A few little speed bumps slowed down the progress of finishing my Bear Paw quilt today. But onwards and upwards, we push through and it'll get done eventually!

Hi, Amanda -- I truly love, love, love this quilt so much! I may have to make one after Christmas :) -- Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us about this process, too! The same thing happens to me all the time -- I cruise along, satisfied in my decisions, then I have to choose something or something goes wonky (like I've run out of fabric) and then you sort of lose your mojo a bit! But you figured it out and it is even better than the original plan, I think! I love the brown -- and you used a big hunk of fabric you already had -- that has to make you feel good! I love when that happens! Anyway, LOVE this quilt -- I just can't get enough of looking at it! Thank you!
I love the warm brown for the backing, and a strip of the bear claw is a great idea. Beautiful quilt!

Hello! I've pieced my last three quilt backs. While they turned out looking lovely, it did slow me down. I totally understand your feelings of low motivation. Hang in there Friend!!! The quilt looks amazing!!! 💜🎄
That color palette isn’t one I usually gravitate toward, but I really like your quilt! Using leftover fabric from the front is something I do on my quilts so I have fewer scraps to deal with!

I do a lot of piecing on the back of quilts 🎉❤
Charlie is such a good helper. Spare quilt blocks as backing is actually
a quite common solution for using up leftover fabric. Orange and brown are not my colors, but I really like your quilt. Wouldn't mind having it on my sofa as a fall highlight.

As always, a very nice vlog. Hello to Charlie! We had our first snow on Thursday while you were so hot. Ways of the world I guess. Good idea to piece the blocks for the back of the quilt. I don't do that because I can never line the front up with the back properly. You're supremely talented!!!
