Derek and Susan are so incredibly talented but they might be even more generous as performers. They have the most talented band out there and they just let them shine. So much love. ❤️💋🍎🎼🥰
Another thing I love about them is they are VERY collaborative. They love playing with others or having others play with them. And they write the music together. Most of them have written songs and they all get their chance to shine. It’s pretty cool to see ☺️
man, I was a bouncer at a little bar in Boone, NC back in the mid-late 90's when Derek played there at least once, maybe twice. Been a long time. Shout out to Sollecito's and anyone else that was in Boone back when.
A marvellous rendition of this great Dylan's song❤❤!! There are so many lyrics in a Dylan song that 3 singers are needed 😂😂!! TTB is the greatest live band of th 21st century ❤❤!!
This band just gets better and better. IV been listening for years. there style has changes a little and the music keeps coming . nice band with a nice mix of singers and songs.
To all the true music lovers, musicians, guitarists, aficionados, etc. …. Save this video and channel. Watch to the end. That last solo blew me away. Nod to Dylan and the songwriting. Timeless.
Such a great tune and with all three vocalists it really takes it to another level...well Derek takes it to somewhere other worldly with both solos...band is just ripping throughout thanks for the amazing capture as always 🙏🏻
Funny you should say that. My good friend gave me one of their live albums and, other than, Revelator, I’ve been satisfied just to buy the live stuff. Fantastic band. Here’s a secret….I enjoyed their Layla as much as, and probably moreso than the original(maybe because I’ve heard the original so many times). Regardless, love this band.
Two of my favorites... the tune and the band. Both so able to make me travel to so many places. What good fortune to have each in my life. Makes me mighty glad I got tickets to the 2025 Sun, Sand and Soul festival. More traveling to look forward to. Great stuff.
Whenever I watch them play on RUclips, I must concentrate in each singer and performer, especially when Derek is playing his guitar, I forget to breath ! This band is so incredibly great and makes me happy ! Thank you for posting this.
Said this recently on a different RUclips: TTB do excellent covers of BD. Give "my eye-teeth" to see them get Roberto Luti and Jason Tamba from Playing for Change sit in on Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door. PfC recently did that tune in honor of the Band's Robbie Robertson. And hearing Luti on his National steel guitar and Derek trading off slides, could be a beautiful thing. If I actually thought of heaven as a place, Duane would certainly be enjoying Derek's work.
I usually don't like covers of this song because they just don't reach the emotional depth that Bob Dylan has in the original. But this one is just fantastic. Finally someone did a remake of this song justice.
Only a select few recording artists deserve to cover the Bob Dylan song “Tangled Up In Blue”: the Charlie Daniels Band and the Tedeschi-Trucks Band, especially when Derek Trucks goes into emergency military afterburner on slide guitar. Duane Allman smiles down from heaven whenever that happens.
Wonderfully done...pps....JGB did the BEST version of interpreting Bob's classic. So much emotion put into it. ....TTB is the Best band in the world!!❤
On August 28, 2009 I visited Boston to see my Jays (and Roy Halladay - Roy got walloped 2 days later I believe something like 7-0) sadly get swept by the Red Sox. I had never been to Fenway before so I took a tour of the ballpark that day before the night game and once we got to the Monstah, there’s Derek Trucks sitting there chatting with a couple of guys! No one else in our tour group recognized him but I sure did! I walked up and said hello. And had a very nice short chat with him. I told him I thought he was the best slide player I’d ever heard since Duane. He seemed to like hearing that, although I am sure he’s heard it 1000’s of times and was just accommodating me. Very gracious and humble though. I found out the Allmans were playing that night and was torn, but we ended up going to the game that night as we had expensive State Street seats along the 1st base line.
Based on my past brief meetings with him, Derek is indeed humblest of the humble... man are we lucky to have him, Susan, and their band sharing their talents like they do
My co-favorite song of all time along with the Doors' LA Woman. I'm an old geezer on the wrong side of 65, and I still as Lou Reed would write, have a "Rock and Roll Heart".. And Derek Trucks is one mofo of a guitar player, and played in a band that his uncle Butch played in. The Allman Brothers Blues Band. Just fyi, in case you didn't know, but I'm 99% sure you guys knew that.
Just like you often hear with "The Weight." I think it adds emotional depth with different vocalists handling their verses according to their interpretation of the lyrics.
They're so into the less-tangible elements of band life - they still LIKE each other... Seems to work. 4:42 -> TRANSCENDANT Trucks solo, thar. 7:03 - owww

