Inkanyamba at Sacred Groves is the worst box by far, IMO. Way too much to keep track of and a brutal experience most of the time. It’s a treadmill of misery… though the location is cool with other villains. Losing to the Poltergeist in Creech Manor feels way better to me, regardless of the circumstances. And it has that draw of being a familiar theme.
I don't think so, her closest western culture reference is like the witch from Hansel and Gretel. She lures kids into her moving forest house to eat them. This seems more like a vengeful nature spirit.
There is actually an Inkanyamba from African folklore, which the Inkanyamba in South African mythology is a giant serpent which feeds off of lightning, and lives in this waterfall area in the northern forests. In stories its destroyed a house in a gorge and will occasionally will attack a village. Altho the FG Inkanyamba is definitely not that, it is nice to see that Inky is based off of something, altho it is extremely vaguely.
