love to get an officially released album overseen by the band
@@griphfunk I was there both nights too and really enjoyed the second night more. Glad my 2nd was someone else's 1st. Curious what made it stand out for you.
@@uberjam-sam8512 Loved the premiere of Gravity on that 1st night and drum & percussion interplay on Pasaquan blew my mind on night 1. Those are my two faves from the new project and they played them perfectly which is probably why that night stood out for me. Plus I loved the War cover
Didn't go to RR, but we saw them on this tour local to us. I mean, they keep getting better and better every single year. I don't know how they do it. Been seeing them live since the beginning. Every tour. Hell, we even scheduled a planned trip one year to NYC to make it to the Beacon because they're so good. Orchestra of love, indeed.
Thank you TTB for performing on my birthday in Cincinnati. July 18th. You always manage to perform the week of my birthday. But it’s really not about me. 6:16 I made a very small sign that said “thank you for filling my inner cup with joy. I always fly solo. I purchased a ticket in the 100 section, assuming I’d sneak down to the front row & flash my sign for 30 seconds. Well, Chris the head of security was determined to make me sit in my actual seat, which I almost never do. I was almost kicked out of the show twice just for enthusiasm!! After the show I spotted the tour busses. There were several guys hanging out in front of the busses. I asked one of them to take my photo holding my tiny sign. He pinky promised me that he would show it to the band. I’m 98% sure he didn’t. But if he did? Just know that your music has saved my heart, brain, soul, and truly saved my life. And still does. I wish I were your neighbor so I could bring some sort of casserole to your hootenannies. Thanks for sharing your art with me & and the world , writ large. I’m so grateful ❤
Can't find my comment (if I made one)... about their show in Pittsburgh earlier this year. Just excellent... every single song. This one brought a tear. What a duo - they should be damn proud of the LIVE music they bring to us these days. Serious quality tunes ✌️✌️
My wife and I travel to CO every year to catch TTB run at Red Rocks. We were at this show in row 6. Seen TTB about 40 times across the country but Red Rocks is always extra special. If you have a chance, plan a trip to Red Rocks to see them. They always have the last weekend of July there and it’s always unforgettable.
I agree. My wife and I always travel to Red Rocks to see them every year. We were also at the show. Row 12 I think. See them every year in OH and Nashville as well. Seen them 53 times, Red Rocks is always special though. Haven’t seen them at the Beacon yet, that’s on my bucket list. Advise anyone to see them live, it’s practically a religious experience
That was Pure FIRE!!!!❤🔥❤🔥🔥🔥Susan gives the nod right around 4:05...then Gabe shoots a smile...and at 4:20 Derek hits ... NASSSSSTY slide Note...then proceeds to melt faces! I so can't wait to see TTB again!!!
Had the great pleasure to see this band in person 2 days ago and all I can say is WOW!! If you have the chance, it is worth every penny and more. What talent they have, all of them!!
This gave me goosebumps of appreciation. Yes I have heard it before. But I had covid early this year and since then hadn’t felt the ripples of joy in response to good music. But hearing this brought them back. Thank you guys. Your songs are good medicine for the soul. ❤
If beauty was a minute this would be a hour. Just a great group of musical talent. If you haven’t seen them live go treat yourself to a really great experience ❤
Searched HIGH & LOW to find out who does the 2023 Chevy Silverado commercial tune "Walk Away With Me" which I had pegged as Bonnie Raitt, but turns out that it's you guys. Just an AMAZING tune and an amazing vocal, especially love the brass cue following "I would go anywhere, anytime..." -- sheer awesomeness, thanks TTB!
Lyrics and the musical tone of a good blues song hopefully kindles a memory of sadness in the listener. When the execution of the piece results in such tendril of emoution, the artist transmits the full cup of emoutional and musical joy of sadness to the listener. The loyal animals can not protect his heart. This performance is in my mind, is an example of a great blues piece. Thank you.
Recently came across this band (thanks RUclips ;)) and am now completely besotted with them :) Fascinating to read the background to the making of “I Am The Moon”... and, finally, I found out the name of the other vocalist: Gabe Dixon! Needless to say, I'm sending links to their music to everyone I know :)
I just heard about an hour ago but you guys were coming to Knoxville again thank you Nashville was going to be a hard get to but, I just live 3 minutes from the Coliseum in Knoxville thank you thank you thank you!
Seeing them live is my personal version of going to church. It fills my soul with so much positive emotions that I feel absolutely bathed in light afterwards.
Amen
Worship the giver of the gift not the container holding it.
Such a perfect way to explain it, I feel the same!
I'm seeing them live for the first time this summer. I feel this way just listening to their their new album, so seeing them live will be a divine experience.
I've never seen them live and I'm an Atheist, but I understand this 100%
Best live band on the planet at the moment !!
Truest statement right there, buddy
Yes they are great but when i saw them it was nowhere near loud enough. Don’t know if that was the venues fault or how quiet they usually are live.
You are right. I saw them last year in Hamburg, Germany. This was the best concert of my life. I'am 61 and have many other concerts
Also hats off for the soundengineer. Every clip I have seen so far, professional or amateurs with a smartphone, sounds incredible balanced. Never heard that anywhere else.
I agree but I also think that a whole truth they will be the best today tomorrow and yesterday
These guys are a melting pot of the best of American music. I've only recently discovered them and I think they are amazing.