I’m completely biased, but think they are the finest touring band in the world. TTB live is transcendent
I agree 100%.. makes my day every time I get to see them.
💯 %
Absolutely my favorite.
You aren't wrong.
You my friend is 💯 correct.
A fantastic song by Dylan and an amazing rendition by one of the best bands of our age!!!!!
What an amazing arrangement of an all-time Dylan favorite. Any song this band touches , turns to gold.
Tears of joy are running down my cheeks,at the beauty and amazing passion in playing that wonderful tune by his bobness.
And I can understand the lyrics!! 😅
man, I was a bouncer at a little bar in Boone, NC back in the mid-late 90's when Derek played there at least once, maybe twice. Been a long time. Shout out to Sollecito's and anyone else that was in Boone back when.
Used to seed DTB
It doesn’t get much better than this!
So cool the obvious stars let the other band members show their talent! Very respectful and rare.
A marvellous rendition of this great Dylan's song❤❤!! There are so many lyrics in a Dylan song that 3 singers are needed 😂😂!! TTB is the greatest live band of th 21st century ❤❤!!
I think th e fact that Derek and Susan encourage the band members explore the boundaries makes the band unbeatable
This first singer nails the essence of the sound of Bob when this was released. Strange time for Dylan. Great time for us.
DTrucks&STedeschi so special, a wonderful performance that gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, many thanks for the post 🙏🎶
thanks for watching!
A fantastic cover of one of my favorite Dylan songs!
After being blown away by all of the Derek and Dominos covers, hearing some Dylan is great! Excellent job everyone!
This band just gets better and better. IV been listening for years. there style has changes a little and the music keeps coming . nice band with a nice mix of singers and songs.
Love when they flex their depth as a band. Great somg choice and just fkin flawlessly tight
I was there. It was awesome. The MGM Fenway is an incredible venue.TTB just kills it every time.
Great song off of my favorite Dylan album🎉 Blood on the tracks is fantastic !
Wow, what a rendition of this classic ! Taking turns with the lead adds so much to the verses !
These guys have been making music fun for a very long time, thanks for the upload!
😎 These guys are the real deal! From equipment to stage setup. One of the best ever! 😎
Used to watch Suzanne back up Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters in the 90's in some small jazz club outside of Boston, she done good!!
To all the true music lovers, musicians, guitarists, aficionados, etc. …. Save this video and channel. Watch to the end. That last solo blew me away. Nod to Dylan and the songwriting. Timeless.
We appreciate it!
Nice cover of one of my favorite songs from Dylan. This band is infinitely versatile.
Amazing rendition. Just what I'd expect from this band
I used to see Susan perform at the Yardrock in Quincy. Great times.
You can hear the Allman Brothers Band influence. Especially Chuck Leavell piano. And yes, Butch Trucks is Derek's uncle.
Well you said it; This is reworked "Ain't wasting time no more" but the influence flew straight to Dylan first.
Absolutely the best band in the universe!
Known Universe? 🤔
Such a great tune and with all three vocalists it really takes it to another level...well Derek takes it to somewhere other worldly with both solos...band is just ripping throughout thanks for the amazing capture as always 🙏🏻
Thanks for listening Sam!
Gabe Dixon is the bomb! So cool to see him out with TTB... Killer version of that song
Funny you should say that. My good friend gave me one of their live albums and, other than, Revelator, I’ve been satisfied just to buy the live stuff. Fantastic band. always loved this song. listen to it in hard times. great performance of it.
Amen bro everything they touch is pure gold
Whenever I watch them play on RUclips, I must concentrate in each singer and performer, especially when Derek is playing his guitar, I forget to breath ! This band is so incredibly great and makes me happy ! Thank you for posting this.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Think he is Duane
This band is really incredible. So talented and creative. What a great cover.

