The glorification of PEDs has become insane. Respect for making this video
The irony is that the kids doing steroids aren't actually into health and fitness, they're into getting big at any cost.
shark slides go hard
I fell into the temptation of using PEDS. I had a problem with recreational drugs before. Fentynal. I overdosed and should have been dead multiple times. Im 3 years clean from that and it was the gym that saved me. But i got so into the gym and had the wrong people in my ear and about 4 months ago i lost my natty card. I keep it simple and dont do much but it feels like that addictive personality has taken control again. Idk what to do honestly. This is a good video and really has me thinking.
Appreciate you sharing bro. It’s never too late to quit. I think we both know that we should be the ones in control of our lives - not any other substance.
Never be shy to look for help! And you most certainly can build a great physique naturally
Brother get off it, it's not worth it for the long term health effects, and the natural physique looks better to 90% of people anyways.
@@Jolron14 says brother get off it, after he says his addictive personality is the driving factor .. addiction isnt just ahh oh get off it.. but there is resources out there to help him, its not as simple as hey just get off it cause i think youll look better.
Bro it's okay not to be the strongest guy in the gym. Just be comfortable with your own results and pace. If you can, transfer to a different gym, if transferring is not an option, just don't mind the people whispering in your ear try to avoid peer pressure.
Thank you all for the positive vibes man
I don't need PEDs, I need lats exercises that will make me grow wings.
the worst thing you can do is compare yourself to others, especially on social media.
Bro please don’t ever change this was a beautiful video. I hope it goes trending everyone needs to hear this. Honestly you are one of the only fitness people I watch now. Stay you! (Also I can’t believe people think you’re small! 🤦♂️)
You're a true inspiration, dude. We need more messages like this out there in the community.
As a woman that follows you, you are truly inspiring. Your words carry so much meaning and you inspire me to reach goals I’ve almost quit on many, many times. Thank you ❤
I needed and respect this so much man. The honesty and transparency. Inspiration, keep doing it up
Hey I'm 47 this year, reaching 50 in a couple. Will always watch your Tube till you stop doing it Tyler. Kudos on the journey
Thank you, Tyler for the great talk and opinion.
love these types of thought talks, please keep doing more of these
Tyler, this was GOLD. I personally, appreciate the hell outta this type of video. Very informative & shows another side of ya! Keep it up 💪🏾🔥
Until now I've only seen your short form videos and never really followed you, but man, you earned a new subscriber today. Great speech.
45yo here looking up to you"little kid". Glad I came across your channel, you're doing great, there's a lot I can learn from you. Appreciate you and your work. Cheers!
This is why we love u Tyler‼️🤞🏾
I’m 41 but I’m very new to lifting and gym work. I’ve been following your videos, and I really enjoy them.
Something that has really shocked me is how accepted steroids are these days. When I was growing up, you’d hear about athletes taking steroids and that was unequivocally a bad and dangerous thing. I haven’t really given it much thought until I started getting into the gym and then getting recommended various videos on RUclips in the last few months, and I’ve just been shocked by the number of people who act like it’s just another tool in the toolkit.
Love this!! Well said
Respect Tyler for making this video. Keep going !
How you do any thing in life is how you do every thing in life.
Salute brother.
Loved the video, I look forward to more conversational videos like this one!
Keep up the good work bro. Love your videos.
There is a genetic limitation to muscle growth for a reason since excessive muscles will strain your tendons, bones and ligaments to a high degree and you will be more likely to snap your $hit up
Very good point.👍🏻
But we don't here pf a lot of anything snapping. Thebmost popular snap was either the achillies or bicep tear
I really like these videos! :) please keep making them, you gotta pinky promise.
Instant subscribe!
I think this also applies to every other things in life. Being competitive, ambitious, and sometimes compare to other people for reference is great! However, if it leads to insecurity and if you sacrifice every other things in life to achieve your goal then it's not worth it. Sometimes people have tunnel vision on main goal but forget other interesting things in life that are waiting for them to explore.
ok i need you to stop observing me. this is eerie :D
I do like this conversational vids! It shows your personality and "human" side of the channel that a lot of fitness channels on RUclips lack :)
Seeing someone with a bigger platform speak on having ACTUAL VALUES is a HUGE breath of fresh air! Good shit Tyler. Hoping to see a lot more of this content!
