I always wondered why Chevrolet didn't had a G-body car, they could have left the Lumina as their W car and introduce the Impala in the G platform offering the 3800 na as the base engine, the supercharged as the LS and the N* as the SS engine since it's debut in 2000. A station wagon version would've been nice too, a body style that always felt missing within GM's big cars since the B-body cancellation in 96 and that the G-body could have got well in my opinion Similar question to why Pontiac was the only brand without a B-body car in the 90's. Anyways, nice swap! Greets from Mexico
Tee Wild I figured getting it in would be a little tough my main concern is getting the electronics to work especially because I didn’t want to switch my original gauge. Wait so how do you wire everything to work properly because I can’t find a thread for it anywhere ?
@@jdubb21autoworks21 I used everything from the original car and modified it to fit. Some wiring I had to reroute to work. No 1 attempted this project but ppl have done the LS motors
@@jdubb21autoworks21 I think so too, you should attempt it. Be a great v8 sleeper. Just like the gs supercharged model and lacrosse super. This engine I know for sure will fit in a 04 and up buick lesabre, the wire and accessories set up n mounting are the same just like the Bonneville 3800s and gxp

I agree to that too. Have all the variety in one car and all would have been fun to play around with.
does the ac work? thinking about doing the swap
If you can get the lines made to to fit and the ac sensor..yes. mine not working just yet
I need a whole LS4 engine in my 2006 impala but not sure how to do the job, I’m looking at 6 grand or do it myself right?
If you got the knowledge and skills to do it you'll save hell of money. Just gotta have time and patience you'll be much more appreciated.🙂
Awesome. 32v Northstar V8? There are so many things right with this.
Lol thanks bro. I love this car😁
Was it hard to install??
@@javierochoa432 not really just had to modify the subframe to accept the oil pan and filter housing
how is this holding up? can't decide if i wanna build my 3.8 or just pick a northstar or ls4 from the junkyard lol
Its holding up well so far I been driving it everywhere go some speed to it.
@@teewild290 damn nice northstar swap it is!
@@teewild290 also do you know if northstars can take boost?
@@GameLover1022 I watched other channels where they have boosted them I think they can take it but not too much overkill
Bro how doable is this ? I got a 99 Buick Regal GS and I’ve been dying to swap it like roughly how much time and money am I looking at
It was mild I just took the whole entire harness n Powertrain lot of work was involved
