I grew up in Yuma but live in Prescott now. When I am in Yuma I buy a few dozen rolled tacos, raw, & we cook them at home. They taste the same. I think they ship if you are interested.
Texas, New Mexico, Arizona...I have been all over all 3 states. Texas is out. I have lived in Texas for 30 plus years, and love the Tex Mex, but that's what it is. We cant get great authentic Mexican food here like Arizona or New Mexico. There is a small town in Arizona named Mammoth that has a restaurant called La Casita. It is family owned. The same family owns the El Rey in Globe. If you ever feel like a small road trip, you wont be let down. I suggest the number 5. It includes a burro enchilada style, an enchilada and a taco. I hope you go. Enjoy.
I grew up in Yuma and moved to Phoenix when I was 18. Every time I drive down to Yuma I always brought a couple large ice chests in the back of my truck and ordered $100 dollars worth of bean burritos for family and friends back in Phoenix
I usually go to Mr. G's rather than the Chile Pepper. The Chile Pepper is always full of people. I started going to Mr. G's in the 1960's at the old location. Great food.
I lived there when I was a teenager. I raced BMX. We would ride our bikes all day. I ran across it on accident still crave those burritos. Is it still diagonal from the hospital. There was a circle K I would go play Street fighter at all the time I don’t think it’s there anymore.
It is the best homemade burrito ever! I have wonderful memories from early 80s of Chili Pepper. Back then it was just a little house, in the corner of the same street where is at now. The streets were dirt, not many houses around. It was very easy to get to Chili Pepper from Kofa High for a delicious burrito. Their flavor have always been the same, is a Family recipe, from generation through generations
Best Bean and cheese burritos and the salsa is awsome. I soak my rolled tacos and drink the salsa. I get them every time when I stop in town to visit the Familia.
If its the best burrito? Why dont they win best burrito in yuma? I know a place called Jectors Burritos. They are better than the best burritos in town!!!
We ate at Chile Peppers on 3/18/2019 and this is our last visit for us...we ordered rice, beans and eggs in one plate. The idiot cash registrar told us they had no plates. I ordered one big burrito. The total was over $16,00. What a disgusting way to serve rice and beans jammed together in a cup; and the eggs also served in another cup. My wife almost had a heart attack...How embarrasing and disgusting was to eat from cups....
I was raised on Mr. G's bean and cheese burritos. It's the first place I stop at when I come in to town.

That's all that is good there bean chease, bean rice n cheese, rolled tacos.
honestly, I don't get the hype about mr. g's or chile pepper. maybe it's just my taste. if you enjoy it then that's what counts but the best? nah
Ate there a few years ago. I ended up with severe food poisoning. Eat there at your own risk.
Best Machaca and Chorizo anywhere!
Great video !
Yuma! What a great burrito.
Not any more.
I always liked El Charro myself on 601 West 8th street in Yuma
Chile pepper is very epic

So glad I live In yuma
My favorite
If you like that place , you'll LOVE Las palapas in Yuma
You must work at las palapas. Not even close to Chili Pepper!
I did not grow up in Yuma, but currently reside there. I'm probably one of the very, very few people that thinks they're overrated.
no way...it's mediocre at best
If its the best burrito? Why dont they win best burrito in yuma? I know a place called Jectors Burritos. They are better than the best burritos in town!!!
Is chile pepper in San Diego?
Nope yuma its local

Order from the menu dingbat
Why would you order "a plate of rice, beans, and eggs" at a restaurant that makes burritos and rolled tacos? They do burritos, not plates.
It's not kung pow mexican food. You dont order plates like the "Mexican food" spots elsewhere in the country
Bruh lmao
Is Chile Pepper in L.A. ?
The girl in the pink sweater was rumored she would steal burritos and slang them in mexico port of entry