I really like your take on it. And love that’re talking about fitness as something that would make you feel good and help you achieve other things in life.
Thanks for all the great content you’ve been creating!
9:56, yes I like this conversational vids, keep it up bro💪❤️🔥
My brother Tyler, I have just come here to say that what you're doing is excellent work and tons of kids around the world including myself appreciate this kind of content. Watching your shorts has improved my form tremendously, which has improved my gains! Thank you for dedicating your platform and staying true to natural body building. The fitness industry can be a toxic and convoluted place, especially for new lifters. So your influence & contribution to this community has been a blessing to us all
you are a light in the fitness industry. thank you for talking about this issue from a logical, reasonable, and smart standpoint
thanks for the good advice
Thats why Tylers my goat man, good advice on every aspect of fitness 💪
Love this type of content from you, Tyler. Keep it up man you're an inspiration
Thanks for making this video, ever since i worked out i have always watched your vidoes and even today it still gives me motivation.
Fire video.
Appreciate your presence in the industry. I delve really deep into fitness and it's been great but I know it can't be my life.
You really inspire me to use the discipline and confidence, and apply it in other places. Not just to be a bigger person, but a better person overall.
We need more awareness when it comes to this topic ❤🙏.
Great analogy
Great Video Brother
Awesome vid
I discovered your channel recently and I really think you deserve to be one of the most known bodybuilders on social media, keep it up pal and always remember that these kinds of videos will save hundreds of these young guys' life. Keep it up man !
Thank you for making this video.
Love the slippers !
Thanks for this content man. It's also great to have a natural reference like you, I hope to be one day as aesthetic an functional, so you can be really glad because you are inspiring a lot of guys like me to become better and healthier!
Stay natty guys!!!
Great message Tyler.
thanks bro, this helps a lot.
Great video
Mike Chang motivated me aswell back in the days. Looking back on it most vids were bad, however there were some good vids to about mindset.
Loved the message. Staying natty is the way to go.
Great Video Tyler, a great perspective to young people and one I wish I had during highschool. Would have started to work out earlier.
It's great to hear such an insightful take on this issue. Never listen to the comments calling you small; You're the king of aesthetics.
I love this type of video while walking and just listening to it
Huge respect. I am 5’7” 133 and have just started my fitness journey and it’s good to hear someone with a contrarian point of view for those who are newer to lifting so they learn how slow of a process building muscle is.
Health is the greatest wealth 🙏🏼
Doing to the gym without music can be also a good things sometimes to be more open
I like your vid, inspiring and motivating.
I'm 5'5", getting back in the gym just recently. I used to work out before but had to stop coz of lot's of reasons and lost all gains. I'm gonna try harder and better this time. You got great guide vids.
Definitely would love more of these types of videos, Tyler. I just got into the gym about 3 weeks - been tracking all my workouts, calories and macros. This is probably my 10th attempt at building a routine, and I finally did. The difference was this time I didn’t start going to the gym to get big or build muscle or to lose weight or look better. It was so I could just feel normal. My serotonin levels have been so low my entire life, it’s felt like I couldn’t be happy consistently ever. But going to the gym every day just makes me feel normal. Not particularly happy, but also not incredibly depressed and dark. I feel okay. And honestly this is the best outcome I could have wished for. 2 hours at the gym after work, eat, TV, sleep. That’s it. That’s my life. But I’m okay with that because this is a million times better than what it was before. Thank you, Tyler for always being a great role model and I’m proud of you for choosing this path of righteousness for the right reasons.
