The series was on a break during lockdown due to no fans at the games, seems to me like it messed up the RUclips algorithm as it often happens when you don’t post regularly. It recommends the video less nowadays. Shame really, the quality is even better than before. But I bet if Smiv keeps at it, the views will skyrocket again, consistency is key.
Catchment area is littered with other clubs, league and non league ,plus they're only mid table & playing at the lowest level/step they've ever been at !
We always welcome RUclipsrs at Shaftesbury FC 1888 in the Pitching In Southern League South. One of our ex players George Bennett plays for Alton. Btw Tooting & Mitcham United's old ground at Sandy Lane had a massive stand and crumbling terraces. Good you are showcasing our levels.
Tooting and Mitcham legend...fun fact ...this was the 70s Chelsea training ground ...ossie webby chopper et all...Palace bought it later and sold it to TM ...the ground has the spirit of Chelsea past ..great video
I grew up in one of the houses opposite the stand, across Poulters Park, and that’s why I’ve supported Chelsea since the late 60s. I spent many hours down there autograph hunting and chasing overhit balls. Another good thing was going to watch the youth team games on a Saturday morning before heading off to the Bridge afterwards. Eddie Mcreadie’s promotion winning team of 77 was largely composed of those I’d been watching for 2 or 3 years already.
Not sure if it’s a controversial opinion or not, but I prefer the non league games! Feels like Smiv has more freedom and speaks to more interesting characters! Also, so many teams to go and visit up and down the country, so hopefully the series can keep running for many more years!
Can you do on the road to waldstone in the FA Cup vs Wycombe as it’s the FA Cup round 2 and waldstone hasn’t got to the 2nd round in 40 years as well and there burger van in the ground or around the ground are really good I heard.
Smiv, your ‘on the road’ series is really cool and it’s nice to see good perspectives on different stadiums across the UK. A suggestion for a future video: As a Liverpool fan, I want you to go to Anfield, as I think you would really love it. Also, question: In your opinion, which was the worst ‘on the road’ trip you’ve ever been. Best wishes, Smiv, keep up the great content!
You should come to a Great Yarmouth Game Smiv. World's oldest stand and the Amber Wave make a fabulous atmosphere. Should come on a Saturday though as that's when we have the Drum.
Get yourself to Cambridge City on the 30th November, if they have moved into their new gaff at Sawston which we should hear more on soon. First game at their own ground since 2013 after being unceremoniously turfed out by their landlords, the council and the FA, having been groundsharing at Histon or St Ives since then. They’re also nicknamed the Lilywhites so you are contractually obliged to get yourself down.
Theatrically, if you was to go to a packed out non league ground with decent facilities, less than a tenner a ticket, a couple of food vans with weird but wonderful food and Dr Pepper I think we’d have a winner
Nice one you 2B pencil. Another top OTR yup back again. Great to see Charlie last week. I'm sure I speak for many, we can't wait to see him again. 😊 That ground looks a bit like Curzon Ashton (Manchester area) I guess the manager was a bit of a melt. Non league videos like this is what helps small clubs.
Great stuff. Curried goat is the mutts nuts when done well. I'd like your next excursion to be one which takes you through the width restriction without veering from the quickest route 😊
As a Kidderminster fan honestly you can’t beat it been to one or 2 villa games but you can’t match the sense you get at a non league game especially if you have a well supported non league club like me
Proper fucking football, slowly falling out of love with the premier league, either non league or go and experience football in a different country for half the cost
Hey smiv great vid as always and I would love to see you to to Kidderminster harriers (my team) vs Halesowen on the weekend kiddy are 8 unbeaten in the league and Halesowen have sold 1K away tickets great ground too
Stadium ground one hundred and fifty nine next OTR on the road.😮 Wish you come to a Balham fc home match instead, to help let others know of this club. 10:53 My suggestion is Southampton fc for premier League because they do general sale tickets which is rare in premier League😅 You been Southampton for going premium on channel. Always good to keep local grounds to you as CLAPTON CFC and barking fc as local options. Lincoln city and fc Morecambe. Kingstonian who play in Raynes Park vale this season do a raffle which you might win someday. :) 9:23 CLAPTON CFC Perhaps? They do pay what you want entry so no one will miss out.
Still can't believe they attempted to stop ya filming! Never would happen if you made the trip to Yate Town football club, their stewards are too busy fetching lost footballs from the tall trees surrounding the ground with a plank of wood!
Your all time OTR record is 78 wins 33 draws and 36 losses and a goal total of 263-177
Wow! Love this, can you do amount spent on tickets? And food and drink? 👀👀
and 1 raffle win
@@smivadee what happened to the website?

