- I visited the set of Netflix's ONE PIECE live action series! Now, I'm FINALLY able to share my full One Piece live action set visit experience with all of you, complete with some mind-blowing behind-the-scenes easter eggs & world exclusive BTS footage you won't see anywhere else! Massive thank you to Matt Owens and the entire cast and crew of ONE PIECE for having us in Cape Town, South Africa!

I can’t stress enough how good it feels to finally be able to post about OPLA now! 😭
Massive thanks to those of you were patient with me throughout the strike. I know it must’ve been frustrating but there’s a LOT more coming from me from here on out!

You 2 are such a beautiful couple and she's a big fan, too. Have you two considered doing couple reactions for chapters? No other channel has it, and it would be so cool to join you and see you both notice details and have ideas and read chat together. It's the last major Arc of the series, now would be a great time to at least try it out. She's so pretty and smart she has no reason to be nervous. The community will love her. I know OP reactions tend to be a 'bros hangout' kind of, but I'm a girl and there are lots of us every time. More than you guess, I bet. Just an idea, you'd stand out, and a thumbnail with you AND her would fetch even viewers, I bet. She clearly knows her OP, she'll be great. Just a thought. And only if she'd like to give it a shot.

@@xzil2167yeah they got a minimum pay increase of 7%, bonus pay for being in streamed, and there voices are protected from ai use all in all a really good deal to get from the strike

You know it was a good Live Action when a fan on set feels as if they were transported into the story itself. I smiled so much hearing things like, "I'm right where Zoro and Mihawk fought!" or "I'm wearing Luffy's hat!" said with so much genuine emotion. The One Piece is real everybody
but can we get much higher?
@@gloriaborger7265 Yes aslong as you tune in the bigger the budget the better.Same from anime and manga the crew start from scratch to top tier.Be patience my friend well get there.
The set locations are MASSIVE. I honestly can't wait to see the sets for Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, and Alabasta!

Living in South Africa is makes me proud that OP was filmed here . So much love was put into this show and it makes me as a 25 year old one piece fan so darn happy

I'm really glad how committed everyone to this project. One Piece live action really paved the way for breaking the anime live action adaptation curse! I'm starting to put my faith to Netflix in case they are planning to do more live action project in the future! 👏👏

Props to you and everyone else working in the realm of One Piece for being supportive of strike efforts, whether its content creators like yourself waiting to release BTS and promotional videos, the ENG voice actors having to remind fans at cons that they can't discuss the LA show because it was struck work, etc... Tons of respect towards those who were patient despite how tough it must have been to stay quiet.
Can't wait to see the set design for S2 since it was one of the biggest highlights this season on selling the aesthetic and vibe of the show!

@@-Teague- yes, I live a little bit more than half an hour drive from where they shot the marine base scenes. And actually a little bit closer to the studio lot where the Going Merry was (and still is) standing.

Well worth the wait!! Amazing behind the scenes of all the props! The set of Logue Town is SO COOL! They did the villains justice in this live action, Kuro and Arlong are who hit me into One Piece & I couldn’t be happier on how they were portrayed. Cannot wait to see the Frazier character me like Chopper in season 2 !

I've been waiting for this video to go up on YT but I'm actually glad that you are uploading it now after OPLA has aired. If I had watched this before, I wouldn't recognize all of the props, costume and sets. I would probably forget all about this by the time I stream OPLA.
