So Noah. The places you were fishing in today reminded me of some of the ponds I used to fish in years ago. I could reach the bank across from me and I had a lot of success throwing a lunker lure or Texas rigged worm onto the bank instead of the edge of the bank/water. I would ease the worm into the water like a baby snake. Kabamb! Same for the lunker lure. As gently as possible but fast enough so that the blades would start spinning right away. Caught some nice ones that way if I remember right. That was like 30 - 40 years ago. I'd love to see you use that technique and get slammed just after the lure eases into the water. It'd be really cool to watch on a video and sure would bring back some memories.

Me and my cousin love randomly watching your channel! We don't get out to fish as much recently because both of our mothers have been going through health issues and life just gets in the way. We both grew up fishing, there's nothing like finding random 2ft-5ft deep, long creeks with monsters in them! We've gotten kicked out of a couple of golf courses that actually have beautifully colored HOGS in their ponds, back when we were teens just tryin' to fish any body of water we could. Haha.
Road and reel combo color is so slick, I've always wanted one but it's one of those luxuries I've put off. I love rocking my small Bass Pro combo for big fish, makes for a good fight no matter the fish. Keep up the videos! You can tell you enjoy makin' these!

Dude your actually one of the best RUclipsrs ever. I’ve caught my first bass this year and it was a 2 pound smallmouth out of a river. You catch giant fish tho! It’s hard catching largemouth here bcuz we don’t have a lot of ponds but we still can. But love your content and keep it up my man!

great video. still only in 40-50 degree range air temps here in PA. struggling to get pond bass. my son found a nice smallie at the river yesterday but thats all. any suggestions for ponds that are full of the snotty, slimy grass that we constantly have to clean off our baits every cast. its literally like slime. try topwater but still have work around it on topwater as well and temps still kinda low for topwater some days. as always we love your videos and appreciate what you do.

Hey Noah, is it possible, that in lakes and ponds that get heavily fished that lures won’t work anymore? There’s a pond by me. Where you can put the lure in front of them when you see them and they look and swim away. I switch to live bait and start pulling them in like crazy. I’d love to know the answer
The bass in my pond haven't started really biting yet. 2 bass bites so far, both on a wacky rig. Lost the first one and the second one didn't grab ahold of it. Still waiting for them to fire up.

Bass down here in S Florida do not like a beetle bou jig near their beds. They will hammer them.
Just curious, ive been fishing a smaller lake a lot in the last month and i can't get the bass to bite a craw for anything. Caught 2-4 lbs on flukes and worms but the craw and jigs are just dead. Am I working the bait wrong or do they not want craws? Any ideas? Just trying to widen my arsenal.

Man I wish their were bass in Texas and it’s so funny it is called a Texas rig but you basically can’t use it in Texas bc no bass😊