Indigo girls have a great live version of this song.
Best live band. Best guitarist. Best song.

Jerry Garcia covered this song very well!
@ Oh, crap, forgot about Jerry Garcia. He did it right, too. Thanx.
Find a version from Jerry Garcia Band...throw that in the mix...one of my favorites.😊
love this version. THANKS.
unreal! bummed I missed it, Derek is godly on that guitar!! WOW!! thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is excellent!
Fantastic these guys totally nailed it. I am in love with TTB ❤❤
just a wonderful job on this song.I honestly believe this band could take a song from Sesame street and turn it into a masterpiece
Gabe Dixon has just been a breath of fresh air since he's stepped in Kofi's position.
Fly free Kofi
Just when you think Koffi was irreplaceable, Gabe falls in their lap.
First few notes sent chills up my spine and goosebumps on my arms.
This is going in the daily rotation for a while.
Great performance! That Eb at 4:59, Derek Trucks, the master of tension and resolution in a phrase!
That really threw me. Had to listen back as I thought it might be the only time I’ve heard Derek play a bum note
Wonderfully done...pps....JGB did the BEST version of interpreting Bob's classic. So much emotion put into it. ....TTB is the Best band in the world!!❤
This is the second best cover of this tune I've heard. NFA

Are there finer lyrics in all of popular music? Is there a finer band in all the world?
Wow!!! Love this band!! Great video too...
We need to hear more from the keyboard player, what a star!!
God loves me & he loves Tedesci Trucks & Bob Dylan too. Don't give up
💯
God loves everyone. That's why He sent His Only Son
Unfortunately the majority do not believe in Jesus, the Christ;
...or what He did for us all
Best Dylan song ever done by the most soulful band touring today
This is so so good. Love Dylan and I really love TTB. Seeing them live this year was Two of the greatest shows I ever seen.
Dylan classic superbly covered.
Fantastic Dylan cover.😊😊😊

The song captures the times well when we would put on a backpack and travel the open road looking for fun and adventure!
Great rendition of Dylan’s classic.
Best cover of this song EVER!
Is there anything that they don't knock out of the park?
One of the best bands - playing ! Top 5
I LOVE how the lead vocal gets handed off to other members of the band.
Just like you often hear with "The Weight." I think it adds emotional depth with different vocalists handling their verses according to their interpretation of the lyrics.
Hey that’s Gabe Dixon , very cool !!!
A great tune & Rock’n band! Though.. I sure miss my friend Kofi ❤✌️
Love these guys !!!

Outstanding.
This makes me dream about a Dylan Tour with the Allman Bros instead of the Dead!! 😂❤
This leaves me breathless!.
That was great! As usual
Great job on a beautiful Dylan tune.
In the spirit of Jerry indeed the cover of Dylan magic.
I Love this band, Every time they do someone else's song, sounds like they wrote it.

Wow...excellent band. Good rendition. Some parts sound like a discovery process. Interesting. Professionals.
I'm just filled with emotion .....
Great band!
Great version of a great song!
Fabulous!!!
Derek is by far the best slide guitar player ever. He had that S G growling
Derek is indeed mind blowing but don’t cut the Landreths short. Especially Sonny.
This was awesome live
Love this!
They're so into the less-tangible elements of band life - they still LIKE each other... Seems to work. 4:42 -> TRANSCENDANT Trucks solo, thar. 7:03 - owww
Vibing!
