It's been a very delightful and productive day today!
From opening sweet treats delivered to my PO Box, to trying out new sewing techniques and then getting more of my Christmas dress completed...What a good day!

Rolled hems are really tricky! I find I have to use my fingers to make sure the fabric is folding correctly as I sew, I can’t just let the foot do the work as it goes wonky so easily! Maybe try pre-pressing the seam at first to help you get started?

A skirt is a great idea for that art deco style fabric. There's several free skirt patterns out there or you can just copy one of your own skirts. Your dress is coming along so cute. It's going to be as pretty as the dress you made last year.😍