Thank you for sharing! Fitness can play a good role in everyone’s life regardless of their goals
@@tyler-path Yeah, that’s right. And I mean I would like to have a “look at me now” moment a year from now at the people that put me in this dark place, but the part where you said something along the lines of “fitness is not a means to an end” really resonated with me. I don’t think I can fully grasp that meaning yet because it is frustrating not getting the instant gratification we’re all used to from scrolling. But, I do know that I have something to do for a couple hours after work. I can fall asleep faster because my body is tired. It feels nice having a pump. If I can continue to appreciate these small wins and hopefully more, the stronger I get, maybe one day I’ll find myself satisfied or god knows maybe even happy with how I look in the mirror and then I’ll have that “i showed them moment” except it won’t be them. It would be me from before who didn’t think life could turn out this way. What I’m trying to say is fitness can also be seen as a way out of a hole that some people dig for themselves and were shoved into. And it’s people like you, Tyler, that offer a guiding hand in the journey.
Good video 💪
Haha shoutout to Mike Chang, I watched those vids in my early 20s too, helped get me started. Amazing the resources that are out there now!
I feel this 100% 🙌
Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary in the gym, I havent been able to build a massive amount of muscle but its noticeable by others. The gym taught me of who I am and what I can do. The gym for me isnt just about getting big or strong, its about finding myself and fix the things I lack in. Starting my 2nd year Ill be dailing in everything I have learnt and hammer it.
He's so well-spoken.
Very nice video. Respect! I will also forever stay natural and I might be able to make it on youtube one day. I think most people who take PEDs would never commit to fitness if they had to stay natural. We can't even compare training enhanced and training natural. Everything is just so so much easier when you are enhanced. Of course you are bigger stronger etc. but you recover so fast, you have mental energy to train, you can train longer, recover better and feel much better overall. People have no idea how much easier it is to train on PEDs. Most of enhanced guys would be nobody without drugs.
The fact that your physique isn't considered desirable for being too small is insane. Beauty standards have really become twisted over the past decade. When and why did people start trying to become hulking masses of muscle? Why has it become everyone's goal?
This was absolutely amazing!!!!! I could watch this more than once! And you are right, a lot of women find a nice lean natural physique wayyyyy better than a PED physique!!
its also good to mention before greg hopped on gear he had done 40 NATURAL bodybuilding shows(20-21 years of training natural), triathlons as a teen, and just wanted to overachieve to see where he can take bodybuilding. good video, im loving the Hybrid athlete approach to long life and being able to see progress and have fun at the same time! I havent watched your channel enough but thats my personal route nowadays without having to look forward to TRT after the age of 45 AT LEAST to maintain what we work so hard for. subbed up.
Good for you, dude. Longevity and health > vanity for social media 🤘🏼
Like the vid for my dude! Guys literally a diamond in the rough.
good message man. Natty forever!
I like the conversational/opinion videos
great video u earned a sub :)
There's no age limit on this advice. I'm older and just started working out and I appreciate your message.
Great video man. You have the ideal physique to me, super aesthetic.
Btw where did you get the couch from? Looks nice
Exactly. Has been my motto always. And honestly, I dont even have any inclination. Oh, and when you get compliments like "You look great, what stack are you taking?" it feels even better, because you could achieve something that others think is not easily possible
You’re the Goat 🐐 5’6 gang too🤟🏼
Make more vids like this bro I like it
Definitely do more of these. This really felt like I was getting advice from a friend who cares about my well-being. Been working out for 6 months, started with calisthenics and then moved on to bodybuilding 2 months ago. So far I've lost 38 pounds, I was really overweight before 😅 And recently had thoughts, not temptations, but just thoughts about what would happen if I used PEDS. And when you start flirting with that thought, that's when it becomes dangerous. Thank you for this bro! Much appreciated!
