Skoda had 500 vRS cars for India. They sold these cars as soon as they were available.

Why compare a Polo with an Octavia? They are not in the same segment. Make sure you pull the tea bag out of the coolant expansion tank (on any VW product), if that goes, it could be game over for the interior heating.
A Skoda superb 1.8tsi MT with performance upgrades can meet the need with luxury and space.
All ok but limited to 500 units in India is a big mess done by Skoda 😡😡😡

@@rajavikramvarma4052 but i don't understand why this skoda and VW don't do full fledged local manufacturing to keep cost low and being more then 15 years here in india. See kia despite new entrant they are locally manufacturing and exporting too their seltos.

How is gti 4 lakhs cheaper than a vrs..?
I think you are right about Polo GTI 3 Doors, coz trunk door is also counted.
But then technically the VRS is 5 doors right cause even thats a hatch.
Will be going for a D-segment or Premium Crossover in the next couple of years and I might be considering the Hyundai Elantra/Tucson (would love if the i30n/Elantra Sport releases by then) because end of the day, Hyundai gives peace of mind when it comes to service.
Sadly there's very low chances of those making it up here.....D segment aint that popular like it used to be .So dont keep hopes

If kia launches Stinger gt then Octavia will stand no where due to their localization kia plant

The VRS is a great car and awesome value. Really great blend of performance, reasonable comfort (for the performance available, ride comfort is acceptable) and practicality. Its also better to look at than a Golf or A3.

I'm guessing it's the KIA stinger GT although not Japanese.
Civic 1.5 RS Turbo. I am sure it won't make it to India though. Buggers ha e fitted the same engine as in old civic in the new version as well.
And Civic RS Turbo comes only with a manual gearbox. Using a DSG for a couple of years now and let me tell you, if you live in a city, you better get a DSG and not manual.
Next gen Octavia is coming next year so I don’t think skoda will reopen booking of Octavia vrs.
Octavia 1.8 Tsi will take car of civic 1.5 turbo rs if launch in India.
