Derek and Susan are so incredibly talented but they might be even more generous as performers. They have the most talented band out there and they just let them shine. So much love. ❤️💋🍎🎼🥰
Another thing I love about them is they are VERY collaborative. They love playing with others or having others play with them. And they write the music together. Most of them have written songs and they all get their chance to shine. It’s pretty cool to see ☺️
Without a doubt , We saw them twice last June and already counting the days when they return to our are. If you've never seen them, do yourself the favor!
As two aging hippies, we have seen an embarrassing number of 60s and 70s maestros yet this cover is one the the absolute best we have ever heard. We will follow them with fervor!
Fellow Flower Child here. Have my t-shirt that says "I may be old, but I got to see all the Good groups". Saw TTB about a year ago. My 1st concert in many years. Told my (much younger) friend who came with me that I was surprised at the number of older folks in the audience. Then I realized - I was one of them!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@steved5518 of course the music is great. Those of us who have lived long enough to remember and appreciate the great music of our youth are just celebrating the discovery of a newer generation of greatness. Sorry if that bothers you.
A marvellous rendition of this great Dylan's song❤❤!! There are so many lyrics in a Dylan song that 3 singers are needed 😂😂!! TTB is the greatest live band of th 21st century ❤❤!!
man, I was a bouncer at a little bar in Boone, NC back in the mid-late 90's when Derek played there at least once, maybe twice. Been a long time. Shout out to Sollecito's and anyone else that was in Boone back when.
Boone. Makes me think of ol Elliot. The drummer. And what's his brother's name. Anyway, never been there but those guys from there used to get around. Shout out to Elliot from Steve in Mexico.
@ thank you…..I never got around to digging and you laid it at my feet. Now, I’ll listen again. Funny thing is how I remember how Susan reminded me too much of Bonnie Raitt singing. Her playing was fine but the voice was copycat Bonnie Raitt. She has found her own groove and together, her & Derek have made a great band. Shalom
My fav dylan song interpreted one of the best bands on earth. I gotta say…ive been playing guitar for a very long time. I listen to rock, jazz, blues, fusion, rb, soul, funk-pretty much everything except hip hop…i leave that to my son. And i can say without hesitation, tho i love too many players from all those genres to name any single one. but not a single one gives me chills like DT. He’s simply in a class by himself. End of comment.
This band just gets better and better. IV been listening for years. there style has changes a little and the music keeps coming . nice band with a nice mix of singers and songs.
Two of my favorites... the tune and the band. Both so able to make me travel to so many places. What good fortune to have each in my life. Makes me mighty glad I got tickets to the 2025 Sun, Sand and Soul festival. More traveling to look forward to. Great stuff.
Wonderfully done...pps....JGB did the BEST version of interpreting Bob's classic. So much emotion put into it. ....TTB is the Best band in the world!!❤
To all the true music lovers, musicians, guitarists, aficionados, etc. …. Save this video and channel. Watch to the end. That last solo blew me away. Nod to Dylan and the songwriting. Timeless.
My favorite Dylan tune, w/a touch off ABB thrown in ... world's collide! Loving the sound, would have to come up with an oxymoron like harmonious cacophony all these sounds and voices coming in and out, like walking down a street and taking in all the street sounds and somehow it all flows together and makes sense.
Said this recently on a different RUclips: TTB do excellent covers of BD. Give "my eye-teeth" to see them get Roberto Luti and Jason Tamba from Playing for Change sit in on Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door. PfC recently did that tune in honor of the Band's Robbie Robertson. And hearing Luti on his National steel guitar and Derek trading off slides, could be a beautiful thing. If I actually thought of heaven as a place, Duane would certainly be enjoying Derek's work.
I'm left feeling that my wife and I have followed TTB since Revelation came out but now ticket prices that are out of TTB's control have priced us into the bleacher seats. Though we have been at 5 different tour concerts, after so many good years of seeing and hearing the greatest band on Earth perform we have been priced or pushed out and that's ok as long as the message of music and love continues on. I wish them all the very, very best that life has to offer them all. Take good care,TTB. Take good care.
Kofi was one of my favorite musicians of all time dating back to the 90's. Absolute genius. I didn't see myself liking anyone who might of stepped in after his passing, but Gabe is absolutely killing it. Love his playing and his voice. ✌🏻
Only a select few recording artists deserve to cover the Bob Dylan song “Tangled Up In Blue”: the Charlie Daniels Band and the Tedeschi-Trucks Band, especially when Derek Trucks goes into emergency military afterburner on slide guitar. Duane Allman smiles down from heaven whenever that happens.
Funny you should say that. My good friend gave me one of their live albums and, other than, Revelator, I’ve been satisfied just to buy the live stuff. Fantastic band. Here’s a secret….I enjoyed their Layla as much as, and probably moreso than the original(maybe because I’ve heard the original so many times). Regardless, love this band.
......remember Susan singing at the Ritz on marthas vineyard ...great voice..da blue eyes and dimples...gentle soul..great to see her happy and loved and successful...ollie
Whenever I watch them play on RUclips, I must concentrate in each singer and performer, especially when Derek is playing his guitar, I forget to breath ! This band is so incredibly great and makes me happy ! Thank you for posting this.
Such a great tune and with all three vocalists it really takes it to another level...well Derek takes it to somewhere other worldly with both solos...band is just ripping throughout thanks for the amazing capture as always 🙏🏻
@@LessThanFaceProductions1 just ordered a shirt as a sign of appreciation which I will proudly wear thinking of your amazing videos...this one for example I've listened to around a dozen times.
I usually don't like covers of this song because they just don't reach the emotional depth that Bob Dylan has in the original. But this one is just fantastic. Finally someone did a remake of this song justice.
I saw abb. 40 times. First time I saw him . He was 16. He Hade a broken leg . At Hyde park Chicago. And this kid raw af. Not like he plays today. My co-favorite song of all time along with the Doors' LA Woman. I'm an old geezer on the wrong side of 65, and I still as Lou Reed would write, have a "Rock and Roll Heart".. And Derek Trucks is one mofo of a guitar player, and played in a band that his uncle Butch played in. The Allman Brothers Blues Band. Just fyi, in case you didn't know, but I'm 99% sure you guys knew that.

We saw them about three weeks after this show and at least five different performers sang lead. Also, Susan had more solos than I've ever seen.
Without a doubt , We saw them twice last June and already counting the days when they return to our are. If you've never seen them, do yourself the favor!
Agreed. I felt like God was showing off through Derek the night I saw TTB.
I’m completely biased, but think they are the finest touring band in the world. TTB live is transcendent
I agree 100%.. makes my day every time I get to see them.

Absolutely my favorite.
You aren't wrong.
You my friend is 💯 correct.
I think th e fact that Derek and Susan encourage the band members explore the boundaries makes the band unbeatable

A fantastic song by Dylan and an amazing rendition by one of the best bands of our age!!!!!
What an amazing arrangement of an all-time Dylan favorite. Any song this band touches , turns to gold.

This first singer nails the essence of the sound of Bob when this was released. Strange time for Dylan. Great time for us.
That is Gabe Dixon and I totally agree. He is amazing on TTB's "I am the Moon" and "Gravity".

Used to watch Suzanne back up Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters in the 90's in some small jazz club outside of Boston, she done good!!
Derek & Susan have a way of making the music flow like water. A match made in heaven.
Dylan classic superbly covered.
Thank you Susan, Derek & the rest of this highly talented Bluesrock band😀Amazing version
