It's very new release 2024 model so there's no proper acceleration footage. (literally forgot to say)
Little issue with engine displacement:
- LT5 in ZR-1 was 5.7
- LS2 in C6 was 6.0 not 6.2
I'll always love that C6 ZR1, it's a monster of a machine

I have a C5 Z06 so I recognized and love the sound, but that C6 Z06 with the 427 was awesome and so fast!
C5 - C7 will always be my favorite.
Today I learned that the C4 came with a 7 litre LT5

Accept that there is so much wrong info. C5 6spd says 1997 ls1 with 405 horsepower, but also says z06. 4.8s 0-60? Just mixing two different cars together. Definitely has some work to do
How can you put up numbers for the SLOWEST C3 when the 68-72 were the faster cars. Using the 350 from a late 70's C3 would not be the best choice for performance numbers. I wasted 3 minutes of my life watching some BS info and another 3 minutes typing this. Huge thumbs down. Are you even a car guy?

LS3 was introduced in 2008. 2005 was the LS2; also the C6 was not a Stingray. And the C4 ZR1 LT5 was still 5.7L, not 7.0 FFS.
Don’t forget he said the zo6 c5 had an ls1 and not an ls6, kinda a niche thing to notice but still

Interesting how the C7 generation has by far the longest gearing for their transmissions in this comparison, with first gear covering all of 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) and that going through just five out of eight gears means you'd have to go over 260 km/h (160 mph). I've seen a Nurburgring run of the C7 where the driver went from fourth to seventh in the manual transmission version of the car and it was running ~260km/h at 3000rpm.

The lt5 in the old zr1 is a 5.7L
The ls2 is a 6.0.

C5 z06 very impressive with some boltons and tune that car would fly not to mention the handling i could imagine with boost

I think of Driving Empire at C6 it can reach speeds of 300 kilometers or 200 miles.
The C4 never came with a 7.0L engine, ZR1 C4 had a 5.7 that made 375 hp.

Everything needs to be translated to mph.
Just be careful when you come close to redline. A couple times you bounced the fuel cutoff. Thats ok but you don’t want to to that too often - it’s a safety feature but not always reliable. Titanium valves are not cheap 😊

you could run a low 13/high 12 with the solid lifter 327 engines and 4:11 rear.
It is mine and it is a 1966 427ci matching numbers all stock.
The video is real and the time calculated by people might be a little optimistic but is is in the 5s bone stock.
Please put the correct picture of the car with the acceleration shown.
1:57 on this video is like my 95 Z/28! Get that engine to rev and she will move! I have a 6-speed Borg. and that 6th gear works Okay at 170 MPH! Don't ask why this is the fastest car I ever drove. I don't like when you are doing 160 and you have no more juice! Not this car she will kill you or get you put behind bars. So, after 165 MPH, I slowed her down and had to pull over because I was so dang nervous! No, cop chases just thinking she is freaking fast! I went up against a 1987 Ferrari F40 and I was about 200 ft. from him but he did not lose me! I love the sound of Ferrari's and the revs are special on their engines.

The actual top speed of the 405 hp zr1 C4 is 299 kph, the actual speed of the 405 hp z06 c5 is 291 kph, the 0a 60 mph of the z06 is 3.8s, the top speed of the zr1 c6 is 338 kph, the top speed of the z06 c7 is 345 kph, the top speed of the C7 stingrey is 307 kph, In 1980 a Corvette 350 PC came out with 230 hp and a top speed of 235 kph, the Corvette C4 ZR1 which had a top speed of between 289 and 291 kph was the 375 hp version that first came out in 1989.
By the way the LS1 and LS6 engines were not 350 pcs, they were 346 pcs, or 346 cubic inches

Some of your numbers suggest that the cars can get to a 100 miles per hour in only a 10th of a second longer than it takes to get to 60 miles per hour. This doesn't even make sense.

Same engine layout, both are Flat plane V8. Other Corvettes are cross plane V8.
I know it's for performance reasons, but using that destroyed what was great about the Corvette. It no longer sounds like a muscle car v8, but more like it's trying to copy Ferrari performance on a budget.