this band brings me back in time when music was so good!🎸
Indeed...
Coming to this RUclips-vid-place in pain, these lyrics rip me to shreds, love and losing really felt, musicians performing seem to channel it
I was at this show. It was spectacular. Both "Gravity" and "Pasaquan," absolutely killed. Really hope this show gets an official release
Was actually at both nights and they were both great but that first night was really special
Check the relisten app to see if any tapers got it.

Dereck started playing very young thats raw talent and he also played with eric Clapton at his festivals and band they are excellent musicians
I was at this night and the next night...night 2 was one of the best concerts I have ever witnessed....they are on fire...an orchestra of love
Wow I love that- an orchestra of love. And I agree with your assessment. Second nights are always best for me and this one was no exception.

Saw them in concert for the first time in Canandaigua NY and was just blown away by how wonderful it was! Love this song.
I saw them as well at Canandaigua. No other band like them. I'm hooked 😁
masterpiece

This is beautiful, a reminder of the days when magical, Zen-lunatic creative souls were smelted in the cauldron of life, not curated.

Tedeschi Trucks Band just get better with time
An entire 12 piece band built around what Derek brings to the table. Always amazing
And, Susan. Her voice. Oh my, her voice!!!!
One of the greatest solos I have ever heard! Bravo!
There are quite a few of Derek's solos I would say that about haha. Honestly he's the master.
1:22 Fills one's heart! Deeply. Thanks for the beautiful music. Love this band.
Just beautiful, this is a very beautiful song. Love it
Thank you.
God Bless
I love this song. The vocal Melodie’s just melts your heart.
My husband, son and I were there. Absolutely magical. ❤

Graceful and timeless as always ❤
Whenever my heart feels a bit peaked, a little TTB helps immensely. They are so good for the soul!
I Am the Moon live from Red Rocks on July 29, 2022.
Derek gets a kiss from Susan at the end 💋
Back for more. This song is amazing. I'm crushing on Gabe Dixon but Derek will always be #1.
Just wow❤
Had the great pleasure to see this band in person 2 days ago and all I can say is WOW!! If you have the chance, it is worth every penny and more. What talent they have, all of them!!
you make happy😁
I love this band, I’ve been seeing them every year at Red Rocks Colorado 😍

That kiss at the end sealed the deal. Derek even smiled.
Awesome band. Love to see you in Australia
So good
A truly beautiful song. Gabe is a treasure.
We had the high pleasure of again witnessing a fantastic show @ the Rose in Dayton on this tour. Soulful wheels roll on forever wow!
I love this tune 💜🙏👍🎶
There is no better band currently touring, period.
Words really can't describe how much I love this band. Sofa king good! Saw them at Red Rocks in 2021 (unless I'm wrong and it was 2020)
If beauty was a minute this would be a hour. Just a great group of musical talent. If you haven’t seen them live go treat yourself to a really great experience ❤
Beautiful. Can’t wait to see you in Chicago in a few months.
see ya there... one of those nights! March 31 I think.
Yeah, myself in Cincinnati in July...WHOOP..WHOOP.
@@jeffdempsey6478 seeing them in a few days!
My favorite band and one of my favorite venues, though to far away.

Wow what a fine song!!
Excellent live performance of a beautiful song, fiery guitar solo there too. OMG!!!
Thank U for sharing.
🥰
Ah, Gosh!
More excellent lead singer vocalists in this band than you can shake a stick at ... AND good grief, this cooks.

TTB moves so many of us to doing the exact same things you're doing(and saying..) ❤
So psyched for Peach fest. Only thing better would be you all headlining two nights at Peach 🙏✨💜🍄🐸
Brilliant work & one of the hardest working & best bands touring today!! Saw em last year-🤯🔥🌙
This is exceptional recording and video. Loved you at Orpheum
I just heard about an hour ago but you guys were coming to Knoxville again thank you Nashville was going to be a hard get to but, I just live 3 minutes from the Coliseum in Knoxville thank you thank you thank you!

Would love to know what Susan said to Derek at the end - "That solo ripped!" "Gee, thanks!" Love this band
amazing
Gabe's voice has a fantastic harmony with Susan's.
The vocals to the music was a surprise with a wonderful freshness from the band(TTB). Thanx.
Gabe was absolutely a huge add to this band.
Gabe kills it on keyboard for sure, but his voice is really something.
Son lo más!!!
Fabulous!
Love it!

Honestly thinking Susan's voice is getting better and better.
I really want to know what she said to him at the end!!!
Plan to visit Italy in the future? 🙂
