The C8 Z06 is a super car killer. It’s beaten the aventador and one of the Ferrari models forget which one. And it’s beaten mclarens too. It beats cars that are twice it’s price idk why people diss it so much.
The ZO6 sounds awesome and is a beast but even the Savage Geese host/owner said he’d be Leary about trying to push it on a mountain road because it can get squirrelly. Other videos have said it’s not as easy to launch as the Eray which is more user friendly. The Eray also has the option of adding twin turbos(mid 9’s) or supercharged if you’ve got the Duckets. I personally would like to see a ZO6 with an electric motor up front as well…awesome soundtrack and AWD grip!😁👍
As a C8 Owner , I have to say that the C8 Z06 is Ridiculous in many ways, Starting from being Ridiculous EXPENSIVE for just a V8 at $200K (With Markups) , Fish Tailing Clearly shows (Lack of Torque Vectoring). Not the Driver's Fault, it's the Traction's Control's Fault. E-Diff that does nothing! (I am an Eng.)
MacLarens are, historically, under rated on power, like Porsche, plus it weighs less by at least a couple hundred pounds, the hp is probability close as advertised and both cars lack grunt from low end torque
The Z06 owner sold his Green McClaren to his buddy in this video. They both knew it was going to be faster considering power #'s, weight ratio. They did these test runs to see by how much etc.
So spend more money on a faster car, what a concept, let's beef up that z06 with just a few thousand dollars, and see what happens to that McLaren then. Might even save yourself $80,000 - $100,000 off the price of the McLaren then.

The Z-06 obviously backed out of it when the back end became a little wobbly. Stevie Wonder could see that!

Well the Z06 is still on the torque deficit since it’s NA. Since the 650s is turbo charged, the torque curve covers a wider power band.
An NA 5.5L v8 losing to a twin turbo v8 with a few hundred pounds advantage who woulda thought