I dont understand how this channel has gone downhill in views so bad recently. The content is still quality
I don't either. Pre COVID the channel was doing insane views

@@mz7023 Charlie is also a big miss
Smiv what's the cut-off for the "old man" voice you do for when the club is founded?!
From what I remember 1946, though there may well be exceptions
Come to matlock Town, it has a castle on a hill behind the goal, and the pies are worthy of 5 stars
Looks a proper setup there! Surprised they don't get more in.
A few relegations have meant the club has lost a lot of fans but now slowly heading in the right direction
Catchment area is littered with other clubs, league and non league ,plus they're only mid table & playing at the lowest level/step they've ever been at !
Ah yes, stop filming the Tooting & Mitcham game, just in case you illegally livestream it and steal Sky Sports’ revenue and millions of views 🤣
Would look so good packed out in the first round of the FA cup

Great memories for me my grandson was at the academy at Tooting spent 2 years watching him play there
Always grateful to Tooting and Mitcham for Izzy Jones. UTB🔴 great video as always Smiv

Brilliant vlog. Man, that curry goat looked amazing... and the football wasn't bad either.
You should come to a Great Yarmouth Game Smiv. World's oldest stand and the Amber Wave make a fabulous atmosphere. Should come on a Saturday though as that's when we have the Drum.
You do have big community so the idea of all going for non-league match would be fantastic. Hope you will make that event in London. Keep us updated.
I’ve been spoiled with a raffle win, I expect em every week. Also, I’m definitely stealing shooting and tooting.

Looks a very nice ground.
Aberystwyth Town flag girth is absolutely phenomenal

That is a brilliant ground for that level. Nice old school terraces!
It sure is!
You know what Smiv would love to go non league game with you !!!!!! ❤
It's about time you came to Kettering!
6:16 funny, the algorithm decided to insert an ad break when this blackout happened
Come to wycombe wanderers we’re flying in league one, top at the moment and the pies are lovely
On the roaaaad, yep back again!
Some reason I just haven’t seen an upload from you in ages…. Time to catch up on content!
This looks class
The ground looks smashing for non-league football; just wish the team that plays in it is higher up the pyramid so as to draw more fans. Great video!
Used to be the postman there. Proper club

That’s a tough tough ask right there! Almost an impossible one
@smivadee Not sure of the locality, just thought it would be a good idea
Great ground, great food, as you say, would be nice to see the ground full.
Absolutely
Definitely need a new IPSWICH TOWN! I might even let you use my season ticket! 🚜
I’ll need a little heads up for the OTR awayday. Gotta get on a plane.
Go to Swansea. You did Cardiff years ago so it's only fair you do them too.
Been waiting on this !

Glad you enjoyed it
Non league is so much better than the prem. can’t relate to the prem players anymore. These non league players give it their all and care. Love it

Big fan of the idea for an organised non league OTR get together. Is non league day still a thing?
Proper fucking football, slowly falling out of love with the premier league, either non league or go and experience football in a different country for half the cost
Exactly non league is proper football shit yes but you don’t get an experience anywhere near it in the prem
You need to travel up to South Shields FC Smiv! Well worth the trip
