The cabover is one of a few of the best-looking trucks on RUclips. I say if it's not broke don't fix it. Leave it as is all low milage and original. Cabover would be nice with dual stacks though :-)
As a long time driver who drove trucks like that and older back in the day, quit screwing around with it. Every truck doesn't have to have dragging front bumper, 18 speed transmission and aluminumwheels. Appreciate the White for the truck it is and use it the way it is. It'll give you a better appreciation for the drivers that came before you.
I do think the white should be left alone, it’s a great truck the way it is, and it’s not as if it’ll be doing any long hauls with that day cab, the w900 with a wash and clean out, some tires that hold air and maybe some new air lines and a bag or 2 could make a nice bit of pocket change

That's a good KW to rebuild. Mines a 78 with a studio sleeper. It belonged to!y dad. We have the exact same trailer and it works excellent hauling heavy machinery. Thats good u got it started up. Allot of our drivers own old KW'S and one driver has one like the one in the video and he has owned it for a very very long time. He had a big heavy duty wrench on the back of it and he does heavy duty equipment loads all the time and he loves it.

White Collar needs the big motor w/ a few mods (just a few)and little stretch then run it in a stock style pulling class and use it on the street for work. It would be a SICK pulling truck.
Here everyone calls em landolls or hydra tail trailers depending on whether or not the tail lifts and drops or the axles slide forward and backwards to lift the bed. Love the cab over! Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
need to see that engine in White Collar fs, that KW body looks decent plus really good cab for being so old, i'm sure somebody out there would prefer to just get the roller to fix it up and not have to worry about a mechanical overhaul
Bruce when applying new grease to the 5th wheel you really should raise the trailer and back under it then lower it on to the greased 5th wheel. Otherwise it scrapes all the grease onto the tip on the trailer. 2:35 all that grease gone to waste on the tip instead of on the rotating area under of the trailer. that being said i think you should keep white collar stock and upgrade the trans/AC/brakes. its a good work horse.
3406 was always my favorite truck engine. Back in the day we ran big cam 350 & 400's. The 3406 had so much more low end torque. Those Cummins were good engines but they're no match for the Cat.
Definitely KEEP the W900 as is get it road worthy…already has the wet kit so if you buy the landall you’ll have a sleeper as well. Interior looks good. #SaveTheW900
I like the a model in the back ground and you should use the motor and trans for the white cabeover and man I wish I was there I could of showed you a quick and easier way to chain that down
I'd leave white collar alone and stick to the plan of having blue collar be the big-power build, video just proved how useful it is as-is as a day-service/-shop semi for smaller jobs/ errands.
Bruce, My 2 cent's are keep White Collar the way it is, just put dual exhaust and Shiny Alcoas all around. Put some $$$ into the KW and sell it, that baby needs to be back on the road.
I love KW but out of the two trucks I would keep white collar with that trailer. I no longer have a CDL but I would work the crap out of white collar around our area. I would just put not for hire on the door and get to work.
Keep the kw maybe pay Timmy and his crew to go through it bring it back to life would be great content for both channels you could hook it to the new trailer and run it for local tractor hauls ....it is blue

I’d personally leave them both like they are. Last thing you need to do is start another project before getting Blue Collar done. I’m also not sure someone would pony up 10k for the truck like it sits or even 5k for a roller. Seems a bit high priced.
You could lot more out of the B model then that 3306 just depends how bad shape the KW is in you could make that 3406 really get down with a fuel pump and timing mods and bigger nozzles

Personally, I like the White just like it is, especially teamed with that trailer. I hope you can get that trailer or one like it for really good price. I actually dream of finding a good old truck like that KW and having the time and money to fix it up. It’s been a life long dream of mine. I enjoyed the content 👍

White collar should be kept original. I would just turn it up, add a nice front bumper, aluminum wheels and air conditioning. That trailer is a perfect mate, you should buy it.
Don't swap the engines. The white collar runs and drives great plus is all original.

There is nothing cool about that cabover they sucked when they were new and they still suck just because it’s old doesn’t make it cool!

If you buy the trailer put a high idle switch for tr cabover to help te hydraulics run faster and even use it for local deliveries

Id Keep the w900 some of the classic w9s are hard to get get it rebuilt and have it be another show or road rig to have someone drive

You should use header rap on the exhaust it's a little to close to the wet tank just food for thought

Couldn't you just put a 425 pump and injectors in white collar and do the same thing?? And flip the W9? Check into it great will it start love it.

I'd vote sticking to the plan. If unique is what you seek. 3406B/13 spd (Axles?) to White Collar and let someone else deal w/W900.

B model Cat in the cab over differently!!! Convert it to air to air with the right nozzles and turbo and fuel pump modes could be a 600hp BEAST!!!
