Right? I took a snapshot of this because I made Casey laugh enough to comment. I am liking this new Casey. He has time to be more active with his fans. This is how a passion project should be. Fun!
I'm 56. Have to disagree on working harder as you get older. You have to work smarter. More rest is key. Recovery takes longer. Joints don't hold up like they use to. I still workout 2-3 hours+ per day, 5-7 days a week. I don't actually have off days. I consider my rest days "active rest" such as yoga. Being consistent is probably the most important thing you can do. Vary your exercise/activity. Don't get hung up on just weights or running. I can easily kiteboard 3-5 hours a day. Its so much fun it doesn't feel like exercise. Remember....Keep it fun!

35 is definitely not old. Old is when you don't have dreams or anything to look forward to in your life. Not to mention if you can't move anymore you are old. My co-worker is 84 years old, does yoga every morning, works a full shift five days a week. Incredible guy.

You're right, that's not good. But look at the upside! You are young and like Casey said, while you're young, the price for being healthy is fairly low. It doesn't make a lot of difference what you do at your age, your body will cope. That means if you put in the effort, you can get in great shape and live a healthy life!

Fellow runner here: Actually, there are a tons of races where you can sign up on race day at the site. At least out in CA you can. Since Casey is a spontaneous type of person and seems to be always be late/busy. He probably forgot to check the website about sign-ups only online.

I've timed races with my dad my entire life, and it's always amazed me the age range of runners! From children to adults older than that guy who ran with you, it's incredible what people can do when they work hard.
I've timed them my whole life, but never ran one. I'm aiming to train myself enough to run one in 2017! (That being a 5k, not a marathon or anything)

I remembered a old guy who came with my family to hiking to the mountains, most of us are over 16 and 30 years old but that guy who was the driver and decided dont stay in the truck and came with us was ahead whole the time no exceptions, pretty fast walking at the trail he was about 60 yo also but it was an experience i'll never forget

58 here. Lots to love in this video...a little to laugh at, too. Keep running. The speed gets harder and harder to hold on to, but the miles are as rewarding as ever.
By the way, not many knows that Casey have done ironman tri race, which is marathon run. 4 km swim and 180 km bike race!!

Oh man I am so glad you made this video. Really encouraging as I have been questioning myself about running. I have ran 5 marathons in the past four years, I was 34 then and finished my first marathon ever, a year after that I've PRd by 40 minutes, two years later I haven't been able to PR again and then I thought about, geez I am 4 years older and almost 40 years old! I see it now, looks like I have to work twice as hard....
I'm a highschool cross country and track runner.... 6:15 for 10 miles is something that I can't and won't be able to accomplish for a while. Unbelievable performance Casey

All I can say without making this too long of a post is, I turn 33 years on in April this year. I've watched your films and VLOGs for awhile, and I really needed this one. I'm constantly fighting with myself to achieve the fitness levels I was at from years that have past. Thank you for reminding me that at the end of the day, the only way to get there is by WORK.
