HELLO everyone, just to let you all know that, this was my actual First Reaction to Bee Gees, thought I lost it but going through my hard drive I actually found it so I have uploaded it now! Thanks and Happy Watching 😊
Robin started writing the lyrics to this on his plane ticket on the Concorde after reading about violence in New York City in the 70's (race riots, "Son of Sam" mass murders, poverty) so the song is actually quite serious. The beat of the song is used to teach CPR so a very appropriate title.
The Bee Gees were icons. Barry the one in the middle is still alive. His brothers on either side of him have passed away. Barry's falsetto so very awesome! Love your reaction! ♥
I am so glad you watched this. Too Much Heaven (Official Video) is also a must watch. All the music I recommended is this good or better. They are brothers, Barry Gibb in the center.
This song was released in 1977 by The Bee Jees. It and a few other songs are on the soundtrack of the movie Saturday Night Fever (1977), which stars a younger John Travolta.
Actually there were 4 Gibb brothers. Andy was the youngest & he passed away at 30. He was a solo artist but occasionally performed with the Bee Gees. I highly recommend checking out - Bee Gees - Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away) (Live in Las Vegas, 1997 - One Night Only). It`s a beautiful & touching tribute to Andy.@@shockwavereact
You need to check out . TO Much Heaven. Beautiful song all proceeds for unicef which was why Barry wrote and had them record the song as of today I believe they have raised over 10 million $ could be more . BeeGees forever❤❤
You should watch the you tube movie about the BeeGees top fifty songs and where they came from and where they are now. I believe they had top 10 songs in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.
Baby girl I am a 38 year old lady in uk I grew up with this music love Bee Gees check Dolly who was the writer and original singer of I will always love you. Dolly love Whitney’s version
This song is not that old - it came out in 1977. The Bee Gees are an Australian group (three brothers) and you can find some of the earlier music (performing on Australian TV) here on RUclips.
@@teviottilehurst Actually they are considered a British Australian group...so we are both correct. Their first chart successes were here in Australia and they still have a sister who lives here. Also there is a tribute walk to the Bee Gees in Redcliffe Queensland where Barry Gibb contributed stories and family home movies to which marks how significant Australia is to them.

Does anybody else remember when this first came out
Yes, I was 10.
Yes I’m 54yo now, it came from one of the best movies of all time “Saturday Night Fever”. I think in 1977. I saw it as a little kid
I’m 76, I sure do remember. Those were the days.
Barry is the only one now❤❤

These guys had decades of hits. Another Bee Gees song I`m sure you would enjoy is "Alone". Sad that Barry is the only one left.

That's 47 years ago, my confused friend. Yes, this is an old song.
@@shelbyseelbach9568 It's not that old if you were alive when it came out (I was 10 years old). A long time ago maybe but not old.
@@JulieS261 Sorry, but, ya, that's still old for a recorded song. It sucks, I know. But it is what it is.
British. All three were born on the Isle of Man. Never gave up their British citizenships. 👍
