Tyler is a monster on the drums. I never thought I’d say it. But, I’m actually happy JJ decided to move on. And I love JJ’s playing! But Tyler is on another level when it comes to improve and creativity.
I saw Gabe Dixon with Loggins and Messina about 20 years ago on the Sitting In Again tour and thought keep an ear on this kid. First album i ever owned was Donovan's Greatest Hits (First There Is a Mountain) This is another level up.
good lord. It's all incredible, but I feel compelled to point out Gabe Dixon's solo in particular. He's tearing up that B3. After Kofi passed I assumed they'd never have anyone close to as good as Kofi on keys again, but I was wrong. Where'd they find Gabe?
