Although i was good at writting task 1, i committed several mistakes in prepositions. Now i feel weigh more confident.Thnk u so much for this nice piece of lecture.

Thank you again for having published this video. It is fantastic and useful for me as I describe graphs about a weather forecast. Honestly, I would like to pass IELTS test, but I should improve my English before. For example I could write: according to the latest forecasts a new heatwave is expected during the next week. Consequently, there will be a considerable increase in temperatures, reaching a peak on half week. In fact, the high will rise by 5 degrees between today and Thursday. After, the temperatures will decline gradually, coming back to seasonal average.
hey just want to tell you that I accidently found your website and went to this youtube channel, your explanation videos and illustration are very helpful. I feel like I was taught by a real teacher right beside me. thank you so much
This is one of the topics of my exam subject, and I could not understand it now, after watching this lecture. I understood it well. Thank you very much

@@WoodwardEnglish I already share with some people. If possible, please make some videos for Ielts with writting samples and reading tricks. Many are working very hard on these two.
@@WoodwardEnglish can you make video on prepositions. In general, I mean apart from preposition of time and place, this is making me so confused. I would be grateful if you make a video and explain conceptually as you did in this video.
Yes! This was so helpful !Thank you! I find it so useful as I was confused on deciding what prepositions to use as I am practicing for my IELTS test. Please include more for Academic IELTS☺
@@WoodwardEnglish Awesome I hope you can create a video about present perfect for Academic IELTS Writing 1 one day and also if you could use a video on when to use compared to vs compared with :)
Your lesson for IELTS is awesome. I'm happy if you could create other lessons for IELTS. I'm taking the exam but I'm in trouble to make a complex subject in Task 1 like the number of X in ..etc I also get trouble when I decide put -s after the word like number and amount.
See this lesson about the S after an number: ruclips.net/video/55zC1qbO9lc/видео.html I will eventually add more IELTS lessons but not any time soon. They take me a LONG time to create.
It is an incredibly useful video 😍! Tanks a lot! But can I ask a question? I didn't quite catch why we should use AT in the construction "It dropped by 8 units to its lowest point AT 2 units in 2008" (17:20)? You described 3 option of using AT: 1) after start/ end, 2) with to peak, 3) when the trend remains constant. However, it seems that these options are not suitable for the sentence I'm asking about 🤷♀️. Thanks in advance for the reply🙏
Hi, thanks alot I find this video very useful. Do you have this channel only? have you ever taught other parts of writing task 1 such as maps or pie charts? Plz produce more videos about ielts writing

Nice video but i have one question that " it was sold" means passive form, what is difference between these two sentences "it was declined" and "it declined".
In the case "It was declined" decline has a different meaning, it means "it was not accepted" Also, I wrote about the Passive voice here: www.grammar.cl/Notes/Passive_Voice.htm
Though the lesson was nice sir😭 but I am unable to understand the use prepositions 🤦♀️ only 1st part I understood that if the number is not specific we use (in)and if their is number then we use (of) verb part also I understood but then while implementing I made many mistakes
