You want to “go fast” for the same reasons I and every other middle aged man wanted to “go fast” back in the day when Corvettes, Mustangs and exotics like Lambos were the fastest production vehicles made. And even today, at 56, I still love the sensation of ripping down a freeway on ramp every so often. I’ve had cars that were, and still are legitimately quick even by modern standards but no where near as mind numbingly fast as a Tesla. You have to understand, zero to sixty in less than 3 seconds was considered super car territory just 12-15 years ago and even now there are half million dollar hyper cars that can’t best a plaid in raw acceleration. It’s addictive. I get it. But take it from an old man and retired first responder, it’s also a deadly game you’re playing brother. Be safe and don’t drive faster than your angels can fly!

Yes that is what we did. Took the long range for a drive, then took the performance for a drive. The performance is well worth the extra dollars. The suspension, bucket seats make for a superior drive
I'm in my fourties, got a 2022 M3 Performance - at first it's mind blowing acceleration but you get used to it and no matter how much power you have, eventually you always want more! For me personally i just want more upper end, it feels weak accelerating at 70mph+ but it's not in reality it's just not the ludicrous pull you get at the lower speeds. If you feel the need for speed, you always want more!
I ordered the dual motor instead of the performance because in Canada the $5000.00 rebate does not apply to the performance and the performance is almost less than 100km range that the dual motor gives.
My sister brought one of the first Tesla s D90 ..... We went to Lunch I follow her in mustang GT .... By the time I got around the on ramp , she was already gone !!!
I can totally relate! I bought a M3LR and traded it in for the Performance after only 950 miles on the odometer. lol I'm so happy now knowing that I can beat 99% of the cars on the road everywhere I go. 😁

So you ordered it before Tesla switching out the high-voltage battery pack so their 2024 Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive ended up $7,500-federal-tax-credit qualified practically overnight. Thought your regret's buying too early in the year.

I have seen so many RUclipsrs that bought their Ultra Red 2024 M3P early in the year only to miss out on getting their included FSD software package at point of sale now with Tesla's latest deal, practically free. There goes to show optional paint color is like software, the best kind is free!!
My 19yr old son just bought the M3P and he loves it! My first time driving a Tesla and I think the M3P is a great buy! Will update if anything comes up.

couple of suggestions for your next videos my man, use a voice enhancer like the adobe podcast or the one built in da vinci resolve, you'll thank me later for the quality result you get for only 1 click. Don't feel pressure for buying good cameras yet, if you have a good phone stick with it and focus on improving your sound quality for now, if you're planning indoor videos then go for lighting first instead of cameras, and make sure to listen to the final video with different audio sources (speakers, headphones, phone speakers, etc) that way you'll know if the music is not on top of your voice or both audios are too high. Other than that good start, good info and well packed into a not so long video since is not monetised but it'll help you for the requirements

@@EddyGoesTesla a video i see almost every other content creator lacks would be the daily/monthly real cost of having a M3 bro, like if you charge on super chargers or at home, how often you charge OOH, how much your power bill went up etc. Also in terms of insurance, any kind of maintenance even tho i know teslas doesn't need a legit maintenance as opposed to an ice car, but all of that info that usually flies under the radar would be awesome, as well as your own delivery day checklist would be great i will for sure see those videos my bro, keep it up :)

There really aren't many people in the US who should be ALLOWED TO DRIVE ANY CAR with Tesla level performance, let alone 4.2 or 2.9s 0-60

That's why I went with the m3p. All those times of being cut off while driving a slow 160 hp ICE vehicle are no more.
