Most of the stats on khamzat are are less accurate because he hasn’t fought a lot of tough competition and he hasn’t fought a lot of fights, or has had a single main event.

Khamzat Chimaev will win by submission. His wrestling game is elite and he won't allow robert whittaker to get back to feet. first round finish by submission. He didn't wanted to wrestle with Burns because of his Jiu-Jitsu and Kamara Usman made it because of good wrestling game. I don't see this fight going beyond 3 rounds.
Khamzat Chimaev is the most overrated fighter as of recently. No one's submitted rob before but he's gonna get submitted by Chimaev? Chimaev literally has 5 minutes to submit him because if he doesn't submit him in that first round he's gonna literally get picked apart for the whole fight.
Kamaru has good wrestling offence, until then we have never seen his w wrestling defence, he has good submission defence sure, but we have seen Roberts wrestling defence… it’s high af

Rob's resume of fighters he's fought:Romero,Izzy,Costa,Vetorri,Cannonier, Dricus. Meanwhile Chimaev Jingliang, Burns,Holland, and a Usman on 5 days notice 😂😂😂 huge gap in competition obviously but I don't expect his fanboys that started watching UFC 2 years ago to notice this.

This is very interesting fight !! Everyone are complaining about Khamzat has no gass tank ? Well i think Khamzat destroyed his lungs whe he got covid. He wasn't quit training and that cost him permanently health problems. He hospital a couple of times during training and spitting blood.
Khamzat has a true warrior heart. But the reaper is no joke ! Robert has fought 5 rounds a lot and has that championship mentality. He can keep his pace for 5 rounds and keep the opponent on distances with his jab and kicks. Chimaev, if he gets you he and put you on the mat ... you have to have a good wrestling defence.
Not to mention ddp controled rob and put him in a darce and rob was gassed in the 2nd round!!!
The Usman fight was 2-3 years after he got C19. That's not an excuse. And what health problems does he have right now?

@@markrichardson937 I just said how he's a gatekeeper. Being a former champion doesn't exclude you from being a gatekeeper, but he lost to Izzy and DDP. DDP then got a title shot off beating him, and if Khamzat wins he'll get a title shot too. If Robert wins that's a different story, but as of right now he is kind of a gatekeeper. Whether or not he can beat DDP in a rematch doesn't mean anything at the moment. Maybe we just have slightly different ideas of what a gatekeeper is.

Have you not noticed that he's only a huge takedown threat in the first round though? He'll probably take Rob down in the first round but if he doesn't submit him early he's in for a rough night considering he uses all his strength early. Anything can happen but you have to favor rob for his experience and the fact that he's never been submitted in the UFC before, and good takedown defense.
I think if it gets passed 3, Khamzat is going to spend the last 2 rounds just trying to survive. Hope I'm wrong though because the MW division needs some shaking up and Khamzat is a dog.