To you, dear reader. I was saved from a three year pornography addiction, and freed from heavy anxiety. Place your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified for the sin of the world, and then three days later rose again. You don't have to buy anything from a priest, just you and God, and ask for genuine forgiveness. Repent which means to have a change of mind. I promise it will be the best decision you could have ever made in your life.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
I follow and subscribe to you because you don’t do steroids because your natural I see what I can be what I can do without being on 50 different things appreciate this
I absolutely agree with you on this...
but if all the reasons you mentioned wasn't enough, I think I got another incentive why you should stay natural...
pride... to be proud of the capabilities of your body and how much it can achieve solely on it's own... with no enhancements whatsoever
Damn that's the best advice i've ever heard. Now i just wanted to find a way to be able to like working out with you or maybe even meet you in real life once🔥😁
You won’t be pressured to do PEDs because you were raised right, and have a good amount of self esteem, and aren’t looking for validation outside yourself. It’s easy to tell by listening to how you talk, and carry yourself.
*We NEED more people like you in the space*
Much respect to you, man. I remember when I saw the episode on Jubilee that you were in. People want to have a physique like yours.
People, if your goal is longevity, then I believe that using PEDs is counterproductive.
Tyler the Goat.
This video man. This is the real thing. Thanks to you I’m having amazing results in the gym going full natural. I can’t thank you enough, Tyler. I’m probably bigger than many of the people that like to detract you. They are the obvious idiots for not being able to grasp true gold.
You don’t need advice, but Stay strong anyways.
Who fucking cares about your size. What is important is that your balls are made of fucking steel, my dude. 🎉
Hey tyler amazing video, random question what's your computer desk and monitor arm? I have the same lian li case and would love your setup!
I wish more people would speak out about this. Big time respect man
Great inspirational story, someone out there who was gonnar oid, will see this and choose not to.
Great video. But the important question is...
Where did u get those shark slippers?! Shlippers?!!
Dont be like coach greg when he was younger, a 5’6 manlet shooting up roids
As someone who’s around 5’7 I’ll never understand it. Especially at my height, looking like a beefed up bulldog isn’t the move
Or Eddie Abbew
@@k-kraft2055 yeah I know a lot of guys at that height who remind me of chimpanzees lol but when they like that look who am I to tell them otherwise
He actually did 42 natural shows
@@NJ-500and he got caught for being unnatural in some of them…
On this topics I feel like motivation and surrounding influence are the main driving factors; I don’t see any any reason for PD because I constantly are self-motivated w/ a logical expectation on myself
So true, there is no way that Sam guy that RUclips keeps recommending to me makes it to 30
30 isn't that old on gear, lol. 50 or 60 though? Who knows.
Hey Tyler! Awesome vid! I have a question.. do you think if you were to continue to bulk hard you could get bigger and heavier? Or are you at your limit after years of testing?
I think strength relative to size is what matters, and you’re very strong & knowledgeable. Doing this all natural is way cooler than people taking steroids too
PED is like modifying a car's stock motor. It may go faster, but won't last as long as stock.
Love the video, also you will tend to notice that most people who are on PEDS are heavy... and it just looks unnatural and are heavier than they should be for their weight. I know BMI isnt anything to go off but even if its muscle the extra mass isn't good for your organs. This is why we probably should stick to a lean physique at the recommended BMI. As your body cant differentiate fat and muscle.
Cool thing is, Tyler, I actually trust and believe you! Hard to find these days. You are why I am in the gym. We have a ton of similarities in our genetics, size, bone density. You give me something that is very reasonably attainable!
Thank you man. Keep on grinding!
Tyler put in 9 years of hard work and dedication to get to where he is right now. Its kind of ignorant for you to casually say this is very reasonable attainable. Its 9 years of absolute blood, sweat and dedication. 90% of people in the gym wont even achieve this. Its not reasonably attainable. Attainable? Maybe. Is it going to be incredibly difficult both mentally and physically? Absolutely.
@BigronnieTriceps way to take it out of context, Karen.🤦♂️ I'm referencing the fact that in 10 years I too can attain a similar physique. I've been following him for about a year now and owe most of my knowledge to him and Jeff Nippard and a very few select others. Tyler and I HAD very similar body composition. From starting points when he started and where I was at when I started. He's about 9 years ahead of me.
All the behefits you gets around of the fitness is so much
1:20 is the same reason why I got in to working out. I wanna stay healthy, both mind and body. But if you start taking something to shorten your life, then it defeats the purpose.
