I bought your program maybe ten years ago because I felt my voice was leaving me. Unfortunately had to stop singing in 2011 because I was too sad that nothing helped. I became good at performing your exercises but my range suffered and my vibrato (already troubled) disappeared completely. I am still depressed because I AM a singer! But I can´t do it ....and I don´t know how to go on without it. I have your vibrato program as well.

Brett, back in the day I bought lots of videos or it was a pack of videos, I don't remember, it was a LONG time ago, then lost them. Then when I wanted to go back to singing, I realized you changed your business model, so I had no access to those vids anymore. Nevertheless, this video alone omg is amazing, I tried the NG exercise (after the other 3 before it) and OMG... it opened the range again so fast. It's incredible you are still around you are amazing thanks for sharing these videos. After failing trying to sing from zero again (or almost zero) just these exercises (and it doesn't have to be all of them) takes you to a warm ready spot so fast it's unbelievable these exercises work so well. I hope you will read this comment (no reply needed or anything) just wanted to THANK YOU mate, you don't have any idea (or maybe you do) how great you are. Bow to you.

That is what adds legitimacy to any vocal coach. While the vast majority can tell you that they can make you a great singer, only very few can prove they have done it over and over again.
@@joshbrucks Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check out her live videos. One thing I would keep in mind is that everybody has good and bad days, especially if they perform multiple times per week and the vocal chords tire. As for Brett Manning, his overall track record is amazing. I am not a purest, but when I included the sls techniques as taught by Seth Riggs and Brett Manning, It dramatically improved my own singing and my students. I feel that there are more than one legitimate schools of thought, everyone should develop certain fundamentals, but then choose a curriculum that matches the end result you are looking for, and customize it to fit your particular voice quality. @@joshbrucks I definitely hear you. There are singers with talent coming out of their ears who are really struggling. I think there are other factors that come into play. Sometimes in singing 3 of a kind beats the Royal flush. I hear a lot of singers now making the same mistake the guitar players made 20 years ago or so. Thinking of their craft as a sport, It's more about who can sing the highest and riff and run the fastest just like in the days when it was about who could play guitar the fastest. Often the person that wins the singing contest or gets the record deal is not the most technically advanced, rather the one who has the most powerful song, delivers it with emotion, style and make the audience believe every lyric.
