Tom Aspinall will chew Alex Pereira. He's very quick for a heavyweight and he's very well rounded. I think he's the best heavyweight we got rn.
Well rounded skill against heavyweights. A guy in lower division always has more skills than heavyweight. Yes Tom looked very skilled against slow moving ,unskilled heavyweights but that does not mean he is more skilled in general. Heavyweights does not get diverse sparring partners to sharpen their skills as the lower weightclass fighters do as there are only few skilled heavyweights and most of the general population resemble with lower weight class

Hi Henry. You ignored some of the most important stats. Tom has most firsts in ufcstatleader tables for any of 4050 fighters with 1,1,1,1,3,4th ahead of miller, gsp and Oliveira with 3 1sts each. 1st Shortest av fight time, 1st strike differential at 4.95, 1st for least bottom pos time and 1st least bottom pos %. He has 3rd most strikes p min and 4th for knockdowns p 15 mins. He would be 2nd for sig strike accuracy if he met threshold of 350 strikes.
Toms loss to curtis blades was a freak injury legit.
This match will be very fun
Pereira is Dana's golden boy now. UFC won't risk ruin a rising star by putting him to fight 2 fights in a short period of time like that.
Moving parts here. 1 if curtis b beats Tom - shorter wrestlers are poss toms kryptonite - see what tom says about Cormier then jbj would accept pereira v jbj and wd be massive. Curtis has been overlooked by ufc before and wd be again. 2. If Tom fights pereira more likely tom wins = no jbj unification. Stipe been seen hobbling and is prob excuse for jbj not to lose.
They've done it before (izzy vs jan, connor vs nate, volk vs makhachev etc.), if the fighter really is down to do it ufc won't stop them.

. Calm and composed and timing, Alex has one of the best Timing which is why he is able generate so much power and Knock people out.
Also Alex knock downs mostly comes from counter attacks, which makes his punch more powerfull, as almost half of the power comes from opponent n Alex added enough force to knock the opponent down. 😬✌️👍👊👌👍✌️

Poaton literally came out just days ago and has actually 2 broken toes, had 1 before the Hill fight, then broke a 2nd in the fight. He’s not fighting on 301 at all, Henry must of made this before it released or something. Never happening, plus Alex said if he wasn’t injured, it might’ve worked but that he’s injured and he wants to keep his division moving, fighting every 3-4 months.
Aspinal will take him down and that’s where the round will end. I don’t think Alex can get up with 265 lbs of Aspinal laying on him. Alex has a chance to land something on the way in but that’s it. Unless Tom tries to strike which would be a terrible idea

We saw Alex at MW, so the idea of HW seems farfetched, but it's not, he's a natural LHW and a big one at that, the extreme thing was him making 185lbs. Done and done. He can beat Tom on the feet, but it's his grappling that's a big issue.
