Gutted I didn’t know you’d turned up to watch. I played in the game 😂 Dronfield - Number 4. Been watching since day dot, when you consider we’re the only club not to pay players at this level, the clubs facilities are unbelievable and we’re not doing too bad in terms of league position. Class video again. UTT 🔴⚫️
This is big Smiv my friend. Would have been easy to just enjoy the football yourself, so as someone who will never see Sheffiel.. I mean Dronfield Town play at home, thanks for taking us all along!

A cable reel is a round, drum-shaped object such as a spool used to carry various types of electrical wires. Cable reels, which can also be termed as drums, have been used for many years to transport electric cables, fiber optic cables and wire products. Cable reels usually come in four different types, each with their own uses: wood, plywood, plastic and steel.

@@wimbledan that is understandable i liked your comment bro And do you think Manchester City in champions league will be good for OTR on the road if he can attend that?😊
Brilliant video smiv, and thanks for coming and shining a light on little Dronny Town (even if it was by mistake) we really are a brilliant club. Boys from u7 and girls from u9s one of which my daughter plays for and I coach (u11 reds). Keep doing what you do mate love the videos
Greetings to all from Chile, excellent videos, how about you go to Goodison Park before they demolish it? I went 5 years ago, excellent place with very nice and historic facilities. Thanks for your videos showing the stadiums in England!!
Those circular wooden table like things you saw are called cable drums and are mainly used in warehouses to store hundreds of metres of tubing and cables. Even though there secondary use nowadays is to be makeshift coffee tables for hipsters
Smiv! The wooden table that you are asking about are what high tension electrical wires are shipped on. I think it’s a spool of wire. I cold be wrong but that’s what it looks like. Brilliant video as usual. Thanks for highlighting clubs we wouldn’t normally see.
Happy 100 Smiv! You’ve definitely got to come up and see Chesterfield soon. Not too far from Sheffield FC and Dronfield Town. 97 years in the football league before being relegated a few seasons back. Looks like we’re well on our way back to the promise land… a fairly new ground, shambolic refereeing and most importantly, we serve Dr Pepper! What do you want from the National League?!
This is big Smiv my friend. Would have been easy to just enjoy the cable reels as tables yourself, so as someone who probably will never see cable reels as tables, thanks for taking us all along! :)
Gutted too, travelled from Bristol to see the the mighty Blues (Frickley) and would have loved to say hello. You must visit Westfield Lane, as featured in Mike Bayly's British Football’s Greatest Grounds: One Hundred Must-See Football Venues
Another excellent video Smiv and happy 100 grounds mate! Good to see you found a replacement last second to Sheffield FC postponement. To be honest Matt, Dronfield Town was your third time down into the 10th tier (step 6) of English football (Thurlow Nunn League Div. 1 - Coggeshall Ut 2020/21 and Hashtag Utd 2018/19). Cheers, Matt! Keep up the great work. EDIT: I just noticed that I officially passed the 2-year membership mark with you. That FIFA World Cup trophy looks beautiful next to my name.

Congrats on your "ground 100th"!! A fan since last year when I found the Pride Park video. As a huge football fan from South Korea 🇰🇷, we never have the chance to see non-league football here. I just love the atmosphere of non-league football. (A.F.C. Rushden & Diamonds being one of my fav teams. I honestly don't know why but I do. Lol) Anyways, keep up the good work Smiv!! Loooove your vids! BTW, can you visit the Emirates Stadium...? Want to see Spurs & Hammers fan reacting to the Gunners! 😅
A lesson to all clubs about communicating better with your fans. Sheffield F.C. could have been featured but Smiv ended up at a lower league side, had a reasonably good time and gave them some good exposure.
Hi Smiv, top vid as always.... You should check out sandygate, Hallams ground. been getting some amazing attendances for the level they are at. Atmosphere is bang on... especially on non league day.... Also if you are going to replan Sheffield FC. Maybe come when they finally move back to Sheffield in the new stadium!
Get up to Wrexham sometime. Oldest international ground in the world. Owned by supporters since owners tried to destroy the club. Bought by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Macelhenney during 2020. Always love the videos Smiv👍

It's even more appropriate that the 100th episode of On The Road is a non-league team. Sure, seeing a huge club like Celtic or Bayern or PSG would be fun, but OTR really has it's roots in non-league; seeing an 8th tier team for the centenary episode just seems.... right. Even more right is be seeing a game that gets called off so you need to find another non-league game is even better. Oh, and the spool tables you keep seeing are used for bulk electrical cables.
Hi..I'm new to your channel. This is hillarious,Dronfield is where I live !! Smiv, gotta get yourself down to the south-west for an Exeter City game, obviously a long way for you travel but there’s a cracking atmosphere and I can sort you parking less than a minute from the ground. Up the Grecians
What a way to brighten up a dull Tuesday morning just as you sit down to munch on the morning cornflakes.....SKY News talking about imminent WW3 kicking off, or a trip to Dronfield with cheesy chips and the 8th wonder of the world???? I'll take that width restriction :)
3.5 stars for facilities seems very harsh, such a low league and the pitch was playable in terrible conditions, meanwhile close by a higher division clubs game had to be called off because of the pitch, they had kids activities, a club house, merch at the ground, a snack bar, for the level i thought it looked brilliant
Congratulations on your 100th football stadium Smiv! Please try Liversedge, Brighouse or even my home team Welwyn Garden City lad. Keep up the good work! FOOTBALL!!!

*Nerd alert*. Technically, it's a wooden spool table probably used as a cable reel. You can get them on eBay for a tenner.
