    I’ve got a set of CK ratchet cable cutters! Cost a bomb but had them 10+ years and still work. Never had them sharpened either!

    I have 2 sets of cone cutters from lidl £4 each and I use them on DBs, metal enclosures etc all the time with no problems I find them better than holesaw for anything 32mm and under

    Good video this mate, I have a few of the things you have. My cone cutters cost about £8 and have had them about a year, drill metal, plastic and even back of kitchen units for sockets at times, still as sharp as when I got them. Also camera is a life saver.
    Thanks for the cheap brother tape refills aswell will definitely be ordering some of them 👍🏻

      Them tapes are well worth a try mate. I can honestly say that since I’ve bought each printer the only time I’ve ever used an official brother tape was the ones that comes with them. Crazy prices

    I've got the preciva crimpers... They aren't half bad. Look similar to the knipex model at a fraction of the price..

    • @ElectricianTV
      @ElectricianTV  4 года назад +1

      I’ve not had any issues with them and to be honest I favour them over my SWA version

      @@ElectricianTV it's a relief to see that not every spark in the world is picky over tools. I've seen many people say knipex and wera and so on for so long, it's hard as a student to afford the right tools at a decent price when starting out and sometimes just because one looks like a rip off of another doesn't mean its dogshite. Cheers for the heads up on some of the other tools you have shown in this and other videos Will. Can I ask what ferrules you use seeing as you chucked out the crimps that come with the crimper?

    • @ElectricianTV
      @ElectricianTV  4 года назад +2

      Definitely mate you can only get what you can afford there’s no point wasting your money on the stuff that you don’t need if there’s any particular told that use quite often then trade yourself when you can.

    Nice one will. Im new to site work and electrical work .What do you think when you go on site to work for a firm . And alot of the sparks on the firm dont have tools with them and you're forever lending tools and they are definitely on a higher day rate ? Any videos of tips for site work ?

    • @ElectricianTV
      @ElectricianTV  4 года назад +1

      It’s a tricky one Harry because I would never lend them tools. There is always people trying to take advantage of good people.There is a reason why they haven’t got their tools.

      Not really mate it’s all smoke screens and mirrors I’ve been in the game for 25 years and I do domestic commercial and a lot of testing plus it’s not just me. And Crystal clearly you can see I’m an absolute sucker for tools. Tax Man or tools.
