      We have the power to put any company out of business for good but we don't, I worked at Walmart 3 times they fucked me all 3 times out of my job & pay, & Christmas is the worst time to work for devilmart, because that's when the stores get there bonuses so the store managers fire 30 percent of there workers before those bonuses are handed out, & the manager of that store gets that bonus money, when they fired me 3 days before Christmas I was shocked because I worked harder then anyone in that store, them it took Walmart 3 weeks to pay me, I went to the joke ass Labor board they did nothing about them giving me my check 3 weeks late, I lost my house over 5 years ago😢 & Walmart did not help me at all I'm still homeless, I will never support Walmart ever again. I know what Walmart is & how they treat there employees and vendors, Walmart does not deserve to be in business of any kind, and and it's funny that Walmart as a sign hanging in its breakroom/lunchroom how our employees makes the difference, hahahaha yeah ok, deceit is Walmart's strategy in business.

    I can relate to this. I almost lost my job at a restaurant in Georgia when a Mexican guy started beating his wife. I got outside pushed the guy several times & he tried to leave. But I had him so distracted that the police got there before he could take off. I was not about to let him leave. What happened in the aftermath, I don't know. All I know is as a young adult, I was pretty lucky that I didn't get hurt nor lose my job. But I've been through domestic violence with my old man, I'll be damned if I ever allow it to happen to me or a defenseless female.

    I saw something happen like this. A guy working at Walmart saw a woman choking and administered the Heimlich maneuver and a few days later he was fired from Walmart. The woman and her family did not complain but apparently it is a violation of policy for an employee to put their hands on a customer or potential customer for any reason, and though his intentions were good he violated the policy and was terminated. This happened about 5 years ago and the guy has since gotten an even better job, I asked if he regretted what he did and he said, "No I would have done the same thing."

  • @Sevenfold120
    @Sevenfold120 9 лет назад +12

    Reason why he was fired is very simple. The bottom line. If he was injured the company would have to pay for his hospital visit if he required one. Workplace comp, etc. Better employees not get involved and just wait for the cops. This goes for shoplifters and fights in the store. Employees are forbidden from doing anything.

    We have the walmartcorporate over here in the UK under the name of Homebase. It is one of the worst companies to work for. Low wages, poor employee rights and benefits, minimum wage and badly managed. I don't work there but a friend does part-time after recovering from a brain injury. At first he was treated like shit even though, before his injury, he used to be a highly respected General Manager for one of the best five star hotels in London's Knightsbridge area. He is still smarter than most managers in his store and thankfully so or he would have taken so much shit but he knows his employee and national employee rights and now defends other colleagues who they try to take advantage of. Good for him. It may not be classed as a skilled job but without the employees at Homebase or in any company , the company wouldn't exist. I used to work as a departmental head in an office environment and I never lost sight of the fact that your employees are the most important asset of your business no matter what the role. Everyone has an important part to play for that business in order for it to survive and run effectively. Much respect to everyone who works no matter where that is or what they do.
    You would think the idiots would be respectful of his actions as it only helps to represent Walmart employees as upstanding members of the community. What a decent guy. I hope he got justice for his bravery and community spirit.

    Walmart trains it's "superiors" to rule employees with iron fist, With such actions as bullying.. They get them to do task they are not qualified for, getting employees to work overtime then cutting the hours by the end of the week.
    They are trained to talk/treat workers any kind of way. "Any means necessary" & "strictly buisness" approach to get the job done. Foreigners don't get write ups because they have to have some one there that speaks there language to verify why they are getting written up.
    Employees work on holidays, some employees listed as part time but get full time hours just so they don't get benefits. So much wrong with the infrastructure of walmart.
    Employees opinions don't matter..

    If a crime is being committed then let it happen. If someone is being hurt let it happen. If someone is lying in a puddle of blood then let it sit there, step over her and do your job. Lessons learned?

    He should have never got involved beyond calling 911 and being a good witness. Never get involved in domestic violence beyond calling 911 when your a stranger.
    I've been in his situation but instead of pulling out my gun and becoming involved I called 911 and they arrested the guy.
    Unfortunately too many women protect their abusers. I could have shot the guy and had the woman turn around and say I shot him in cold blood. That was about 4 years ago I'll see if I can find out if they got back together.
